| Reach in the released files, searched 24 October 2026 | The phrase “bobby kotick” is in the released text of 113 documents / 116 sheets; the surname-first form “kotick bobby” reaches 159 documents14 |
A games executive courted across a decade of the correspondence in these files, and who kept saying no. In the released files Bobby Kotick is not a figure in Epstein’s business dealings or his legal affairs: he is a social acquisition, approached first through Ghislaine Maxwell and from 2012 directly, and the record of that approach is largely a record of invitations declined. He came to dinner once and had Epstein to his house once. He turned down the island, the ranch in New Mexico and two invitations to the same conference in Las Vegas.
The one description of his job anywhere in the files read for this page is Epstein’s own. On 18 November 2012 Epstein wrote to a third party, “spoke to bobby kotick, head of activision. he thinks he has a good idea for steve”; the released files carry that message in five copies, and the phrase “head of activision” appears in no other document.3 Searched on 24 October 2026, no document in the released files carries his surname on the same sheet as the word “CEO”, as the phrase “chief executive”, or as the word “Blizzard”, each measured against a firing control in the same query.14 This page therefore gives him no title the documents do not, and no dates of office.
What this page covers, and what it does not
This page makes no allegation and records none. Nothing here is a finding of wrongdoing about anyone, and appearing in these files is not evidence of one.
It does not describe, characterise, count or name any complainant or survivor, and it reproduces nothing about any of them. Epstein’s own messages in the February 2013 thread below refer to people he calls “the girls”; this page reproduces nothing about who they were, states no age, surname or forename for any of them, and makes no claim about them beyond the words Epstein himself wrote to Kotick. That thread, and the office correspondence about the same trip, are handled at the page on Elon Musk, which read the sheet at the image.
Where a producing party has covered a name or a line on a sheet cited here, this page writes around it: it does not supply the covered words from context, does not characterise them, and does not reason about whom they belong to. Several of the people in these messages are named only by a first name. This page names no assistant on either side, no member of either office’s staff, and no correspondent whose sender line the producing party has covered. Where a first name stands inside a quotation reproduced here, the quotation is given as the sheet prints it and no surname is supplied for that person and no identification is attempted.
No telephone number, fax number, e-mail address or other contact value is reproduced here, for anyone, although the sheets cited carry many. No private individual’s home address is reproduced here. One message quoted below gave Epstein a street address and that address is not printed on this page; the sentence is quoted with the cut marked. The one address this page does print is three words of Epstein’s own, naming a property that has its own page on this site.
This page does not cover Kotick’s business career, his company’s products or its corporate history, because the files read for this page contain almost nothing about any of them.
The name, and how the files print it
The correspondence prints him surname-first, as a mail client does: “Kotick, Bobby”. Searched on 24 October 2026, that form reaches 159 documents against 113 for “bobby kotick”. Measured on the same day, the two sets overlap in only 27 documents: 86 carry the natural order alone and 132 the surname-first form alone, so neither contains the other and a search on either form alone misses most of the file. Their union is 245 documents.14 The bare token “kotick” reaches 300 documents, but that figure is an upper bound: at least one of its hits is the token appearing inside a page of handwritten notes whose released text is otherwise unreadable, and a mail thread quoted down the page prints the name once for every message in it.14
Against a release of 1,425,556 documents, 113 is a very small file, and it should be read that way: a count of documents is a count of copies, not of events. Most of the documents read for this page are a single e-mail two lines long, and several of them are copies of one another.
A list discussed below prints the form “Billy Kotick”, read as ink on paper.15 No document read for this page says whether that is the same man.
2004 to 2010: through Ghislaine Maxwell
The earliest document read for this page is a reply from him to Ghislaine Maxwell, its header dated “Sat, 24 Apr 2004 08:07:46 +0000”, under the subject “RE:”. Maxwell’s message beneath it carries no subject and reads, on three lines, “You don’t ring, you don’t write..” / “Yours heart broken” / “Ghislaine”. His reply, read at the image, is a single line followed by a one-letter sign-off:
Mend it together and bring that sexy body that goes with it out to my town. Ill ring.
and, after a blank line, “B”.4 The sheet prints “Ill” without an apostrophe; this page follows the sheet. What “it” refers to has no antecedent anywhere on the sheet. The two messages carry stamps of different kinds, one with a zone and one without, so no interval between them is derived here.
