| Named on the documents as | ”ANDREW FARKAS, Trustee” in the addressee block of two executed revocation instruments; “ANDREW FARKAS” in the appointment clause of Epstein’s will of January 27, 2012; “Farkas, Andrew L.” in the sender and addressee fields of the mail export, which is the commonest form in the release by a factor of about two over the plain forename-surname order; “Andrew L. Farkas” in running prose; and [email protected] in quoted message headers12345 |
| What a document in the release says he is | A trustee of The Jeffrey E. Epstein 2001 Trust One and of The Jeffrey E. Epstein 2001 Trust Two, from March 1, 2012 until the trusts were revoked on October 24, 2012; a trustee of The Jeffrey E. Epstein 2012 Trust from October 24, 2012, sworn on November 20, 2012; a successor executor named in the wills of January 27 and October 24, 2012 and in no will after them; and, in the signature blocks and disclaimers of his own messages, a principal of Island Capital Group LLC, of C-III Capital Partners LLC and of Island Global Yachting Ltd.; and, in a Virgin Islands law firm’s letter of January 29, 2016 to that company about the economic-development benefits of the marina it operates, “the General Partner”123678910 |
| Range of documents cited here | A term sheet of February 2007 for Epstein’s equity investment in the marina his company operates, and a message of April 17, 2007 written while he was flying to San Juan, through to a message of May 6, 2019 in which Epstein, writing to a third party, proposed to direct a gift from him111213 |
| Size of the file | The exact phrase "Andrew Farkas" returns 2,522 documents. That figure is a substantial undercount of him: the export’s own header form is Farkas, Andrew L., and the phrase "Farkas Andrew" returns 4,955. The union of every clean name form measured is 7,373 documents, of which 7,318 carry a name form of his, 5 carry one correspondent’s question about who “andrew” is and 50 carry a forwarded complaint concerning a different Farkas; with five damaged spellings of the surname the figure is 7,40514151617 |
| The surname alone | 9,382 documents, which is not a measure of him. The surname in this release also carries Jonathan Farkas, Jonathon Farkas, Michael Farkas, Somers Farkas, Leon Farkas, Evelyn Farkas and Farkas Hall, a Harvard building1819 |
| What the file records about money | A letter of December 13, 2012 asking Epstein to co-chair a Hasty Pudding gala and buy a table; a renewed personal appeal of February 1, 2016; a $50,000 check drawn on Gratitude America, Ltd. and mailed in March 2016; an invoice of August 1, 2016 for Epstein’s use of his helicopter, which Epstein’s accountant recorded as approved for payment; and a second $50,000 check, number 1062, drawn on Gratitude America, Ltd. on March 13, 2019 and solicited “per Andrew Farkas”. Separately and much larger: Epstein’s $12,976,977.85 wire of May 29, 2007 to Island Global Yachting Ltd. for a fifty per cent interest in the marina company, a $400,000 distribution of April 2016 of which Epstein was notified of a pro rata share, and a draft settlement of February 2014 naming Farkas as a party and providing for $292,655.00 to be paid to Epstein2021222324252627 |
| Not established here | That he knew anything of Epstein’s conduct; what Epstein meant by the words “a trustee for the girls” in the message that told him of the first appointment, or what the October 2013 petition was; that he ever acted under the will; that any gift discussed in May 2019 was made; anything about him beyond what the sheets cited here show |
Andrew L. Farkas is an American real-estate executive, the head of Island Capital Group LLC and of C-III Capital Partners LLC and the founder of the marina operator Island Global Yachting Ltd. He is named in Epstein’s executed estate instruments and not only in his correspondence, which is what distinguishes his file from most of the release. On January 27, 2012 Epstein signed a will appointing him, after Jes Staley, as a successor executor, and on the same day amended and restated both of his 2001 trusts with Darren K. Indyke, Staley and Farkas named as trustees; Farkas executed both restatements on March 1, 2012 and was, with Indyke, one of the two acting trustees of each trust until Epstein revoked them on October 24, 2012. On that same day Epstein created a new trust naming Indyke, Staley and Farkas as trustees, which Farkas swore to on November 20, 2012, and signed a new will in which Farkas stood alone as successor executor; a will of September 2013 replaced him and no later will in the release names him. The rest of the file is a very large correspondence with one substantial transaction inside it: in May 2007 Epstein paid Island Global Yachting Ltd. $12,976,977.85 for a fifty per cent interest in the company that owns American Yacht Harbor on St. Thomas, and from then into 2016 the marina’s reporting, its cash distributions and a dispute over that price ran between his office and Farkas’s; beyond it there is a Harvard theatre society to which Epstein gave money at his asking, and more than a decade of messages, breakfasts and schedule entries. The one sentence in which Epstein describes the appointment to him reads, in full, “i have made you a trustee for the girls. you neeed to sign a doc”; what Epstein meant by those words is not stated in that message or in any document read for this page, and this page does not supply a meaning. Nothing on this page is a finding of wrongdoing against him. Serving as a trustee or as a named executor is a lawful role, no document read for this page accuses him of anything, and nothing here should be read as inferring knowledge, control or benefit from a fiduciary title.
Identification: the phrase search is the wrong query for this subject
The base, and why it is wrong. Measured on 2026-09-13 against the corpus full-text index, counting distinct documents and never pages, with no result limit: the exact phrase "Andrew Farkas" returns 2,643 pages across 2,522 documents.14 That is the figure this desk was working from, and it is a substantial undercount. The Epstein mail export writes correspondents surname-first, so the commonest form of his name in the release is Farkas, Andrew L. The tokeniser drops the comma, so the phrase "Farkas Andrew" is a distinct query, and it returns 5,164 pages across 4,955 documents, very nearly twice the base.14 The two sets overlap heavily but neither contains the other.
