Eva Andersson-Dubin (born Eva Birgitta Andersson) is a physician and the founder of the Dubin Breast Center at Mount Sinai in New York.28 She testified at Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial in 2021 that she and Jeffrey Epstein “dated off and on from the start of 1983” until “approximately 1990, 1991” and remained friends afterwards; in 1994 she married the hedge-fund manager Glenn Dubin, whom Epstein testified she had introduced to him.110
What the released files show, once they are searched under the form the correspondents actually used, is a relationship far larger and far more operational than a social friendship. Under eighty-nine search forms in all, of which fifteen are written forms of her name and her e-mail addresses, sixty-eight are damaged, truncated and variant spellings recovered from the search index itself, and six were generated by single-character substitution, the release holds 7,086 documents; of the 7,019 of those that have been classified she is the sender named in the first sheet’s From field on 2,942 and a named recipient on a further 2,252.56 The dated traffic runs from 2008 to June 2019, peaks in 2012, and is continuous through the eleven years following his Florida conviction; one document is dated 2002 and seven fall after 2019.6
Across that correspondence she acted as Epstein’s private physician of first resort. He asked her to telephone prescriptions in to his pharmacies and she asked back where to call them in and at what dose; she told him what antibiotic to take and for how long; she wrote that she had his Adderall and antibiotics and asked when to drop them off, and he answered “yes”; she supplied lists of specialists for him and for people he sent to her; and in 2017, asked to find someone who could build “a fully equipped emergency room” on his island, she named two doctors, one of whom Epstein’s office wrote to about an EKG machine for the island two years later.11121314151617 She also refused at least once, telling him she had “no clue about dosage” and to ask another doctor.18
On 16 November 2009, while Epstein was under community control in Florida under his 2008 plea, she and her husband wrote jointly to his supervising probation officer: “I am aware that Jeffrey Epstein is a registered sex offender and had plead guilty to soliciting for prostitution, and procuring a minor for prostitution. I am 100% comfortable with Jeffrey Epstein around my children.”19 Nine months later she invited him to visit the following week, when her teenage daughter would have five friends over.20
Epstein’s estate instruments named her from his trust agreement of November 8, 2001 to his will of June 29, 2017.34 They named her daughter for very much more. Under the amendment and restatement of his 2014 Trust, dated May 1, 2015, Celina Edith Dubin was to receive his Paris apartments, his Manhattan house at 9 East 71st Street, Little St. James and Zorro Ranch, with twenty million dollars to run them, and one hundred per cent of the balance of the trust estate; Andersson-Dubin herself stood behind her daughter as the substitute taker, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology behind them both.21 The 2019 Trust, made less than seven months before his death, kept the daughter in for Zorro Ranch and both St. James islands.22
Called by the defense at Maxwell’s trial on December 17, 2021, she denied taking part in any group sexual encounter with the witness the court called “Jane.”1
How this page was searched, and what it cost not to
This page was rewritten in September 2026 after a check of its search forms. The earlier version was built on the hyphenated professional name. That form returns 184 documents. The familiar form the correspondents themselves used returns 6,251.5 The page had been written against roughly three per cent of its own evidence base.
The forms run, and what each returned as documents:

Forms that returned nothing, which is evidence about the corpus and not about the subject: edubin returned 1 document and eandersson, dubineva, glenndubin, megadubin, megaeva, evamega and drevadubin returned none. "Eva Andersen" and "Eva A. Dubin" returned none. "Eva A." returns 55 documents and was excluded: a sample of six found five homographs (Get Eva a 10k gift certificate; a deposition line reading and Eva | A. Yes) and it is not a name form.
The damaged forms came from a prefix enumeration of the search index over dubin, evadub, evaduh, andersso and cvadubin, which returned 58, 25, 0, 10 and 0 distinct terms respectively. Twenty-five of the evadub terms are corruptions of her address; several dubin-prefix terms are her name and address run together by the extraction. Thirty-nine of those terms were carried into the union and added 11 documents. Six single-edit forms of "Eva Dubin" generated by substitution (va Dubin, Ev Dubin, Eva ubin, Eva DDubin, Eva Dubln, Eva Dubi) added a further 58, of which "Eva Dubi" alone accounts for 56; eight of that form were read in context and eight of eight are her, with the trailing letter clipped by the extraction.
A substitution table cannot produce an insertion, and that is why the earlier figure on this page was short by at least sixty-seven documents. The thirty-nine damaged forms and the six single-edit forms above were all built by replacing one character with another. Three of the commonest ways a name comes out differently replace nothing: a possessive or a plural inserts a letter, a truncation deletes one, and a typist transposes two. "Eva Dubins", the possessive written without its apostrophe, returns 7 documents and all seven lie outside the earlier union, and no substitution of "Eva Dubin" reaches it. The apostrophe form does not escape, and the reason is worth stating because it is what makes the gap so narrow: the index splits Eva Dubin's into three tokens, so the phrase "Eva Dubin" already matches it, and "Eva Dubin s" returns 50 documents every one of which was already counted. Only the apostrophe-less form gets out.