Nothing else from 2004 to 2008 was read for this page. On 11 February 2009 Epstein wrote four words to Maxwell under no subject line: “no kotick as of yet”.16 No document read for this page says what that refers to.
On 4 March 2009 Epstein reported back to her. The message is damaged in the released text, and two spans of it are legible:
he asked for a pilot for his 407
and, after a passage in which Epstein says he put him in touch with a helicopter pilot,
also bobby said he is learning to fly.
The pilot and a mutual acquaintance are each named by a first name only and neither is reproduced here. The message also places him with Brett Ratner at the time of the call.7
In June 2010 Maxwell asked him a question for Epstein and forwarded the answer on. Her message read “Hey, do you have a GV in pre buy? What did you pay for it?”; his reply, “Its confidential but ill call you. Tell Darren to keep quiet.”; and her covering line to Epstein, “Didn’t hear from yet”.17 The sheet does not say who “Darren” is, and this page does not supply a surname for him. Her covering line does not say whom she had not heard from.
On 30 November 2010 she wrote to Epstein, “I didn’t end up seeing Bobby last night so I sent him an e mail..”, and forwarded the exchange: his answer, “This trip no time. What can I bring tonight?”, above her own message, “Jeffrey would Love to see you if you have time. Something to do w/business.”18 Nothing read for this page shows whether that evening happened.
On 21 December 2010 his name appears on a guest list. A six-sheet attachment headed “St. Barth’s Christmas 2010” runs to forty-three numbered entries, under a covering note:
Please look this over. I think Roman’s boat is bigger than Ron Perelman’s. Here is a list of everyone I know that’s coming down so far. Please advise where and when to screen.
Its final sheet prints the address block of Peggy Siegal Co. The sender of the covering message, and the sender of the message inside it, are both covered by the producing party, and this page supplies neither. Entry 24 of the list reads, on two lines, “Ghislaine Maxwell” and “Staying on Billy Kotick’s boat”, read as ink at the sheet’s native resolution.15 Nothing else from that list is reproduced here.
November 2012: the dinner at 9 East 71st Street
By late 2012 Epstein was writing to him directly. On 10 November: “are you coming to my coast soon?” The answer, on 11 November: “Maybe next weekend. How are you?” Epstein then offered the attraction:
if so , come see me , i will be in new york, on sat possibly david blaine , and woody alien at the house„ you will enjoy them as they will enjoy you.
The sheet prints “woody alien”; this page follows it. He replied, “I should be in around 7. III come find you saturday. What’s your address?” (the released text prints “III” at that point) and Epstein answered with three words, copying his assistant Lesley Groff: “9 east 71”, which is his New York house.192021 On 13 November Epstein added another name: “possibly steve sinofsky will also be there„ resigned from microsoft yesterday”.22
The one thing Epstein wanted from the evening did not happen. The same day a message from his office to Kotick’s two assistants asked whether the date could move:
Jeffrey is wondering if by any chance, Bobby could change his trip and come Friday night, Nov. 16th at 7:30 for dinner…Woody Allen will be coming this night and Jeffrey really would like Bobby and Woody to meet. Unfortunately, Woody cannot come on Saturday Nov. 17th.
The assistants are named by first name in the salutation and are not named here; the message’s own sender line carries no name in the released text, and none is supplied.23 Later the same evening Epstein was told the answer:
Bobby Kotick’s office says they will need to get back to us re Bobby coming in earlier on Friday to make it to the woody dinner at 7:30…his assistant doesn’t think there will be enough time however.
That message’s sender line is also blank in the released text.24 So Woody Allen could not come on the Saturday, Kotick could not come on the Friday, and nothing read for this page shows that the two men met.