| form | pages | documents |
|---|---|---|
"Andrew Farkas" | 2,643 | 2,522 |
"Farkas Andrew" | 5,164 | 4,955 |
"Andrew L Farkas" | 212 | 190 |
afarkas | 67 | 65 |
Farkas (surname alone) | 10,384 | 9,382 |
| union of the four name forms | 7,373 | |
| union with the five damaged surname forms | 7,405 |
The union was partitioned, not sampled. Every one of the 7,373 documents was machine-read in full and classified on the text around every occurrence of the surname:
| what the 7,373 are | documents |
|---|---|
carry Andrew Farkas, Andrew L. Farkas, Farkas, Andrew L., Farkas. Andrew L., Farkas Andrew or afarkas in a form consistent with his name | 7,318 |
| one correspondent’s question to Epstein, “By the way who is andrew? Farkas???”, on five documents | 5 |
documents carrying one forwarded complaint about securities dealing, which enters this union only because its text reads “In addition to that name Farkas: ANDREW/Jonathan Farkas” and the tokeniser makes Farkas and ANDREW adjacent there | 50 |
The complaint is the contamination the desk was warned about, and it is a different Farkas. Its own text names “Bag Man Michael Farkas” and “Jonathan Farkas”; it is an outside sender’s document, nothing in it is treated here as established, and this page makes no statement about any of the people it names. The same document was measured independently by the writer of Jared Kushner, which reached the same conclusion from a different query.16
The surname alone is not a measure of him. Farkas returns 9,382 documents, of which 2,011 lie outside the union of his name forms. That residue is populated by other people of the same surname and by damaged spellings of his own, and it is censused rather than sampled below.1819
And the surname itself is damaged, which no query on the correct spelling can reach. Probing the surname for lost, doubled and substituted letters found five forms that the index holds as distinct tokens. Together they reach 76 documents outside the union of his name forms, and every one of the 76 was opened:
| damaged form | documents | outside the name-form union | what they are |
|---|---|---|---|
Farka, the final s lost | 69 | 55 | office schedules and calendar reminders: “8:00am BREAKFAST w/Andrew Farka”, “5:00pm JE to Call Andrew Farka.”, “Call w/Andrew Farka=“ |
Farkus | 21 | 15 | some his, in his correspondents’ own typing, including “Andrew Farkus (Island Global Yachting)”; others Jonathan, Somers or an unrelated doctor |
Farkass, a possessive written without the apostrophe | 12 | 4 | one message of Epstein’s, in several returns |
Farkasa | 2 | 1 | |
Farkis | 1 | 1 | one message naming “lonanthan Farkis” |
Of the 76, 32 assign to him, 36 assign to another Farkas by a forename adjacent to the damaged surname, and 8 could not be assigned by rule and are named one by one in the footnote, of which one resolves to him on reading and seven do not.28 All 32 lie outside the Farkas set entirely, so they are invisible to every query on the correctly spelled surname as well as to every query on his name. The measured population of documents naming him is therefore 7,373 + 32 = 7,405, against the 2,522 the plain phrase returns. A generated edit-distance table cannot produce most of these forms: ocr_variants.py on "Andrew Farkas" returns zero forms, because the name contains none of the glyph pairs that generator knows; on "w/Andrew Farkas" it returns one, wlAndrew Farkas, which is real and which the census independently found.29
The estate instruments, 2010 to 2013
The timeline
Six instruments, one planning memorandum and two short exchanges in the release name him or address him in the office. Read in order they are a single sequence, and the sequence is the finding:
| date on the instrument | instrument | what it says about him | identifier |

| September 2013 | Last Will and Testament | the successor Executor is David Mitchell; Farkas is not named | EFTA01266260 p.18 |
Two things stand out and both are simply what the paper says. First, he signed late, twice. The 2001 restatements were executed by Epstein and Indyke on January 27, 2012 and by Farkas on March 1, thirty-four days later; the 2012 Trust is dated October 24, 2012 and Indyke swore to it that day, while Farkas swore to it on November 20, twenty-seven days later. Second, on one day, October 24, 2012, Epstein revoked the two trusts of which Farkas was then a trustee, created a new trust of which Farkas was again a trustee, and signed a new will in which Farkas became the sole named successor executor.1276 This page offers no explanation for either pattern and none is in the documents read for it.
The recitals, in the instruments’ own words
The Revocation and Termination of The Jeffrey E. Epstein 2001 Trust Two is addressed to “DARREN K. INDYKE, Trustee / ANDREW FARKAS, Trustee” and recites:
WHEREAS, on January 27, 2012, pursuant to the authority granted under Article FIFTEENTH of the Original Trust Agreement, Jeffrey E. Epstein amended and restated the Original Trust Agreement by executing the First Amendment and Restatement to Trust Agreement for The Jeffrey E. Epstein 2001 Trust Two with Darren K. Indyke, Jes Staley and Andrew Farkas named as Trustees therein
and, in the following recital:
WHEREAS, Darren K. Indyke and Andrew Farkas, as Trustees, executed the Amended and Restated Trust Agreement on January 27, 2012 and March 1, 2012, respectively, but Jes Staley never executed the Amended and Restated Trust Agreement and, as a result, as of the date hereof the only Trustees of the Trust are Darren K. Indyke and Andrew Farkas
The instrument for Trust One carries the same two recitals with the trust’s name changed and nothing else altered.2 Both trusts trace to a Trust Agreement of November 8, 2001 made by Epstein “with himself and Jeffrey A. Schantz, as Trustees”; see Jeffrey Schantz.12 Epstein revoked and terminated both on October 24, 2012, directing “that any and all assets of the Trust be returned to Jeffrey E. Epstein”, and acknowledged each before the notary Harry I. Beller in New York.12 The extraction of the Trust Two sheet renders the manuscript day as “October 4”; the day on the sheet is 24, written in ink in both the dating line and the acknowledgment, and the disagreement is declared rather than repaired.1
The restatement itself is in the release, and the document read here is unexecuted by him. The First Amendment and Restatement for Trust Two at EFTA01252008 carries a conclusion page reading “I have duly executed this Agreement on the date set opposite my signature”, with “Date signed: January 27, 2012” beside Epstein’s signature and again beside Indyke’s, and with the date lines and the signature lines against “JES STALEY, as a Trustee, and” and “ANDREW FARKAS, as a Trustee,” left blank, read at the image. The acknowledgment pages for Staley and for Farkas are likewise blank in the text layer, which was not read at the image here. So the document read here is the instrument as it stood on the day Epstein signed it, before the March 1 execution the revocation recites, and it records the powers the office carried.32
The will of January 27, 2012
Epstein’s Last Will and Testament, executed “the 27th day of January, 2012” and sworn before the same notary that day in New York, provides at Article THIRD:
I appoint DARREN K. INDYKE, JOSEPH PAGANO and LAWRENCE NEWMAN to be the Executors of this Will. If any one or more of my Executors fails to qualify or ceases to act, I appoint JES STALEY and ANDREW FARKAS, singly and in the order named, as successor Executors.
Article SECOND of the same will gives Epstein’s residuary estate to the then acting trustees of the 2001 Trust One “as amended and restated contemporaneously with the execution of this Will”.3 The will and the two trust restatements are therefore one transaction on one day, and the two men named as its backstop executors are the two men named as its new trustees.
The will of October 24, 2012, and what happened to the appointment
The will Epstein signed the day he revoked the 2001 trusts moved him up. Its Article THIRD reads:
I appoint DARREN K. INDYKE, JOSEPH PAGANO and JAMES E. STALEY to be the Executors of this Will. If any one or more of my Executors fails to qualify or ceases to act, I appoint ANDREW FARKAS as successor Executor. I authorize the last acting Executor to designate his successor as Executor.
Staley had moved from the successor line into the named executors; Farkas stood alone behind them. The same will fixes executors’ compensation at “the sum of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000) to each Executor upon the completion of probate”, and provides that an executor who resigns forfeits it.6 Nothing read for this page shows that he was told of this second appointment or of the October 2012 will, or that he accepted either. What he was told of the first appointment is at 33.
The appointment did not survive the next will. A will executed in September 2013 names the same three executors and appoints David Mitchell as successor Executor; Farkas is not named in it. Later wills in the release name Lawrence H. Summers (November 2014), then Eva Andersson Dubin followed by Kathryn Ruemmler followed by Stephen Hanson (June 2017), and finally Boris Nikolic. His window as a named fiduciary in Epstein’s estate documents therefore runs from January 27, 2012 to September 2013.8
February 17, 2012: Epstein tells him
Thirteen days before he executed the restatements, Farkas wrote to Epstein at 9:53 a.m. New York time under the subject line “Re: Columbus”: “So I made my pilgrimage. I want to tell you all about it. Where can I reach you this weekend?” Epstein replied at 10:06 with a line giving a telephone number at which he could be reached in New York, and then:
i have made you a trustee for the girls. you neeed to sign a doc
Farkas answered two minutes later, “Yes sir.”; Epstein wrote back twenty-six seconds after that, “please”.33
That is Epstein’s own description of the appointment, and it is the only description of it by anyone in the documents read for this page. What Epstein meant by “the girls” is not stated in the message and no document read for this page identifies it; the searches that could have refuted that, and what each returned, are set out at 33 and were run on the event’s vocabulary rather than on this page’s. An earlier version of this page said that the instruments name no beneficiary in the clear and that the dispositive articles had not been read at the image. That was wrong, and reading them is what corrected it: Article II of the restated trust agreement is a schedule of fixed legacies, three of whose legatees print in the clear, and it is set out below where the office is described.35 Nothing in that article uses the words “the girls” or defines them; this page draws no connection between the article and the phrase, or between any person named in the article and Farkas, and it attributes nothing across any bar on the sheet. The estate-planning memorandum’s list of legatees is partly withheld by the producing party. This page does not connect the phrase to any list, any person or any conduct, and nothing in the exchange or in any document read for it suggests that Farkas asked what it meant or was told. The plain facts are that Epstein used those words, that Farkas answered “Yes sir.”, and that the signature followed on March 1.