The sweep for that class was run against the index rather than against a generated list. fts5vocab was enumerated over 1,360 prefix ranges, 124,366 index terms were read, and every term within a Damerau-Levenshtein distance of 2 of dubin, dubins, andersson, anderson, evadubin, anderssondubin, birgitta or dubinandco was kept, over a length window running from the target’s length minus two to its length plus three. That produced 4,159 candidate strings, 974 of them against the name targets. Every candidate reaching a document outside the union was then read in that document. A prefix sweep produces strings, not findings, and most of these are other people; the forms carried into the union, and the forms rejected, are both listed below.

The three ways an enumeration of this kind is known to fail were each tested, and each one caught something. Length: dubinaa, dubinci and dubincj are two characters longer than dubin, and a window of plus or minus one would not have reached them. Query shape: the bare token and the phrase disagree, and in both directions. The bare token andersso reaches 12 documents outside the earlier union, two of which are a different person, Christina Andersson; the phrase "Eva Andersso" reaches 10 and all ten are hers. Conversely the phrase "Eva Dubins" reaches 7 and all seven are hers, while the bare token dubins reaches 162 documents, 142 of them outside even the enlarged union, and a sample of those finds her husband, so dubins is a homograph and is not counted. The document’s own author: two forms here were typed by the people writing the documents, not produced by a scanner. Epstein’s office headed messages Eva Anderssen, the Danish spelling of the Swedish surname, in 8 documents, all eight outside the earlier union, one of them recording that Rinaldo Rizzo “works for Eva Anderssen”; and an FBI interview record writes EVA DUBAN. No enumeration of OCR corruptions generates either, because neither is a corruption.
Forms read and rejected, because a form that fails is evidence about the corpus. andreasson (53 documents) is not a damaged Andersson: it is a different family, her own family friends Anita, Dan and Inger Andreasson, and in other documents it is how the extraction renders Marc Andreessen. andresson (12) is Epstein’s own spelling of Andreessen, and a second person. dubinsky (24) is Donna Dubinsky, Andrew Dubinsky and a reported case. Five of the ten dubina documents are a judge of the Eleventh Circuit; twenty-one of the twenty-three dubia documents are Dubai. duhin (5) and dusin (3) are her husband and his firm, not her. oubien (2) is French-language court boilerplate. dubinandeo (1) is a member of the office staff’s own e-mail address, not hers. Two of the three anderss documents are a courier record addressed to her children.
Forms tried that returned nothing at all: "Andersson Dubins", "Andersson-Dubins", evadubins, "Eva Dubinn", "Eva Duubin", "Eva Dubbin", "Evaa Dubin", "Eeva Dubin", "Eva Dubiin", "Dubins Eva", "Dr Dubins", "Mrs Dubins", anderssonn, "Eva Anderssonn", "Eva Dubn", "Eva Dbin", "Eva Duin", anderssn, "Eva Andrsson", "Eva Dubni", "Eva Dbuin", "Eva Udbin", "Eva Duibn", "Eva Andresson", "Eva Anderssno", "Eva Andesrson", "Eva Andreson", anderssno, andesrson, "Eva Andreasson", "Aev Dubin", "Eav Dubin", "Eva Dublin", "Eva Durbin", "Eva Rubin", "Eva Lubin", "Eva Andersen", "Eva Andersan", "Eva Dubine", "Eva Duben", "Eva Anderrson", "Eva Du bin", "Eva Ander sson", "Eva AnderssonDubin", evaanderssondubin, "E va Dubin" and "Ev a Dubin". Each of those is a form a reader might reasonably expect to work, and each returns zero from the index on the query shape shown. That is a statement about the form and the index, not about the world: a document could carry any of them in handwriting, across a line break, or split by a producer’s bar, and no query of this kind would reach it.
This is a floor and not a population, and the bounds are these. It covers the personal-name and personal-address forms above. It does not cover: traffic reaching her through her husband’s office or her assistant, which runs under "Allison Yorke" (277 documents) and "Amanda D Cruz" (151); traffic about her institution, which runs under "Dubin Breast Center" (500) and dubinbreastcenter (23); her daughter’s own name, "Celina Dubin" (5) and "Celina Edith Dubin" (2); or the surname alone, dubin, which returns 8,604 documents, of which 2,054 fall outside this union, while 536 documents in the union fall outside the dubin token entirely. Those two figures moved in opposite directions when the sweep above was added, and one item explains both: of the 67 documents carried in, 3 carry the dubin token and 64 do not, so the outside-dubin residue fell by 3 (2,057 to 2,054) while the union’s own non-dubin share rose by 64 (472 to 536). A sample of thirty of the residue read as her husband, the breast centre, an unrelated firm trading as Dubin & Co, LLC, and an airline booking record; none was her under a form not already counted, but thirty of 2,054 is a sample and not a clearance.
And the largest single gap this page knows about is not closed. Epstein and his office wrote her forename in the possessive without an apostrophe, as evas: “evas house for dinner”, “evas plane”, “evas kids”, “evas breast center mount sinai”. That token returns 257 documents, 233 of them outside even the enlarged union. It is not counted here, and the reason is a homograph the subject matter itself creates: EVAS is also the Emergency Vision Assurance System, a fitting on the aircraft whose maintenance records fill this release. A random sample of thirty of the 233 reads twenty-four as her and six as the aircraft system or as unreadable scanning noise. So the true figure is materially above 7,086. Settling it means reading 233 documents, not running another query, and that reading has not been done.
