Donald John Trump Jr. (born December 31, 1977) is an American businessman and political figure, a trustee and executive vice president of the Trump Organization and the eldest son of Donald J. Trump.1

The September 2010 invitation lists

On September 16, 2010, Epstein’s assistant Lesley Groff forwarded him an email under the subject “FW: lists from peggy,” with the note “I have printed this for you as well.”6 The message Groff forwarded had been sent to her on August 24, 2010 by another correspondent and carried two lists of names, each headed “List of people peggy invited to”; the email gives no surname for “peggy.”6 The first list, headed “William Astor’s dinner” and coded “ASTORDINNER,” runs from the first page to the twelfth.7 The heading of the second, “List of people peggy invited to Wall Street,” coded “LIWALLSTREET2,” falls at the foot of the twelfth page, and its entries run from the thirteenth page to the end of the document.8

Trump Jr.’s name appears once, on the thirty-seventh page, in the second list, given as “Donald Trump, Jr.”2 Entries in both lists are alphabetical by surname and carry strings of capitalised tags after the name; the lists do not say what the tags mean.27 Donald J. Trump has an entry on each of the two lists; Trump Jr. is on the second only.29 The document labels the two lists as lists of people invited to William Astor’s dinner and to Wall Street, and carries Epstein’s own name only in the email header.786

Mentions in Epstein’s correspondence

November 2016

On the morning of Saturday, November 12, 2016, Epstein emailed Andrew L. Farkas of Island Capital Group, “you around?”3 Farkas replied at 11:41 a.m. with an account of his weekend in which he said he was going that evening to a mixed martial arts event and named Trump Jr. and several other people he expected to be there.3 Epstein’s replies in the thread that morning concerned a different subject.10

January and February 2019

At 10:37 a.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2019, Epstein wrote to Farkas: “can we do a coffee with don jr thurs fri? , only if easy, as you know i like people that are funny.”4 The message gives no surname, and neither do the messages that follow it.411 The same correspondent had named Trump Jr. to Epstein two years earlier, and Epstein used the form “don jr” for him in messages to two other correspondents.31213 Farkas replied forty-six minutes later, “I won’t be here. Let me send you some dates,” and Epstein answered, “im back in new york 14-15.”1415 On the evening of January 29 Epstein wrote again to Farkas: “don jr dates?”11 On February 4, 2019 a calendar notification was delivered to Epstein’s own address for an entry at 8:00 a.m. that day headed “farkas don jr.”16

Political messages, 2017 and 2018

On December 3, 2017 Epstein answered a question from the writer Michael Wolff about the coming months in Washington with a short list of predictions that included, “don jr. may have an issue.”12 In an exchange with Steve Bannon on July 28, 2018 about the federal and congressional investigations then under way, Epstein wrote, “don jr was advised to take five in front of the senate , daddy said no.”13 Trump Jr. has not commented on either message in any statement recorded on this page; TIME reported on July 17, 2025 that he had for several years pressed publicly for the release of the government’s Epstein records, quoting a post of his on X of July 8, 2023: “Show us all the Epstein client list now!!! Why would anyone protect those scum bags?”17

The August 2025 tipline compilation

In August 2025 staff of the FBI’s New York Field Office circulated by email a table summarising complaints received through the bureau’s National Threat Operations Center, the FBI’s public tip line.18 The complaints in it are unverified submissions from members of the public.1920 The covering messages describe the table as “the list I sent … with names of Trump accusers from NTOC,” carry the caveat “Note: Some of these individuals are reporting second-hand information,” and record that one name had been removed “because the reporter made no specific allegations.”19 The complainants’ names are blacked out in the released copy, and one version of the table adds columns headed “Response” and “Criminal History.”2119

The final entry in both versions of the table is a first-person account by a complainant whose name is redacted, describing the sexual abuse of children at events said to have been held at Mar-a-Lago, and naming a number of public figures, Trump Jr. among them, as having been present.5 The account is not dated, and the acts it describes are attributed to Donald J. Trump; Trump Jr. is named only as one of those said to have been among the guests.5 In the version of the table that carries a “Response” column, the cell for that entry reads “No contact information provided.”2119 The Justice Department, publishing the release that contains the document on January 30, 2026, stated that “[t]his production may include fake or falsely submitted images, documents or videos, as everything that was sent to the FBI by the public was included in the production that is responsive to the Act.”20 That statement is not a response from Trump Jr.: it addressed claims made about President Trump and said nothing about the reference to Trump Jr.20 No response from Trump Jr. to the entry is recorded on this page.