The same two words occur once more in this correspondence, in Farkas’s own writing, and the page reports that rather than leaving it to be found. On October 28, 2014 Epstein asked him for advice about a few hours at a Bahamas resort; Farkas answered, “All but directly adjacent. If you go to Atlantis definitely take the girls for a walk through The Dig. Take them for a ride on the aquaventure river ride. And then go to The Cove to hang out by the pool”. He asked, “What is taking you there and why?” Epstein replied, “face to face . I will return on 8 th 9, 10th.”36 Nothing read for this page connects that message to the message of February 2012, and this page draws no connection between them.
October 2, 2013: a petition signed as trustee
The one document read for this page in which Farkas acts in the office is a thread of October 2, 2013, and it is oblique. Epstein wrote at 2:40 p.m., “vanity fair and the ny post are torturing WA”. Farkas replied at 3:58, “I need the tax id# for the petitioner. Does the fact that they are torturing the poor man mean that I need to forget his candidacy and look elsewhere? I am told that Sony and his agent reached out to him yesterday.” Epstein answered at 5:08, “not sure , as he is in a baaaaaaaddddmoood. / I appreiciate you doint the pettion . thanks”, and separately, “Use yours as trustee please”. Farkas asked at 5:24, “So I’m not sure I understand. I am petitioning as an individual? They want my social security number?” Epstein answered at 5:31, “yes, as trustee , but the tax id is your social. . she also knows you by name,”. At 5:44 Farkas wrote: “Ok. I assume that this will put me in the cross hairs of an examination. I’ve done it and sent it in.” Epstein closed it at 7:09 p.m.: “thanks . it will be helpful to us both”.34
What the petition was is not stated anywhere in the thread, and this page does not say. The thread interleaves it with a separate subject, a candidacy and an approach by “Sony and his agent”, and the initials “WA” are not expanded on the sheet. The one thing the exchange establishes is that in October 2013 Epstein asked Farkas to file something as a trustee, and that Farkas filed it. By then both 2001 trusts had been revoked for a year and the office he held was of the 2012 Trust.347
What the trusteeship carried, and what it did not
The restated trust agreement in the release sets out the office. Under Article I the grantor reserved to himself the right to amend the agreement “by a written instrument executed and acknowledged by me and my Trustee”, to revoke and terminate it “by delivering to my Trustee a written instrument executed and acknowledged solely by me”, and to withdraw or appoint any part of the principal on the same footing; all income “shall be paid to me, or accumulated or paid as I may direct in writing from time to time”, and “My Trustee may distribute any part or all of the principal of the Trust Estate to me in the discretion of my Trustee”.32 That is a revocable grantor trust, and on its face the powers that matter are the grantor’s. The 2012 Trust repeats those reservations almost word for word.7
What the office would have had to do, had the grantor died while he held it, is on the face of the same instrument and was read at the image for this page. Article II of the restated agreement for Trust Two, headed “After My Death”, directs that “upon my death, the trust shall terminate and the Trustee shall distribute the balance of the principal of the trust as follows”, and then sets out seven lettered subdivisions. Three legatees print in the clear: “Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000) to JEAN LUC BRUNEL, if he survives me”; “One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) to LAWRENCE PAUL VISOSKI, JR., if he survives me”; and “One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) in equal shares to LUCIANO A. FONTANILLA, JR.” and a second legatee. The other legacies in the article are given to legatees the sheet does not name, and this page attributes nothing across any bar on it and names nobody from beneath one. Subdivision G directs that “the balance thereof, including any distributions in Subdivisions A through F above which are ineffective, shall be payable to the Grantor’s estate to be disposed of in accordance with the provisions of the Grantor’s Will and the Grantor’s Trust One”.35 See Jean-Luc Brunel and Larry Visoski. The memorandum at 31 heads the planning for this instrument “New 2011 TRUST TWO (Friends Trust)”; this page carries that heading and the article beneath it as the documents give them, and supplies no gloss on either. Epstein did not die while Farkas held the office, and nothing read for this page records any distribution under this article to anyone.
Beyond the October 2013 petition, no document read for this page records Farkas doing anything as trustee, receiving anything from any of these trusts, or acting or declining to act as an executor.
The tree agrees, with one gap
Four published pages already state parts of this and none of them disagrees with the instruments or with each other: Jes Staley records the January 2012 will naming Staley and Farkas as successor executors; Jeffrey Schantz records both trusts restated on January 27, 2012 with Indyke, Staley and Farkas named, Staley never executing, and the revocation on October 24, 2012; Kelly Bovino records the same for Trust Two and adds that Indyke and Farkas executed it; Ira Zicherman records that by the October 2012 revocation the trustees were Indyke and Farkas. The instruments confirm all four.123
The gap is an omission, not a conflict. The live Jes Staley page describes the will of October 24, 2012 and the Jeffrey E. Epstein 2014 Trust but does not record that the October 2012 will names Farkas as successor executor, or that the Jeffrey E. Epstein 2012 Trust of the same date named Staley and Farkas as trustees alongside Indyke and that Farkas swore to it on November 20, 2012. Nothing on that page is wrong; two instruments are simply absent from it. This page records the gap rather than filling it on another page’s behalf.67
The Virgin Islands
Epstein bought half of the marina
The correspondence about American Yacht Harbor is correspondence between two owners of it, and the transaction that made them owners is invisible to every query on his name. Six documents record the purchase, the money and the distributions: the term sheet, the bank statement, the company agreement, the distribution letter, the accountant’s message about it, and the bank’s own schedule. All six are among the 159 documents the identifier Island Global Yachting returns outside the union of his name forms, and not one of them prints his name in any spelling. Four further documents set out below are inside that union and were reachable all along; this page simply had not carried them, and it was correcting the surplus figure that sent a reader back to look.37
A term sheet headed “TERM SHEET FOR EQUITY INVESTMENT IN AMERICAN YACHT HARBOR, ST. THOMAS, USVI” and dated “February __, 2007”, with the day of the month left blank on the sheet, read at the image, records the proposed transaction in these words: “Jeffrey Epstein, either directly or through an affiliated entity (“Epstein”), would invest in IGY - AYH St. Thomas Holdings, LLC (“IGY-AYH”), a USVI limited liability company that acquired the properties constituting American Yacht Harbor in St. Thomas, USVI”; “IGY-AYH is an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of Island Global Yachting Ltd.”; “Epstein would acquire a 50% passive interest in IGY-AYH”; “At the closing of the Proposed Transaction, Epstein would pay $12,961,784.78 in cash (the “Purchase Price”) to IGY in exchange for the Equity Interest”, that price being “50% of the $25,923,569.56 paid by IGY-AYH to acquire the Property”. The sheet does not treat that figure as final: beneath it, under the italic words “Please note”, the term sheet prints that “the exact Purchase Price will be determined at closing, subject to final reconciliation of all amounts incurred by IGY in the acquisition”. Control was not part of the bargain: “Island Global Yachting Facilities Ltd. … would be the sole managing member and retain control of IGY-AYH, including the right to appoint all officers and directors thereof.”11 Farkas is not named anywhere on that sheet.