Meanwhile Epstein was using the dinner elsewhere. On 14 November he replied to Ian Osborne in a thread headed “Re: Peter’s schedule”, in which Osborne had written that it was “proving so difficult to get you together” with a man the thread’s own forwarded messages identify as Peter Thiel. Epstein’s whole reply was: “bobby kotick from activision will be at the house on sat night , might be good for you”.25
The dinner took place. At 7:44:43 PM on Sunday 18 November Epstein wrote to Brock Pierce, “not sure yet„ had bobby kotick here for dinner last night, heard lots about the future”.2 Earlier the same day, at 12:34:01 PM, he had written to a second correspondent, whose name the producing party has covered, the line that gives this page his job: “spoke to bobby kotick, head of activision. he thinks he has a good idea for steve”.3 That correspondent asked the next morning why Kotick was not pursuing the idea himself, and Epstein answered, “no idea. but i would guess that bobby has enough on his plate”.26 The 18 November message gives only a first name for “steve”; on 22 November Epstein put the same word to Kotick as “what idea makes sense for Steve sinofsky,”. The surname is the documents’ and not this page’s, and both forms are printed here as the sheets give them.
Nothing read for this page says what the idea was.
The island that was offered and not visited
On 20 November 2012 Lesley Groff wrote to him for Epstein:
Jeffrey Epstein understands you will be down in St. Thomas some over the holidays. Jeffrey requested I please pass along some phone numbers to you so the two of you can possibly get together.
The numbers themselves, the staff named in the same message by first name, and the office line printed at its foot are not reproduced here.27 The next morning a calendar reminder in Epstein’s account read, “did bobby kotick and howard lutnick get my email yesterday re island #‘s?”, naming Howard Lutnick alongside him.28
On 22 November Epstein asked him directly. The sheet prints the message as two questions separated by seven full stops:
have you guys decided your schedule . for island
and
what idea makes sense for Steve sinofsky,
Whether the second question follows from the first is not something the sheet settles, and this page does not resolve it.29 His answer, sent the same day, is two separate paragraphs on the sheet, and is given here as two:
I think we are going right to Virgin Gorda.
He should go run Google Apps.30
Epstein tried once more the next day: “if you all want to tour of the island let me know, I am in palm beach”. The reply:
Very nice of you to offer. I don’t think it is going to work with the schedule. It was fun being with you and your teams of experts.10
A daily schedule in Epstein’s office for the Saturday, under the heading “Sat. Nov. 24-PB”, carries a question about going to the island that night and, in brackets, “(Bobby Kotick on St. Thomas)”.31 On 9 December Epstein asked “how was the carib” and got back, “Great, wished would could have stopped by the island.”32
No document read for this page names the island, and none shows that he ever went to it.
On 26 December, asked by a correspondent about assembling a dinner, Epstein offered his address book and gave one example: “i will ask friends, bobby kotick from activision. for example”.33 That correspondent’s name is covered in the released text and nothing else from the thread is reproduced here. It is the second occasion among the documents read for this page, after the message to Ian Osborne in November, on which Epstein offers Kotick’s name to a third party as an attraction.
February 2013: Los Angeles, SpaceX and Activision
On 24 February 2013 Epstein told him where he was going: “the girls and i are going to see elon musk at space x tomorrow, are you around,”. He offered an aircraft, “Im here but tied up during the day. Do you want my 407 to fly to Hawthorne Airport?”, and, when Epstein said he was already in Long Beach, offered it again: “Want it to take you from Long Beach?” Epstein declined both and said he would rather see him. The whole of that thread, and the question of who travelled with Epstein, belong to the page on Elon Musk, which settled the sheet at the image; nothing more from it is reproduced here.6
That evening Epstein asked his own office to approach Kotick’s: “tell bobby kotiks sec that the whole gang is at space x tomorw , can we come visit activision if its nearby”. Groff reported back the next day, “I have Emailed Bobby’s assistant re a possible visit from all of you today.”34 Her message to Kotick’s assistants put the request plainly:
Jeffrey is asking of they could come visit Activision if it near by!