The count stops being a measurement at five named places. One: the FBI spells her “Eva Anderson” in one official record and “EVA DUBAN” in another, and Epstein’s own office spelt her “Eva Anderssen”; an author’s own misspelling is inside the corpus and no substitution table generates it from the correct form.232425 Two: a passenger manifest lists her as ANDERSSON, EVA BIRGITTA, a legal form that appears in exactly one document and which no name-form check starting from “Eva Dubin” or “Eva Andersson-Dubin” would ever produce.26 Three: handwriting is invisible to the index entirely; the twin of that same manifest carries a manuscript annotation that appears in no search of any kind.27 Four: neither index enumeration covered the whole index. The first ran over five prefixes; the second over 1,360 prefix ranges, and its ranges were built by applying a single edit to the head of each target name, so a form whose first three or four characters carry two errors at once was never in a range that was read. A whole-index scan was measured rather than assumed unavailable: the terms beginning with the letter d alone number 260,467 and took 390 seconds to read, which puts the full index of about 12.1 million terms at roughly five hours, and no pass here has that. Five: the possessive of her forename, evas, is 233 documents outside this union and is described above; it is a measured gap, not an unknown one.
Background
She testified that she attended medical school at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and then at UCLA, completed a residency in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, worked as an internist, and was not employed as a physician at the time she testified in 2021.1 The Wall Street Journal described her in 2011 as “a former Miss Sweden and model for the Ford agency” who “left the glamorous life to attend medical school”, in a piece marking the opening of the Dubin Breast Center at the Mount Sinai Medical Center.28 Mount Sinai mailings sign her name as the center’s founder.2 Vanity Fair reported in March 2003 that Epstein remained close to two former girlfriends, describing her as “a doctor and onetime model”.29
James Patterson’s Filthy Rich, a copy of which sits in the House Oversight production, gives her a chapter of its own, headed “Eva Andersson: July 8, 1980” and opening at the twenty-ninth Miss Universe pageant in Seoul: “Miss Sweden, Eva Birgitta Andersson, is wearing a dazzling white gown and sweating, ever so slightly, under the stage lights.”30
Her legal name is given as EVA BIRGITTA ANDERSSON-DUBIN in the JPMorgan Chase suspicious activity report and as ANDERSSON, EVA BIRGITTA on a 2012 passenger manifest.826 Her e-mail address through the whole of the correspondence to about 2016 was [email protected], which is one of the search forms this page is built on; from 2016 she used an address at her husband’s family office, and appended to her messages for the next three years the line “Please note, my email address has changed to” with the new value.1131
Relationship with Epstein
Andersson-Dubin testified that she and Epstein dated from 1983 until about 1990 or 1991, that they remained friends, and that she flew on aircraft he owned or controlled both while they were dating and afterwards.1 Epstein testified in April 2011 that he met Dubin about eighteen years earlier as the fiancé of a former girlfriend, that Eva Andersson introduced them, that he attended their wedding, and that Andersson-Dubin was “a very good friend”; asked to distinguish her from her husband he said, “She’s my ex-girlfriend. That’s probably a little different relationship.”10 In a November 2011 email to Boris Nikolic he described her as a former Miss Sweden and wrote, “we were together for ten years.”32
Epstein’s Palm Beach house manager Juan Alessi, cross-examined at Maxwell’s trial, agreed that Andersson-Dubin had stayed friends with Epstein for many years and that she came to the house regularly, with her family.33 Flight records put to her on direct examination listed her on Epstein’s aircraft in entries the examination dated to 1994, November 1995, August 1997 and May 1998; she said of each that she did not remember the flight.1
In March 2011 a correspondent whose sender value the producing party bars, and who signs the body “Thanks Jonathan”, wrote to Epstein with advice on rehabilitating his reputation. The sheet prints: “You are in the PR penalty box using a hockey term.Do your penalty and make a plan for inner city kids for science and a million to a Chicago inner city school wouldn’t hurt either. You can figure that out.Keep Ghislaine close you need her now.I would use Dr.Eva as the person who gives the checks to the schools in your name she is a Dr. a wife and a mother.”34
The correspondence
Its shape
The census below was computed on the union as it stood before the insertion sweep, which held 7,019 documents, and it is reported against that population and not against the 7,086. The sixty-seven documents added by the sweep have not been put through the classifier, because the classifier’s rule is published but its tolerance for corrupted field labels is not specified closely enough for a second implementation to land on the same numbers, and a census that cannot be re-derived is worse than one whose population is stated. Classifying each of the 7,019 by the From field on its own first sheet gives:
| documents | |
|---|---|
| her name in the sender field | 2,942 |
| her name in the recipient line, not the sender field | 2,252 |
| a header, neither field carrying her name | 1,569 |
| no sender field on the first sheet | 256 |
A sample of fourteen of the 2,942 was read in full: fourteen of fourteen are her, writing to Epstein or to his office. A sample of fourteen of the 1,569 was also read: they are Epstein-side staff traffic that names her, plus documents where the extraction stacks the header labels apart from their values so the classifier reads the label Sent: as a sender. The 2,942 is therefore a floor on her own authorship and the 1,569 contains further messages addressed to her that this method cannot see. The four buckets sum to 7,019, which is the classified population and not the floor.6
Dating each document from the header on its first sheet gives the year distribution: 2002 (1), 2008 (11), 2009 (110), 2010 (408), 2011 (700), 2012 (1,064), 2013 (707), 2014 (635), 2015 (835), 2016 (725), 2017 (371), 2018 (273), 2019 (47), and seven later; 1,125 documents carry no header date on the first sheet. Those figures sum to 7,019, the classified population.6
Its content
The traffic is domestic and near-daily. Typical entries: “are you ok?” and his reply “greagt”; “I tried your house and cell”; “still at home”; “Island ?”; “all ok?”; an address change; a link to a Zillow listing; a photograph of a new helicopter; muffins delivered to her doorman.35
A few carry more.