The payment is in Epstein’s own bank statement. His JPMorgan Private Bank Premier Checking statement for May 2007 records, on May 29, 2007, an internal transfer of $13,000,000 into the account and, the same day, a “Fedwire Debit” of $12,976,977.85 “VIA: WACHOVIA BK NA SC”, “A/C: ISLAND GLOBAL YACHTING LTD”, “REF: REF: PURCHASE OF INTEREST IN AMERICAN YACHT HARBOR”.25 That sum is $15,193.07 larger than the Purchase Price written into the February term sheet, which said on its face that the exact price “will be determined at closing, subject to final reconciliation”. Nothing read for this page accounts for the difference, and this page offers no account of it. The governing instrument is in the release as well: an “AMENDED AND RESTATED LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY AGREEMENT OF IGY-AYH ST. THOMAS HOLDINGS, LLC”, made “among IGY-AYH ST. THOMAS HOLDINGS, LLC, ISLAND GLOBAL YACHTING FACILITIES LTD. and JEFFREY EPSTEIN”.38 Nothing read for this page records what Farkas did or did not do in that transaction; the sheets read for it name the companies and Epstein and do not name him.
The dispute, and a draft agreement that does name him
By 2013 the two sides were negotiating. On September 2, 2013 Cecile de Jongh wrote to Island Capital’s Frank Garrison, under the subject line “AYH Counter Proposal”:
In response to your 8/27/13 outline of a proposal for resolving open matters between IGY, Andrew Farkas and their affiliates (“IGY”) and Jeffrey Epstein and his affiliates (“Epstein”) regarding American Yacht Harbor (“AYH”), set forth below is an outline of a counter-proposal which we believe more fairly resolves these matters.
She added that the counter-proposal was “intended as a settlement proposal for discussion purposes only” and that “it is without prejudice to the rights and claims of Epstein against IGY and shall not be used or admissible in any future legal proceedings or arbitrations”. Epstein forwarded the thread the same day.39
The draft settlement that IGY’s general counsel sent in February 2014 names him as a party. The document is headed “DKI REVISED DRAFT 2.12.14” and “SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT AND GENERAL RELEASE”, and opens: “This Settlement Agreement and General Release (this “Agreement”), dated as of February__, 2014, is made by and between Jeffrey Epstein (“Epstein”), Andrew Farkas (“Farkas”), Island Global Yachting Facilities Ltd., a Cayman Islands exempted company (“IGYF”), and IGY-AYH St. Thomas Holdings, LLC, a U.S. Virgin Islands limited liability company (“AYH”, and together with Epstein, Farkas, and IGYF, the “Parties”).” Its recitals state that “IGYF and Epstein entered in a Membership Interest Purchase Agreement, dated as of May 29, 2007 pursuant to which Epstein purchased a 50% membership interest in AYH”, and that “Epstein, Farkas IGYF and AYH have a dispute (the “Dispute”) regarding, among other things, the purchase price paid by Epstein for his 50% interest in AYH pursuant to the Membership Interest Purchase Agreement and certain other matters concerning the operation and management of, and the fees and charges with respect to, the marina and buildings comprising American Yacht Harbor …”. Its first operative clause reads: “Upon execution and acknowledgement of this Agreement by all Parties, IGYF shall pay or cause to be paid to Epstein the sum of Two Hundred Ninety Two Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Five 00/100 Dollars ($292,655.00) in immediately available funds by wire transfer to an account designated by Epstein.”27 Read at the image, the signature page of the sheet read here is blank: the ruled line above “Name: Andrew Farkas” carries no signature, and neither do the lines for Epstein or for the two companies. Nothing read for this page shows that the agreement was executed.27
A schedule prepared from Deutsche Bank’s production carries the same figure three months later. Its Exhibit C is headed “Capitalization of Jeffrey Epstein’s Now/SuperNow Accounts” and its printed footnote says that “the attached chart reflects incoming wire transfers from Deutsche Bank brokerage accounts and accounts held at third party financial institutions”. The row for 5/16/2014 reads “Island Global Yachting LTD” and “$292,655”, against the Bates cite DB-SDNY-0003833.40 The sheet therefore records money arriving in Epstein’s account and not leaving it, and the amount is the amount in the February draft to the dollar. This page records the two documents and the interval between them and draws no conclusion from it: nothing read here says the agreement was signed, or that the transfer was made under it.
Reporting, distributions and the office of owner
A memorandum of July 17, 2015 from Tom Mukamal is addressed “To: Andrew Farkas, Jeffery Epstein”, copied to Frank Garrison, Eric Simonton and Kenny Jones, and headed “RE: American Yacht Harbor Asset Management Strategy”. It reports capital spending at the marina of “$123,746” in 2013, “$346,420” in 2014 and “$341,599 YTD” in 2015 against “2015 projected total revenue … approximately $5.3MM”, and lists, among the projects to which “focus will be shifted … during the remainder of 2015 and 2016”, an “Elevator cab refurbishment” marked “at request of ownership”.41
On April 25, 2016 IGY-AYH St. Thomas Holdings LLC wrote to Epstein: “We are pleased to notify you of a pro rata share of a $400,000 distribution of operating cash flow being made by IGY-AYH St. Thomas Holdings LLC. The record date is April 25, 2016 and payment date for this distribution is April 27, 2016”, closing “please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions concerning your investment in IGY-AYH St. Thomas Holdings LLC”. It is signed by Jennifer L. Greene, Executive Vice President.26 The next morning Epstein’s accountant Richard Kahn wrote to IGY’s general counsel: “i understand that mr epstein and mr farkas have =greed to distribute 200,000 to each partner this week / can you please provide details on =hen that check will be received”.26 The surname on that message carries a title and no forename, and this page does not supply one.
On July 28, 2016 Kahn wrote directly to “Andrew Farkas”, copying Epstein, forwarding the marina’s quarterly financial statements under the subject line “Fwd: 6.16 Reporting - American Yacht Harbor”: “i just reviewed attached and see 2,800,000 in cash yet we still have no capital improvement plan? / please advise / thank you”.42
The Economic Development Authority
The Virgin Islands government’s benefits programme is the seam where the marina, the territory and his own name meet. On January 29, 2016 the St. Thomas firm Kellerhals Ferguson Kroblin PLLC wrote to Janice E. Cole, Vice President Business Affairs of Island Global Yachting Ltd., under the heading “RE: IGY-AYH St. Thomas Holdings, LLC d/b/a American Yacht Harbor / Required Disclosures for Beneficial Owners”. The letter sets out what the Economic Development Authority requires of “each beneficial owner, whether direct or indirect, of an applicant that owns five percent (5%) or more of the benefitted business”: a notarised Truth and Authorization Form which “authorizes representatives within the EDA, and third party services providers, to conduct background checks on the Beneficial Owners”; “copies of their last three years’ tax returns”; “a Form 8821 allowing the EDA to request information from the Bureau of Internal Revenue of the U.S. Virgin Islands”; and “a short biography and … date of residency in the U.S. Virgin Islands, if any”. A printed footnote to the first of those requirements reads, in full: “This would include Andrew Farkas, as the General Partner.”10 Nothing read for this page records whether any such disclosure was made, by him or by anyone.
