On the evening of September 8, 2014, New Mexico Attorney General and gubernatorial nominee Gary King, his running mate Deb Haaland and three campaign staff flew from Santa Fe to Washington Dulles on a Hawker 800XP chartered by Epstein’s staff through JEGE LLC.1 The campaign reported paying the operator $22,060.90 on September 5.2

Aftermath

King said in 2026 that he had not known the aircraft was connected to Epstein and that his staff had told him Bill Richardson was helping arrange a plane; Haaland’s spokesperson said the way the plane was chartered was never communicated to her.910