The earliest direct exchange in the release is a thread of July 2 to 5, 2008, days after Epstein was sentenced and jailed under his Florida plea, in which she wrote “Thinking about you a lot. Hope you are OK” and he replied in a message whose own title line begins “Joe is sitting here in my cell with me”, the header’s subject field reading only “Re:”.3637
In August 2014 a member of Epstein’s office staff wrote to a job applicant that “Jeffrey Epstein received your name and CV from Eva Dubin regarding an assistant position” and asked her to come and meet him.38 In August 2016 Epstein’s assistant Lesley Groff asked Andersson-Dubin to telephone a doctor on Epstein’s behalf to bring forward appointments for two members of his staff.39
The latest is a one-word reply of June 16, 2019, sent from her family-office address.40 On January 20, 2019 she asked him for a tail number and a fixed-base operator, and invited him to a birthday dinner at their house that night.41
Medicine
Calling in prescriptions
On the evening of Friday 9 September 2011 Epstein wrote to her at [email protected]: “You didn’t callin prescription at Duane read? Can you tonight”. She answered: “I am so sorry / I never heard from Sue with the phonenumber…and then my alzheimer kick=d in…where do I call it in??? 10 mg right???” The same message continues, in her own words: “Riverdale ( all jewish boys) are winning over Yonkers ( all schwartzes) 39 =o 6!!!!!”11
On 6 October 2011 she wrote to him: “Cipro and Flagyl for 10 days and a liquid diet.” He forwarded it the same day to a recipient whose name the sheet bars, with the direction “please give prescription to sarah.. .”12
On 7 September 2012 she wrote: “I have the adderall and antibiotics. Can I drop it off tomorrow?” He replied: “yes”.13
On 3 December 2013, asked whether a prescription could be collected from the pharmacy Epstein used, she answered “yes”.42
On 30 October 2014 he asked her to “call in calcitonin prescription at greens”. She declined: ”??? / Who prescribes this for y=u?? Mechanic?? / I have no clue about dosage…Maybe ask Moscowitz…?”18
On 11 August 2015 he asked her the name of a steroid cream and whether it was prescription; she asked what for, he told her, and she replied that she would email it when she got home, adding “At the doctors now”.43
On 28 November 2017 Lesley Groff wrote to Andersson-Dubin’s assistant at the family office: “Hi Allison…Jeffrey is asking if Eva could get 2 or 3 Ambien for one of Jeffrey’s assistants, ▮…he says she is in need of sleep… Could you pass this along to her? I know you said she is in a meeting….but after her meeting?” The assistant answered “No problem, I will pass along to her.” Groff replied “super! thanks”. The following morning Groff wrote again to ask whether the request had been met. Andersson-Dubin’s assistant answered: “Hi! Sorry I didn’t respond to you with an update because Eva said yesterday that she reached out to Jeffrey to let him know that she doesn’t have any ambien.” The request was not met. What the thread records is the answer at one remove, her assistant reporting to Epstein’s assistant that Andersson-Dubin had said she contacted Epstein directly to tell him she had none. It is the second request of this kind in this section that went unfilled, beside the calcitonin exchange, where she declined outright.44
Referrals
On 23 June 2011 Epstein asked her who a woman whose name the sheet bars should call about a bunion. She sent back a list of six doctors with a line of assessment on each. The sheet prints: “Dr. Louis Galli ▮ - He takes care of all the rockets. He doesn’t take insurance if I remember correctly.”; “Dr. Rock Positano ▮ - Podiatrist to the stars. He is probably a rip off, but this is who a lot of people use. Good friend of Kruger, I think.”; and two Mount Sinai doctors with a note on which insurers each accepts. She closed: “She should try to make an appointment on her own, but if she has a difficult time let me know and I will intervene.”14
“Kruger” is Bernard Kruger, another physician in Epstein’s circle who has his own page here.
In August 2016 Groff wrote to two people whose names the sheet bars that “Jeffrey would like you both to see Dr. Cahill”, gave the appointment times and the address, and added “Eva Andersson is trying to help”.45 Groff’s follow-up to Andersson-Dubin the same week asked her to telephone the doctor to bring the appointments forward.39
On 8 and 9 April 2019, three months before Epstein’s arrest, the same channel ran again. Epstein asked his office for doctors for someone; the request went to Andersson-Dubin; and her assistant sent Groff the contact details of the doctors she had named, with their street addresses.46
The island
On Sunday 19 March 2017 Karyna Shuliak wrote to Andersson-Dubin, copying Epstein, under the subject line “Emergency room for the island”:
Hi Eva!