The permit dispute and the office
Farkas’s marina company, Island Global Yachting Ltd., operated American Yacht Harbor at Red Hook on St. Thomas, and AYH is a recurring subject line in his correspondence with Epstein. On January 11, 2014 the company’s president, Thomas Mukamal, wrote to Farkas that IGY had filed an objection to a coastal-zone permit application by Paul Hoffman adjacent to the marina. Farkas forwarded it to Epstein the same day:
I just received notice of this today. We will prosecute it aggressively, but I believe that john and cecile may be very tight with this gentleman. Any advice?
Epstein answered, “paul is a scumbag. I will handle”, and Farkas replied, “Indeed.”9 The “john and cecile” of that message are the then governor of the Virgin Islands and his wife; see Cecile de Jongh and Paul Hoffman, which carries the rest of that dispute through to a settlement discussion in January 2015.
A week later, on January 18, 2014, Farkas wrote to Epstein about the governor’s State of the Territory address:
That night is de jongh’s “State of the Territory” address. I have something substantive cooking down there about which we should speak. In respect thereof they have asked me to attend the address. You and I are scheduled to spend some time together that afternoon. Here’s an idea - what if we flew down there, attended the speech and reception and then flew back? I have not yet decided whether or not this is a good idea, but in case i decide it’s something I need to do in the name of commerce, would you be game?
Epstein declined: “can’t . have ehud barak with me”. See Ehud Barak.43
February 2014: a settlement proposal. On February 11, 2014 Island Capital’s Frank M. Garrison asked Cecile de Jongh whether IGY’s draft settlement agreement about AYH should go “directly to your counsel w/ a cc to you (or vice versa) to expedite”; she answered, “Yes, please send to Darren Indyke”. IGY’s general counsel Mark Lande sent it that afternoon “in the nature of a settlement proposal and by agreement among the parties will be treated as such and not be admissible in any future proceeding”, and on February 13 Indyke forwarded a rent-roll analysis to Epstein with the note, “Jeanne’s rent analysis. The rent roll does not incorporate latest 3% escalations.”44 Farkas is not a writer on any message in that chain, but he is a named party to the draft it carried; the draft and what it provided for are set out above. In April 2018 Epstein asked him to “check the price for either of us seems around 9m for a buy or sell at AYH”, and he answered, “yes I will”.45
December 2014: the Mapp transition. On December 2, 2014, under the subject line “Transition”, Farkas wrote to Epstein a single line: “Mapp transition offices will be @ yhg”, the initials of his Yacht Haven Grande marina on St. Thomas. Epstein replied the same morning, “If Ok with Ben I would like my attny kathy ruemmler to be at the meeting? she was white house counsel”. Nothing read for this page records whether that meeting took place or what it was about. Kenneth Mapp is described in this correspondence in August 2014 as a “gubernatorial candidate” whom Epstein’s office was arranging to meet, and in an Epstein message of August 2016 as “governor mapp”. See Kathryn Ruemmler.4647
Harvard, the Hasty Pudding and the money
December 13, 2012. Farkas wrote to Epstein on his own letterhead:
I am sure you know of my affections for and commitment to The Hasty Pudding Institute of 1770 at Harvard. Last year, Sandi and I made a gift to Harvard that financed a renovation and expansion of the building that housed The Pudding (built originally in 1888). That building, now called Farkas Hall, is among the primary centers for the performing arts at Harvard.
The letter went on to ask Epstein to be listed as a dinner co-chair of a gala honouring Michael Lynton at the Mandarin Oriental in New York on March 4, 2013, to buy a table, and to “consider a contribution to The Hasty Pudding Institute of $25,000 to become a member of the Fraternal Order of The Friendly Alligator”. It states that the Institute “does not receive any funding at all from Harvard”.20 On January 4, 2013 the Island Capital employee handling the appeal asked Lesley Groff to set up a five-minute call between Epstein and Farkas about the letter; Groff replied that “Jeffrey has emailed both me and Andrew saying a call is not necessary because he will donate no matter what.”48
February 1, 2016. Farkas wrote directly to the address the export labels “Florida Science Foundation”:
I am waiting to hear from you for our scheduled call today but I understand that you’re backed up. My call was to ask you to renew your contribution to The Hasty Pudding Institute for me again this year. You have been VERY generous to this organization in the past, I know, because of the extent of its import to me. That has not waned and I do not take your support lightly nor for granted.
April 7, 2015. Richard Kahn listed for the office, among items for Epstein’s return, “Hasty Pudding - per Jee girls will attend so please gather names and coordinate with farkas office Date of Party - April 13th at Plaza”; the office replied the next morning that it “had sent the list of attendees to hasty pudding coordinator before I left”. The surname on that message carries no forename and this page does not supply one.49
March 2016. The gala’s coordinator wrote to Epstein: “Per Andrew Farkas, we understand that you’ll once again be supporting the Hasty Pudding Order of the Golden Sphinx Gala this year.” Epstein’s accountant Richard Kahn instructed the office, “please send 50,000 from gratitude to hasty pudding”, and the check was directed to 717 Fifth Avenue, 18th Floor, New York, which is Island Capital’s address and the address the coordinator gave.22
August 1, 2016. An Island Capital Group employee sent Groff “Mr. Epstein’s invoice for use of Andrew Farkas’ helicopter”. Kahn answered within the hour: “I received and jee approved. I will pay tomorrow.”23 The invoice itself is an attachment and its amount is not on any sheet read for this page.
April 3, 2018. Epstein wrote to Farkas a three-item message: “1 do you want my table for the HAsty pudding? . 2. can you check the price for either of us seems around 9m for a buy or sell at AYH, 3, still waitihng on gift?” Farkas answered the same afternoon, “1) yes pls / 2) yes I will / 3)”, followed by the name and occupation of a real-estate agent.45
March 13, 2019. The Hasty Pudding Institute’s gala coordinator wrote to Groff: “I received word from Andrew Farkas that Mr. Epstein has generously agreed to contribute $50,000 to the Hasty Pudding Institute for the Gala.” Groff put the accounting office on the message, and a check for fifty thousand dollars, number 1062, drawn on Gratitude America, Ltd. at FirstBank Puerto Rico and dated 3/13/2019, was made payable to “The Hasty Pudding Institude of 1770” and mailed that day. The coordinator confirmed on March 20 that “The check was received yesterday.”24 The payee’s name is misspelled on the check itself and is reproduced here as printed.
May 6, 2019. Writing to Joi Ito three months before his arrest, Epstein proposed to direct a gift from Farkas to MIT: “i can have andrew farkas , he gave a building to the hasty pudding harvard. fund plant guys.” Ito asked, “Can he give a gift to me at MIT?” and “What is the size of the gift?”; Epstein answered, “100-200”. Farkas is not a party to that exchange and no document read for this page shows that he knew of it or that any such gift was made.13
Correspondence and the office
The earliest message read for this page is of April 17, 2007, forwarded to Epstein by his assistant, in which Farkas wrote, “I am flying to san Juan as I write this. Things are well all around (other than a surprise $5mm construction budget variance on st thomas about which I am furious, but that’s another story all together”.12 Epstein wrote to him on November 16, 2008, “great seeing you,, sorry it was such a schlep”.50
In June 2009 Epstein sent a business contact to him. Gerald G. Barton of Landmark Land Company reported back: “I had a nice meeting with Andrew. He treats your friends very well. He thought there was a substantive possibility of synergism between what he does and what we do. He asked Charles Garner to join us. Charles is President of IGY.” Epstein answered on June 26, 2009, “i don’t see anything with farkas until the fall at earliest. , he thinks there is so much low hanging fruit”.51
On August 14, 2011 Epstein asked, “how was last night”; Farkas answered with a guest list, “Milkin, bloomberg, kravis, perlman, schumer, corzine, marron, tisch, roth, ross (Steve and wilbur), mack, blankfein, fuld, weymouth, lefrak, solow, you name ‘em. Aggregate net worth larger than most countries, credit rating better than that of the USA. Elton John performed for 1.5 hrs.” That message is already cited on Chuck Schumer for the fact that the senator is named in it and nothing more.52
Four further threads are carried on the pages that own them and are not repeated here: the November 12, 2016 and January 2019 exchanges in which Farkas and Epstein discussed Donald Trump Jr.; the September 18, 2016 schedule line listing him among a group of guests, on Vitaly Churkin; and the American Yacht Harbor dispute on Paul Hoffman.
