Eric Frederick Trump (born January 6, 1984) is an American businessman, a trustee and executive vice president of the Trump Organization and a son of Donald J. Trump.1 He graduated from Georgetown University in 2006 and in 2007 founded the Eric Trump Foundation, which raised money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.1 One August 2025 FBI table of public tip-line complaints, released by the Justice Department under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, includes his name, as does one unsolicited email sent to a government address in July 2020.32 Each passage cited on this page names Eric Trump himself and not another member of his family.32

The August 2025 tipline compilation

In August 2025 staff of the FBI’s New York Field Office circulated by email a table summarising complaints received through the bureau’s National Threat Operations Center, the FBI’s public tip line.4 A covering message of August 6, 2025 describes it as “the list I sent … with names of Trump accusers from NTOC,” and the message that first transmitted the table carries the note “Note: Some of these individuals are reporting second-hand information.”5 A later message in the chain says “Yellow highlighting is for the salacious piece” and records that one name had been removed from the table “because the reporter made no specific allegations.”6 The complainants’ names are blacked out in the released copy, and so are the cells in the column headed “Criminal History.”73

The final entry in the table is a first-person account, by an author whose name is redacted, alleging the sexual abuse of children.3 It names a number of public figures, Eric Trump among them, as having been present, and his name appears in the entry in no other connection.3 The FBI’s entry in the “Response” column for that complaint reads, in full, “No contact information provided.”3 A second version of the same table later in the email chain indexes the entry under a column headed “Notable Names,” in which his name is one of those listed.5

The entry is an unverified submission from a member of the public, and the covering messages that transmitted the table say that some of the people in it are relaying second-hand information.45 No response from Eric Trump to the entry is recorded on this page. Publishing the release that contains the document on January 30, 2026, the Justice Department warned that it may include fake or falsely submitted material, because everything the public sent the FBI was included.8 The rest of that statement addressed claims made about President Trump and said nothing about the reference to Eric Trump.8

The July 2020 email

On July 22, 2020 an unsolicited email was sent to a government address and forwarded on within the receiving office the same morning under the note “Another one.”2 The sender’s name is redacted in the released copy.2 The message asserts criminal conduct by a number of named public figures, Eric Trump among them.2 It is an unverified submission from a member of the public, and the document carries no assessment of the account.2 No response from Eric Trump to it is recorded on this page.