Hope you are well and enjoying the weekend.
Eva, we need your help please… Jeffrey would like to have a fully equipped=emergency room on his island. I wanted to ask if you might think of a perso=/people who might be able to help us to do this right? Please let me know what you think…15
Andersson-Dubin answered the next morning: “Let me think about it… / Maybe we should discuss over the phone…” She was replying to Shuliak’s suggestion that “Probably better if someone flies down there to get a better understanding” of what was needed.47 A month later Shuliak asked again, this time to her family-office address. On 19 April 2017 Andersson-Dubin replied, over a subject line the sheet prints as “Re: Emergency room for Jeffrey’sisland”: “I think Rony would be the best…”16 Shuliak thanked her that evening, and in the early hours of 20 April she added a second name: “I will brainstorm with Rony…and Jeff Port…”48
The room was built, and the doctor she named was asked to equip it. By May 2019 the island’s own maintenance schedules carry an Emergency Room as a named location with line items against it for wifi, a computer, a fax and a phone, and a punch list of that month records “Emergency room Upgrades (oxigyn. telemedicine, EKG. Computer. Wifi)” among the works Epstein had asked to have listed.49 The 2019 punch list headed “JEFFREY’S PRIORITIES” puts “Emergency Room-EKG Machine” at item 7.50
On 23 May 2019, six weeks before Epstein’s arrest, Lesley Groff wrote to Dr. Rony Shimony, Director of Clinical Cardiology at Mount Sinai West and an associate professor at the Icahn School of Medicine. She told him Epstein wished to buy an electrocardiograph for the island and asked him to suggest a good one, adding a parenthesis distinguishing domestic from island use. Shimony replied the same evening, apologising for the delay, proposing that they speak the next day and offering to help with the choice once he understood what was required; he asked to be telephoned after ten.17 The following morning Groff withdrew the request: “I have learned that Jeffrey already knows what he wants to purchase!…so never mind! If we wind up having any questions, I will circle back.”51
Two years and one month separate her naming “Rony” from Epstein’s office writing to Rony Shimony about equipment for the island. Nothing read for this page states that she made the introduction, and this page does not assert that she did. The second name she gave, “Jeff Port”, corresponds to Dr. Jeffrey L. Port, a thoracic surgeon who appears in the release in his own right.
After the 2008 conviction
The letter to the probation officer
By November 2009 Epstein was serving the community-control term imposed under his 2008 plea, supervised by the Florida Department of Corrections. On Monday 16 November 2009 Andersson-Dubin sent an e-mail to his supervising officer, Carmen Sloane of the Florida Department of Corrections. The sheet prints it in full:
Dear Officer Sloane,
We are the parents of three children [three name runs, not legible on this sheet]. They are all under the age of 18. I am aware that Jeffrey Epstein is a registered sex offender and had plead guilty to soliciting for prostitution, and procuring a minor for prostitution. I am 100% comfortable with Jeffrey Epstein around my children. I, Eva Dubin, am an internist, and have known Jeffrey for over 20 years. Please feel free to contact us at [telephone value, not reproduced by this page].
Sincerely,
Eva and Glenn Dubin19
A week later, on 23 November 2009, the same officer logged that Andersson-Dubin had emailed to say she would be visiting Epstein over the Thanksgiving holiday, that he telephoned her to make sure she was aware of the charges against him and of a special condition of his supervision, that she gave him an assurance about the terms of the visit, and that the visit was approved.52 The New York Times reported in 2019 that Epstein joined the Dubins for Thanksgiving at their Palm Beach home that year, citing the email she sent the probation officer.53

On 13 August 2010 Epstein sent her a photograph. She asked “who is this??????”; he answered “My new heli”; she answered “beautiful!!!” The next morning he wrote that he was at the ranch. Her reply, in full:
come and visit next week. Celina will have 5 friends over.20
The invitation is nine months after the letter in which the Dubins told Epstein’s probation officer that all three of their children were under the age of 18.
The coat rack
In May 2011 Amanda D’Cruz, of the Dubin family office, asked Lesley Groff whether Epstein had bought a coat rack for the Dubin Breast Center and was dropping it off. Groff put it to Epstein; he answered “we have it already,, talk to sue”.54 On 17 May Andersson-Dubin sent Groff delivery instructions for the centre and said she would be there between one and three.55 Groff instructed Epstein’s chauffeur Luciano “Jojo” Fontanilla to deliver it in that window.56 On 18 May she wrote to Epstein: “We got the coat rack yesterday. It is sitting in the entrance of the Dubin Breast Center and it looks amazing!!!! Thank you soooo very much.”57
The same chauffeur, “Jojo”, appears in the ground-transport section of the 2012 crew briefing below.26
The Dubin Breast Center and Epstein’s money
The Dubin Breast Center at the Tisch Cancer Institute, Mount Sinai, opened in 2011. It is named for the family and she is its founder.228 Five hundred documents in the release carry its name.5
Epstein’s United States Virgin Islands foundation, incorporated in 2000 as J. Epstein Virgin Islands Foundation, Inc. and trading as Enhanced Education, with Epstein, Darren Indyke and Erika Kellerhals as its three trustees and officers, listed the Dubin Breast Center at $125,000 in its summary schedule of grants over the preceding three years, alongside Columbia’s Mailman School at $100,000 and Bard High School Early College at $125,000.58
Beyond the foundation, the giving ran through his personal staff. In April 2013 an assistant told him “Check for $50,000 to Dubin Breast center was recd!”59 Epstein’s accountant Richard Kahn handled the centre’s annual luncheon and gala purchases; in September 2016 Kahn wrote that “per eva we sent our check to: Mt Sinai Development”, and in June 2017 he asked Epstein to “advise if you would like gratitude to be placed on donor wall” and what it should read.6061 A 2014 office day sheet records “Dubin Breast Ctr ‘Fact vs Fiction’ Luncheon, 320 Park Ave, 35th Flr … Jeffrey bought 5 tables of 10.”62
The centre’s own reply cards, of which the release holds several, price a table at the annual gala at $100,000, $50,000 or $25,000, each tier carrying a listing on the Dubin Breast Center donor walls.63
Epstein’s estate documents
Epstein’s trusts and wills named Andersson-Dubin, not her husband, in beneficiary and fiduciary roles between 2001 and 2017. They named her daughter for very much more.