The surname residue
The 2,011 documents that carry Farkas but no form of his name were classified by rule, and the rule is published here so a reader can re-run it. Each document’s full text was retrieved and tested, in the order of the table, against a regular expression requiring a forename token adjacent to the surname. The first rule that matches assigns the document; the last row is the class that no rule can assign.

62 + 5 + 1,256 + 39 + 13 + 23 + 13 + 1 + 9 + 15 + 2 + 1 + 28 + 544 = 2,011.53
The 544 cannot be assigned by any rule, and this page does not assign them. No forename stands beside the surname on any of them. Sorted mechanically: 288 are schedule, appointment or reminder lines; 162 are message headers or bodies; 94 match neither test. The full text of all 94 was retrieved and the matched line of every one was read; the four named below were opened in full. They are not a uniform class and they are not all him, and the four that matter are named individually:
- EFTA01347225 is not a Farkas document at all. It is a legal copy of a Deutsche Bank check drawn on Jeffrey Epstein’s account on 1/9/2014, number 645, payable to a named individual. Read at the image, the written amount line is “Fourteen Thousand and 00/100”; the corpus text layer renders the word “Fourteen” as “Farkas”, and that single misreading is the only reason the document is in the surname population. No person named Farkas appears on the sheet.54
- EFTA00159332 is an FBI FD-302 record of a proffer, and the surname on it is assigned to nobody. Read at the image, its printed page 10 reads “[bar] FARKAS introduced a Sultan from Dubai to EPSTEIN.” A bar stands immediately before the surname, and this page attributes nothing across it. The document carries no forename for that surname anywhere. It is a witness proffer under a protective order and nothing further is taken from it here.55
- EFTA02081651 is Richard Kahn’s office to-do list of April 7, 2015, whose third item reads “Hasty Pudding - per Jee girls will attend so please gather names and coordinate with farkas office Date of Party - April 13th at Plaza”. It records that Epstein’s office assembled a guest list for a gala table through an office the message calls “farkas office”. No forename appears and this page does not supply one.49
- EFTA00882916 is Epstein writing on June 26, 2009 to Gerald Barton of Landmark Land Company, “i don’t see anything with farkas until the fall at earliest. , he thinks there is so much low hanging fruit”, beneath Barton’s own report of June 22 that “I had a nice meeting with Andrew. He treats your friends very well… He asked Charles Garner to join us. Charles is President of IGY.” The forename and the company in Barton’s message make the reference identifiable, but the surname line itself carries no forename, so the document falls outside the name-form union by construction.51
The remaining 90 are Epstein’s own lowercase notes and week-plans (farkas on jan 2; call farkas; see if farkas is in new york tues - thurs), device calendar-alarm exports whose event title is the single word farkas, Mac address-book contact rows, one message reporting “the farkas article in the post” of August 15, 2016, one of March 21, 2017 in which Epstein’s accountant writes “12 east 73rd was farkas”, and four documents carrying one correspondent’s sign-off “best J farkas”. They are listed here as a class and not assigned to any person, because on each of them the forename is simply not on the sheet.56
Spidering: the identifiers that were searched
The name forms above were not the only queries run. Every identifier found on a document that names him was searched in turn, and the identifiers those returned were searched again, until nothing new appeared:
| identifier harvested | where it came from | documents | outside the name-form union |
|---|---|---|---|
[email protected] | his own quoted message headers | 65 | 0 |
[email protected], a damaged form of it | address harvest over the union | 6 | 0 |
islecap (the domain alone) | the same headers | 106 | 0 |
Island Capital Group | his messages’ confidentiality footer | 3,145 | 607 |
C-III Capital | the same footer on the 2013 thread | 455 | 18 |
Island Global Yachting | Thomas Mukamal’s signature block | 272 | 159 |
Yacht Haven Grande | the YHG subject lines | 90 | 46 |
Thomas Mukamal | the January 2014 AYH thread | 82 | 40 |
Chelsie Biegel | the January 2013 gala thread | 41 | 20 |
Maddie Hagen | the March 2019 gala thread | 44 | 9 |
Hasty Pudding | the December 2012 letter | 803 | 629 |
Farkas Hall | the same letter | 18 | 3 |
Insignia Financial | probed as a corporate identity, not found as a fact | 4 | 0 |
Every address the spider found for him is the same address. A harvest of every e-mail-shaped string on all 7,373 documents of the union returned exactly one local part belonging to him, afarkas, on the single domain islecap.com, together with one damaged form of it; the other islecap.com addresses on those sheets belong to his colleagues. So on this subject the address route adds nothing the name route did not already reach, which is the opposite of the result it gives on some subjects and is recorded here as a measurement rather than as a rule.57
Where it stopped, and where the stopping rule was wrong. An earlier version of this page gave the Island Global Yachting surplus as 41 documents and argued from that figure that the corporate terms return large sets only because they sit in a standard footer on every message anyone at those companies sent, so that their surplus over the union measures his colleagues’ correspondence and not his. The measured surplus is 159, not 41, and at 159 that explanation does not hold for this term.37
The 159 were retrieved in full and examined. 145 of the 159 carry no form of the surname at all, so no query on his name in any spelling reaches them. 121 are e-mail documents and 38 are not. 98 carry the term only in an e-mail confidentiality disclaimer or in a colleague’s signature block, so that much of the footer explanation survives. But 61 carry it in the body of a message or on the face of a record, and those 61 are not correspondence traffic. They are the corporate, conveyancing, financing, audit and banking records of the marina company he founded, and among them are the records of a transaction between that company and Epstein that the name forms did not reach and that this page had not carried. What they turned out to be is set out in its own section below.37
The surplus of the remaining twelve identifiers in the table was not examined document by document, and this page therefore makes no convergence claim for any of them: the sentence that the spider had converged has been withdrawn along with the figure it rested on.5737
What is not established, and how that was tested
No document read for this page records any statement, letter, denial or explanation from Andrew Farkas, from Island Capital Group, from C-III Capital Partners or from counsel for any of them, about the trusteeship, the executorship or anything else described here. The disconfirming document would be a message or letter under one of those names responding to a question about the estate instruments, or a lawyer’s letter identifying himself as acting for him. Searches of the full-text index for Farkas together with each of trustee, executor, estate, Indyke and counsel, and for "Island Capital Group" together with each of subpoena, deposition and counsel, returned correspondence and the instruments already cited and no such document.58
Nothing read for this page shows that he acted under either trusteeship or under the will. The disconfirming document would be a trustee resolution, a distribution instruction, a tax return signed as trustee, an appearance in an estate proceeding, or a resignation. None of those words appears in this page’s own account of him, so the test is not circular. Searches for Farkas together with each of resignation, resign, distribution, probate and Surrogate returned nothing of that kind.58