The instruments naming her
The Jeffrey E. Epstein 2001 Trust One, a trust agreement dated November 8, 2001 and signed by Epstein as grantor and by him and Jeffrey A. Schantz as trustees, directed that one of Epstein’s residential properties be distributed to her at his death, and that if he left no spouse or issue the balance be held for Ghislaine Maxwell for life and then for Andersson-Dubin for life. In the copy in the release the trust agreement is preceded by an amendment executed on June 27, 2003, which changed the trustees and did not alter those provisions.3
Epstein designated her and Abigail Wexner as successor trustees of his 2007 insurance trust, and signed an instrument revoking both designations in December 2012.64
The Jeffrey E. Epstein 2017 Trust, dated January 30, 2017, names her as one of three trustees with Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn. In the released copy Epstein, Indyke and Kahn signed and dated the instrument on January 30, 2017 and the acknowledgments of Indyke and Kahn were notarised that day; her signature line, her date line and her acknowledgment block are blank.65
Epstein’s will of June 29, 2017 appoints Indyke, Kahn and Terje Rod-Larsen executors and provides: “If any one or more of my Executors fails to qualify, is unable or unwilling to serve or ceases to act, I appoint EVA ANDERSSON DUBIN, as successor Executor, followed by KATHRYN RUEMMLER, as successor Executor, followed by STEPHEN HANSON, as successor Executor.” The first page of the copy in the release carries the word “REVOKED” written across it by hand.4
A will referring to a trust dated January 18, 2019 names Kathryn Ruemmler as sole successor executor, and the will of August 8, 2019 annexed to the executors’ petition for probate names Boris Nikolic; neither names her.6667
The instruments naming her daughter
The amendment and restatement of The Jeffrey E. Epstein 2014 Trust, dated May 1, 2015, runs to a numbered list of specific gifts. Four of them, items 27 through 30, go to CELINA EDITH DUBIN, if she survives me, each in a separate residence trust giving her the right to occupy the property for her lifetime:
- Epstein’s interest in the apartments at 22 Avenue Foch, 75016, Paris, held through the French company SCI JEP, with $1,000,000 for operating expenses;
- his interest in 9 East 71st Street, New York, New York 10021, held through Maple, Inc., with $4,000,000;
- his interest in Little St. James Island, held through Nautilus, Inc. and L.S.J., LLC, with $10,000,000;
- his interest in Zorro Ranch, 49 Zorro Ranch Road, Stanley, New Mexico 87056, held through Cypress, Inc., with $5,000,000.
Section 2.4 of the same instrument then disposes of everything left over. It reads, in three lettered paragraphs: one hundred per cent to CELINA EDITH DUBIN if she survives him; if she does not, one hundred per cent to EVA ANDERSSON DUBIN if she survives him; and if she does not, one hundred per cent to the Board of Trustees of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, to be entered on MIT’s books as an endowed fund called “THE JEFFREY E. EPSTEIN FUND” providing financial aid to MIT students.21
The Jeffrey E. Epstein 2019 Trust, dated January 18, 2019, keeps her in. At item 40 it gives Celina Edith Dubin, again in separate trust, Epstein’s interests in Zorro Ranch, in Little St. James and in Great St. James; at item 41 it gives her $10,000,000 for their operating expenses; and at items 42 and 43 it makes her the substitute taker of the Paris and Florida properties and of a further $10,000,000, should the first-named beneficiary not survive him.22
Epstein corresponded with her directly. In May 2012 she wrote to him “Sounds like a plan. I’m a vegetarian though. Should I start eating meat again?”; he replied “You decide on what makes you feel , think - better. veg and fruits were not part of a Jcws diet . No fruit in desert .” She answered, “Ok I might start eating chicken again”.68
In November 2018, eight months before Epstein’s death, Deutsche Bank’s anti-money-laundering compliance unit at 60 Wall Street was working on his insurance trust, and Celina Dubin was the name on the file. On the morning of Friday 16 November, Yoonsun Chung, a vice-president in AML Compliance, wrote to a colleague, copying another, under the classification “For internal use only”: “Please see below. It looks like the brother is the current beneficiary.” The message continues: “We need to remove Celina as the ben and add the brother. Can you do this or do you want me to reject it back to India? Or if you have all the info, I can ask someone in Jax to do it so we can approve today?” Two minutes later Stewart Oldfield answered: “There are later amendments that remove the original bens and name Celina”. The sheet’s closing paragraph records that Article First(a) of the instrument identified Epstein’s brother, Mark Lawrence Epstein, as the person who could benefit during Epstein’s lifetime, and that a 2012 change-of-beneficiaries document had amended the provision governing who took on the grantor’s death.69
The day before, the same officers had put the question in terms: whether “Celina gets it after the grantor’s death”, and what the trust was worth in the meantime. One of them answered that the value “only comes when the grantor dies and the life insurance pays out. But in the meantime, we have $276.65 sitting in cash …”70
In November 2020 the Attorney General of the United States Virgin Islands, then prosecuting a racketeering action against the Epstein estate, subpoenaed Glenn Dubin. A federal daily news digest in the release reproduces the New York Post’s report of it: the subpoena sought “all documents and communications related to any of your three children, Maye, Celina or Jordan, which also relate in any way to Jeffrey Epstein or any Epstein entity.” The same report stated, attributing the claim to sources cited by Business Insider and to the Palm Beach Post, that Epstein “had openly declared his plans to marry Celina Dubin” and that the two “developed ‘an especially close relationship’ when Celina was 12”. Those are press claims, not documents, and nothing read for this page corroborates them.71
Named in bank and law-enforcement records
- Deutsche Bank, associates search. A page of a Deutsche Bank background record produced to the Southern District of New York under the Maxwell grand-jury Bates series, and stamped “CONFIDENTIAL - PURSUANT TO FED. R. CRIM. P. 6(e)”, carries a section listing twenty-five associated persons. Its Full Name column prints a run of alias forms for her: the surname spelled with one
sand with two, a variant first name, the compound with and without its hyphen, the inversion that puts the surname before the forename, and one string in which her husband’s firm’s name has run into the surname. Of the six columns on the table, only the two at the left carry printed values on this sheet.7 - JPMorgan Chase, suspicious activity report. JPMorgan Chase Bank NA and JP Morgan Securities LLC filed a report covering 4,725 wire transactions totalling $1,081,819,653 between 10/01/2003 and 07/22/2019. The report names a list of persons and entities whose transactions it covers, beginning with Epstein and including several the sheet withholds; EVA BIRGITTA ANDERSSON-DUBIN and GLENN RUSSELL DUBIN are both on the list, as are Ghislaine Maxwell, Karyna Shuliak, Alan Morton Dershowitz, Leon D Black and the Epstein trusts and corporate vehicles. The stated grounds are “wire activity consistent with negative media involving alleged sex trafficking of minors and allegations that EPSTEIN misappropriated funds while employed as a money manager; the use of multiple accounts; the high risk jurisdiction of the Russian Federation; and politically exposed person EPSTEIN, due to his relationships with two US presidents.” A bank’s filing is not a finding about anyone named in it.8
- A federal list of Maxwell associates, 10 December 2019. A law-enforcement product circulated five months after Epstein’s death and seven months before Maxwell’s arrest, its paragraphs marked (U//FOUO). Its author tells the recipients that what follows answers a list of names they had supplied, and that open sources were used to distinguish individuals of the same name. At least ten numbered entries follow. Item 3 is Glenn Dubin and item 4 is Eva Anderson Dubin; both names are unbarred, and the four bullet points beneath each of them are barred. The sheet carries no sender or recipient line.9
- FBI, 14 January 2020. An FD-302 records a telephone interview of the attorney Brad Edwards on 1 November 2019. Edwards told the interviewing agent that a person who might be useful for the government to interview was Rinaldo Rizzo, who “used to be a butler for Glen Dubin and Eva Anderson”, that he had deposed Rizzo “as part of a MAXWELL lawsuit”, that the deposition was under seal, and that an interview “would be fruitful”. The sheet gives Rizzo’s attorney’s name.23
- Prosecutors’ witness list. An investigative schedule headed “People with Information Regarding Crimes Committed Outside Florida and Not Covered by the NPA” lists, after a run of withheld entries, “Rinaldo Rizzo (New York)” with the line beneath it reading “Former Employee of Glenn Dubin with knowledge of Epstein underage activity”, followed by Epstein’s former bodyguard, three of his former chefs, and two people the schedule marks as having knowledge of crimes relating to MC2 Modeling Agency.72
Rizzo was deposed under subpoena in Giuffre v. Maxwell on 10 June 2016 at the offices of Boies Schiller & Flexner in Armonk, New York. In the excerpt in the release he agrees, in answer to cross-examination, that he had been fired abruptly, that he retained counsel and sued the Dubins and their entity in 2013, and that he did not tell anyone in that litigation about the interactions with Epstein he had described in the deposition.73
Aircraft
A crew briefing for a Global 5000 registered N343DF records three legs on 30 and 31 March 2012: White Plains to West Palm Beach on the Friday with three passengers, then West Palm Beach to Raleigh-Durham and Raleigh-Durham back to White Plains on the Saturday with seven. The passenger block lists ten rows, seven of which are withheld. Row 1 is EPSTEIN, JEFFREY, marked for the first leg only. Row 3 is SHULIAK, KARYNA. Row 5 is ANDERSSON, EVA BIRGITTA, marked for the second and third legs. The passenger notes carry, against row 5, the words “DUAL citizenship =” followed by a withheld value; against row 8, a note recording a new nanny and, on the line beneath it, a note recording a minor described as the friend of a withheld name. Whether that second line belongs to row 8 or stands as a separate note cannot be told from the sheet, and this page resolves it neither way. The ground-transport section records that the Raleigh-Durham leg was for a tour of Duke University’s West Campus, that a seven-seat vehicle was delivered to the fixed-base operator for Glenn, and that the White Plains pickup was driven by “Epstein chauffeur ‘Jojo’”.26