What the office carried is stated only from the instrument itself, which reserves the operative powers to the grantor. No trustee resolution, distribution instruction, tax return signed as trustee, appearance in an estate proceeding or resignation bearing his name was located.59

Page 21 is the Farkas acknowledgment: “STATE OF New York / COUNTY OF New York”, “The foregoing instrument was subscribed and sworn to before me this 20th day of November, 2012, by ANDREW FARKAS, a Trustee, who is personally known to me”, “Sworn to before me this 20th day of November, 2012”, over a manuscript signature and the stamp of Marc W. Levy, Notary Public, State of New York, qualified in New York County. The state, the county, both instances of “20th” and both instances of “November” are written in ink; the identification line is blank. The preceding sheet carries the Indyke acknowledgment sworn “this 24th day of October, 2012” and the Staley acknowledgment, whose manuscript day the extraction does not resolve and which was not read at the image here. Two further documents carry the same instrument title: EFTA00082382, at 21 sheets, whose first sheet prints the same date and the same three trustees, and EFTA01071198, at 20 sheets, whose first sheet prints “dated October 2012” with no day and the trustee’s name as “JES STALEY”. Only their first sheets were read; neither is asserted to be a copy of this one and nothing here rests on either. The document is not in any register. ↩ ↩2 ↩3 ↩4 ↩5 ↩6 ↩7

Succession of named successor executors, from a search of the full-text index for the phrases
"successor Executor"and"successor Executors", scoped totext_content, distinct documents, with no result limit. Re-measured 2026-09-14: the singular phrase returns 132 pages across 57 documents and the plural 22 pages across 16; the union of the two is 59 documents and the intersection is 14. An earlier version of this footnote gave the return as 35 and said that all 35 were opened. 35 is the return forFarkas AND Trusteeand had been carried across in error; the correction is recorded here rather than made silently. Seventeen of the 59 are the instruments named below, whose appointment clauses are quoted or summarised here; the identifiers were checked against the return one by one. The full text of each of the other 42 was retrieved from the corpus and tested by regular expression, and not one of the 42 carries any form of the surname reachable byfarkorfaric; their appointment clauses were not read one by one, and the claim made from them here is only that none of them names him in any spelling those two stems reach. They resolve to these instruments. January 27, 2012, Staley then Farkas: EFTA01266236; the same clause is also printed by EFTA00016865, EFTA00080891, EFTA00092622 and EFTA00298572. October 24, 2012, Farkas alone: EFTA01266247 and the three documents named at 6. September 2013, David Mitchell: EFTA01266260 p.1, executed “the [manuscript day] day of September, 2[013]”. November 2014, Lawrence H. Summers: EFTA01251978 p.1, executed “the [manuscript day] day of November, 2014”, the same clause is also printed by EFTA00016884 and EFTA00089529. June 2017, Eva Andersson Dubin then Kathryn Ruemmler then Stephen Hanson: EFTA01266268 p.1, executed in June 2017, the same clause is also printed by EFTA00811602. Boris Nikolic: EFTA02751207 p.1 and others. Thomas Mukamal to “Farkas, Andrew L”, January 11, 2014, 2:40 p.m., forwarded by Farkas to Epstein the same day at 5:33 p.m. with the words quoted, Epstein’s reply of 4:47 p.m. and Farkas’s “Indeed.” of 21:48:54 UTC. EFTA00676655 p.1 read at the image, rendered locally at 200 dpi from a native raster of 816x1056 at 96 ppi; p.2 from the text layer, UNVERIFIED. All three quoted passages print on p.1 as given. Farkas’s message continues, “On a separate note, woody and Soon Yi had dinner last night with Richard and Karen Lefrak at my cousin Georgette’s restaurant. Small world!” Bars stand on p.1 and this page attributes nothing across any of them. The same document is cited on Paul Hoffman. Kellerhals Ferguson Kroblin PLLC of St. Thomas to “Janice E. Cole / VP Business Affairs / Island Global Yachting, Ltd.”, January 29, 2016, two sheets, “RE: IGY-AYH St. Thomas Holdings, LLC d/b/a American Yacht Harbor / Required Disclosures for Beneficial Owners”. EFTA01108795 p.1 read at the image, rendered locally at 200 dpi from a native raster of 816x1056 indexed at 96 ppi. The heading, the definition of a Beneficial Owner, the four numbered requirements quoted and the printed footnote “This would include Andrew Farkas, as the General Partner.” all print on that sheet as given. Bars stand on the sheet and this page attributes nothing across any of them. The letter is the firm’s statement of what the Economic Development Authority requires and is not itself a filing; nothing read for this page records what was filed or by whom. The second sheet is text layer, UNVERIFIED. The document is not in any register. ↩ ↩2

“TERM SHEET FOR EQUITY INVESTMENT IN AMERICAN YACHT HARBOR, ST. THOMAS, USVI”, three sheets, marked ”*** CONFIDENTIAL ***”. EFTA01084557 p.1 read at the image, rendered locally at 200 dpi from a native raster of 816x1056 greyscale at 96 ppi, so no higher rendering adds detail. The date line reads “February __, 2007” with the day left blank. The quoted passages print on that sheet as given, including the purchase price and the statement that it “represents 50% of the $25,923,569.56 paid by IGY-AYH to acquire the Property”. Printed in italics immediately beneath the Purchase Price, after the words “Please note” and a dash, is “the exact Purchase Price will be determined at closing, subject to final reconciliation of all amounts incurred by IGY in the acquisition”, which is the sheet’s own provision for the price moving before closing; this page carries that sentence and draws no further conclusion from it. The sheet also records that the price was “not intended to be legally binding on any party hereto” and that “a binding commitment … will result only upon the execution of definitive documentation”. The surname Farkas does not appear on the sheet. The remaining two sheets are text layer, UNVERIFIED. The document is not in any register. ↩ ↩2

/pdf/HOUSE_OVERSIGHT_025606.pdfdoes return HTTP 403 — a fact about that route, re-tested 2026-09-13 — and the sheet is an ordinary page image which opens and reads. Every span quoted above is exact at the image, including the space before the comma inandrew farkas ,, the full stop afterharvard, and100-200standing without a full stop. Its corpus row is a vision-model transcription of the sheet rather than an extracted text layer; the transcription and the image agree on these spans. EFTA01252008 p.2 read at the image, rendered locally at 200 dpi from a native raster of 816x1056 indexed at 96 ppi, so no higher rendering adds detail. The article’s opening direction and the quoted subdivisions print on that sheet as given, the amounts in both words and figures. Bars stand on that sheet; this page attributes nothing across any of them and names nobody from beneath one. The sheet is stamped “CONFIDENTIAL” and carries GJ_000297 and SDNY_GM_00007974 beside the production number. An earlier version of this page stated that the restated trust agreement disposes of the estate under articles that were not read at the image here and that the instruments name no beneficiary in the clear. Both statements were wrong; they are withdrawn and the correction is recorded here rather than made silently. The corresponding article of the 2012 Trust at 7 was not read at the image and nothing is said about it here. The document is not in any register. ↩ ↩2

“Farkas, Andrew L.” to Epstein,