A second, partial copy of the same briefing in the House Oversight production carries neither the passenger block nor the notes. It carries instead a manuscript annotation in ink across the leg table, reading JEFFREY ON FIRST LEG OF TRIP ONLY!, and a hand-drawn cross through the second and third legs.27
Named in the Giuffre records
The FBI’s report of its March 17, 2011 interview of Virginia Giuffre records her account that Epstein introduced her in Palm Beach to a woman it designates “EVA LNU (believed to be EVA ANDERSSON DUBIN)”, described in the report as a former model and a former girlfriend of Epstein’s, and that Giuffre gave her a massage at a condominium there. The report puts the identification as the interviewing agents’ own belief.74 The documents cited on this page contain no statement by Andersson-Dubin about that account, and the statement issued on the Dubins’ behalf in July 2019, set out below, addressed their friendship with Epstein rather than anything in the interview.53
In Giuffre v. Maxwell, Giuffre’s counsel asked the court in April 2016 to enforce a request for Maxwell’s communications with a list of people including “Eva Dubin”, and on May 13, 2016 subpoenaed Epstein for documents and media relating to a list that includes her.7576
United States v. Maxwell
At Maxwell’s trial the government moved on December 15, 2021 to preclude testimony from Andersson-Dubin and two other witnesses about whether they had taken part in sexualized massages with the complainant the court called Jane. Its motion recorded that Jane had testified on cross-examination that she had told the government there was “a woman named Eva” who “joined in”, but that defense counsel had not asked her, and she had not said, that the woman was Eva Dubin; and that Jane, asked about Eva Dubin in government interviews, had said she knew her and “does not remember DUBIN being involved in massages”.77 Maxwell’s counsel replied the next day that Jane’s February 2020 account described Epstein’s former girlfriend, that Jane had said she did “not recall there being another Eva”, and that Maxwell was entitled to call Andersson-Dubin to deny the allegation.78 The court allowed the testimony within a narrowed timeframe, and Andersson-Dubin testified for the defense on December 17, 2021.1
Asked whether, in roughly 1994 to 2004, she had observed “any inappropriate conduct between Mr. Epstein and any teenage females”, she answered, “I did not”. Asked whether she had “ever been in a group sexual encounter with the person we are calling Jane”, she answered, “Absolutely not”, and to a group sexualized massage with Jane, “I have not”. Shown an exhibit identifying Jane, she said she did not recall ever meeting her, and she said she could not recall being introduced, between 1994 and 2004, to any other person named Eva who was dating Epstein.1 On cross-examination, asked about her observations of Maxwell and Epstein between 1994 and 2000 and whether it was her understanding that they were in a relationship, she said, “It’s hard to define, I think, ‘relationship.’ But they were living in the same house.”1
Mount Sinai, 2026
The Cancer Letter reported on 6 March 2026, after the Justice Department released the files, that Mount Sinai had formed a review committee. Its opening sentence reads: “Mount Sinai hospital has formed a committee to investigate the ties between Jeffrey Epstein and Eva Dubin a Swedish physician and philanthropist who founded the Dubin Breast Center at the Tisch Cancer Institute whose name is featured prominently in the Epstein files.”79 Bloomberg had published a feature on 28 February 2026 headed “Epstein Emails Show Reliance on Eva Dubin, Mount Sinai in DOJ Files”; the article is behind a paywall and was not read for this page, and nothing in it is quoted here.80

The body prints “come and visit next week.” and “Celina will have 5 friends over.” on two lines. Epstein’s message of 08:55:17 -0600 the same morning prints “im at the ranch” followed by a barred value. Read at the image at 400 dpi. The sheet is overstamped “SUBJECT TO PROTECTIVE ORDER PARAGRAPHS 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, and 17”. The bureau file and serial numbers printed on it are not transcribed here. https://epstein-data.com/EFTA01245366 p.2. Read at the image at 400 dpi. The sheet prints her name in typescript as

"Eva Anderssen", the Danish spelling of the Swedish surname, returns 8 documents, every one of them outside the union recorded in the table above. Seven of the ten passenger rows are withheld, as is the whole of the cell-number column; the sheet’s own Pax# column (3 on the first leg, 7 on the second and third) corroborates the count. The zone was established on this thread rather than assumed, and no header line is transcribed here. Groff’s follow-up is stamped as produced on the sheet cited for it here, and the sheet Yorke’s answer is quoted from carries the same message as a quotation, timed five hours earlier and in the morning. New York was on Eastern Standard Time by that date, so the produced headers are UTC and the quoted ones local, and the offset is five hours and not the four that holds in the summer months.