Date: Tue, 28 Oct 2014 20:21:20 +0000, answering Epstein’s “am going for a few hours to the ocean club lemony. what should i know, what should i see, do?” of 3:32 p.m. and “how far are they from each other?” of 4:15 p.m. EFTA00682111 p.1. Epstein’s reply of 4:22 p.m., “face to face . I will return on 8 th 9, 10th”, and Farkas’s “I wish I could take you there” of 5:24 p.m. stand on EFTA00868590 p.1. Text layer, UNVERIFIED at the image. Both sheets carry bars and this page attributes nothing across any of them. Seven further documents return the same 4:21 p.m. message and were read for it; none is asserted to be a copy of another. ↩ ↩2 -
Corrected surplus for the identifier
Island Global Yachting, measured 2026-09-14 by the method at 14: FTS5pages_fts match, scoped totext_content, distinct documents, noLIMIT. The phrase returns 486 pages across 272 documents, and 159 of the 272 lie outside the union of the four name forms at 15. An earlier version of this page gave that surplus as 41. The figure does not reproduce and no alternative denominator produces it; the correction is recorded here rather than made silently, together with the stopping rule that had rested on it. Of the 159: 145 carry no form of the surname reachable by the stemsfarkorfaric; 121 are e-mail documents and 38 are not; 98 carry the phrase only inside an e-mail confidentiality disclaimer or a colleague’s signature block, and 61 carry it in the body of a message or on the face of a record. All 159 were retrieved in full from the corpus and the matched line of every one was read; the sheets separately cited in this section were opened at the image and every other is text layer, UNVERIFIED. Exactly one of the 159 was cited by the earlier version of this page, EFTA00983532 at 44. ↩ ↩2 ↩3 ↩4 -
“AMENDED AND RESTATED LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY AGREEMENT OF IGY-AYH ST. THOMAS HOLDINGS, LLC”, forty-nine sheets. EFTA01084507 p.1 read at the image, rendered locally at 200 dpi from a native raster of 816x1056 indexed at 96 ppi. The title page prints the title and the parties as quoted, and “dated as of May ___, 2007”; the day of the month is written in ink and is not resolved by this rendering, and because the native raster is 96 ppi no higher rendering adds detail, so the day is not asserted here. The draft at 27 recites both the Membership Interest Purchase Agreement and this agreement as dated May 29, 2007, which is the day of the wire at 25. Only the title page was read at the image; the remaining forty-eight sheets are text layer, UNVERIFIED. The document is not in any register. ↩

EFTA00968928 p.1 read at the image, rendered locally at 200 dpi from a native raster of 816x1056 indexed at 96 ppi; the quoted paragraph and both further sentences print on that sheet as given. Bars stand on the sheet and this page attributes nothing across any of them. Two further documents return the same passage, EFTA01083299, which carries the heading “Attorney Work Product / Draft for Discussion Purposes Only”, and EFTA01957241; neither was opened at the image and nothing here rests on either. Transaction charts sent under the subject “Deutsche Bank Production - Transaction Charts”,
Date: Tue, 13 Aug 2019 01:13:39 +0000, attaching “2019.8.12_-_Epstein_Account_Charts.docx”. EFTA00080250 pp.1, 4 and 10 read at the image, rendered locally at 200 dpi from native rasters of 816x1056 at 96 ppi. p.4 carries the heading “Exhibit C: Capitalization of Jeffrey Epstein’s Now/SuperNow Accounts” and, in its table, the row reading “5/16/2014”, “Island Global Yachting LTD”, “$292,655” and “DB-SDNY-0003833”. p.10 carries the printed footnote to that exhibit: “According to KYC records, Jeffrey Epstein used the Now/SuperNow accounts (also referred to as “Elite Checking with Interest”) for his “personal daily use.” See DB-SDNY-0002607. The attached chart reflects incoming wire transfers from Deutsche Bank brokerage accounts and accounts held at third party financial institutions. The chart does not capture internal cash transfers between Deutsche Bank deposit accounts.” Bars stand on pp.1 and 4 and this page takes nothing from beneath any of them and attributes nothing across any of them. Many other individuals and entities are named in the same exhibits and this page makes no statement about any of them. The corpus text layer renders the sender’s surname as “Al farm”; the sheet reads “Justin Alfano”, and the disagreement is declared, not repaired. A second document, EFTA00104945, returns the same exhibit and was read in the text layer only. The document is not in any register. ↩ -
“MEMORANDUM / July 17, 2015 / To: Andrew Farkas, Jeffery Epstein / From: Tom Mukamal / Cc: Frank Garrison, Eric Simonton, Kenny Jones / RE: American Yacht Harbor Asset Management Strategy”, three sheets; the second addressee’s forename is spelled “Jeffery” on the sheet and is reproduced as printed. EFTA01203353 p.1 read at the image, rendered locally at 200 dpi from a native raster of 816x1056 greyscale at 96 ppi; the addressee, sender and copy lines, the capital-spending figures and the words “at request of ownership” all print on that sheet as given. The item is listed among projects to come, not among those performed: the sheet introduces the list “With the capital intensive handrail project wrapping up focus will be shifted to the following projects during the remainder of 2015 and 2016:” and the first bulleted item is “Elevator cab refurbishment (at request of ownership)”. The corpus text layer of that sheet renders the last of those as “(at recall of onwerthip)”; the sheet reads “(at request of ownership)”, and the disagreement is declared, not repaired. These passages also print undamaged on the second sheet of the same run, which is why an exact-string check reports the pin above as wrong for each of them; the pin is to the sheet that was read. It reached Epstein as an attachment to Thomas Mukamal’s message of

EFTA00721244 p.1 read at the image, rendered locally at 200 dpi from a native raster of 816x1056 indexed at 96 ppi; Kahn’s three lines print as quoted, above Mark Lande’s forwarded message of July 21, 2016, “Please find attached the reporting for Q2 2016 for AYH.” Bars stand on the sheet and this page attributes nothing across any of them. Residue classification, 2026-09-13. The 2,011 documents were retrieved in full from the corpus and each was tested in the order of the table against the regular expressions named in its second column. The rules are disjoint in practice as well as in order: none of the 62 documents in the damaged-Andrew class also carries a Jonathan form, tested separately. By production the 2,011 are 1,216 EFTA and 38 HOUSE_OVERSIGHT in the Jonathan class, 2 DOJ-OGR in the same class, and 533 EFTA and 11 HOUSE_OVERSIGHT among the 544 that no rule assigns. The written amount reads “Fourteen Thousand and 00/100” and the figure reads $14,000.00; the corpus text layer of the same sheet renders the word “Fourteen” as “Farkas”, and the disagreement is declared, not repaired. Absence test, 2026-09-13. An earlier draft of this page asserted that neither First Amendment and Restatement had been located. That assertion was false and the searches recorded here are what falsified it:
Farkastogether withTrusteereturns 35 documents, all 35 were opened, and among them are the restatement at 32, the 2012 Trust at 7 and the draft at 30. The searches also produced the October 2013 petition thread at 34, which is a written direction to a trustee and is carried on the page rather than subtracted from it. The test that remains is narrower and is stated in its own words rather than in this page’s: the disconfirming document would be a trustee resolution, a distribution instruction, a fiduciary tax return, a filing in an estate proceeding, or a written resignation, bearing his name. Searches forFarkastogether with each ofexecutor(10 documents, all read),resignation(6, all read),resign(5, all read),probate(0) andSurrogate(1, read) returned the instruments already cited, one unrelated message, and no document of that kind;Farkastogether withTrusteereturns 35 documents and all 35 were opened, and they resolve to the instruments, the drafts, the two threads at 33 and 34, three scheduling and property-tax documents, and correspondence.