The names of the people travelling with Epstein are not in the copy cited here and are not supplied.35 An automatic reply from one of the two Activision addresses she had written to said the account was inactive and directed her to “Mr. Kotick’s office”, naming two other assistants; no address from it is reproduced here.36 Later that day Epstein closed the question himself: “weve bene in contact„ he will meet us in la”.37
The exchange then turned to the evening. Asked what time he was leaving for a conference dinner (“What time are you leaving for Ted dinner?”), Epstein answered:
not going to a dinner, just holding court in the westin in bill gates suite, come later if you like or i will meet you in bev hills. ?
The reply was an invitation to his house:
Come with your friends to my house at 530, … Bev Hills, 10 minutes from Bel Air.
The street address printed in that sentence is not reproduced on this page, and the cut is marked.8 Nothing read for this page shows whether anyone went.
April and May 2013: drinks at his house
Epstein was in Los Angeles again in April. On 27 April: “arriving with crew in tow tomorw at bel air at 7 pm what are you doing are you going to milken?” The answer: “I will be around monday and tuesday. Let me know.”38 An itinerary kept in Epstein’s office for that month carries a reminder headed “People to see in LA:” listing eight names across a sheet break, Kotick among them; one of the eight is a bare first name of a private individual, so the list is described here and not quoted.39
On the Monday he wrote, “Drinks tomorrow my house 530?” Epstein asked for the address, then said what he would bring and what he wanted:
great… see you then i will bring 3or 4 . also I understand that Brian Grazer, like me ,starches for smart interesting people„ do you know him?
The sheet prints “starches”; this page follows it. The answer was “Yes I do.”, and that evening, “Can we meet at 6? I am running late.”9
Epstein had put the same thought to Steve Tisch the same day, writing “I will go to Koticks house for drinks,” and asking whether Brian Grazer might meet him. Tisch’s reply is two lines on the sheet: “You would enjoy meeting Grazer” and “Kotick should invite him to meet you”. Epstein answered, “good idea”.4041 To a separate correspondent, whose name the producing party has covered, Epstein wrote the same day, “what is your schedule afternoon, I am going to try to go to koticks at 530-6 ,”; nothing else from that sheet is reproduced here.42 Nothing read for this page shows whether Grazer was ever invited or ever met Epstein.
The drinks happened. On 30 April Epstein wrote, “great house, great art, i am in ny 1-6 if you have time when you come”, and got back two lines: “Thanks. Great guests.” and “See you in NYC.”4344
The education-through-games exchange
On 2 May Epstein sent him a long message under the body text “critique ???”, above a quoted line of his own (“Im meeting with Joel Klein on monday, any edutainment games that you like already out there”) and then several hundred words arguing that video games should be used to teach school subjects, including “Video games are already great at teaching.” and, across a line break on the sheet,
The best scheme I’ve come up with so far is to use X-Prize or something like it to co-opt the existing video game industry.
The sheet does not show who wrote that passage: it carries no sender line or attribution above it, and the quoted line immediately before it is Epstein’s own question. The passage also contains coarse sexual language, and several hundred of its words, including all of that language, are not reproduced here; this page quotes only what is needed to show what was asked and what was answered.45
The answer came on the morning of 3 May and is the most substantive thing he writes in any document read for this page:
X prize is a good idea but key is real world rewards. Learn to read: earn cell phone minutes, iphone credits, virtual items in games.46
Joel Klein is named in the quoted line as the person Epstein was to meet. Nothing read for this page shows that any of this went further.
Two invitations declined, and a question of his own
On 19 May 2013 Epstein asked “When ny” and was asked back, “No plans. When New Mexico?”. The question about New Mexico is his, not Epstein’s. Epstein answered, “All August begins with hacker conference Vegas July 30”.47
On 18 July:
are you going to meet me at the hackers convention on aug 3 vegas, come to the ranch either before or after in santa fe.
The reply, two lines: “I wish I could. I have to be in NY.” and “Let me know when you go to Santa Fe again.”11
On 29 July: “we are going to hacker convention in las vegas sat -sun come”. The reply, two lines: “Wish I could. Tied up this weekend.” and “Have fun.”12
No document read for this page names the conference, and none shows that he attended it, or that he ever went to the ranch.
The one document in which he acts for his company
A single sheet read for this page has him giving an instruction at work. It is a forwarded message to a colleague, subject “FW: Activision - Bear Stearns Media Conference UPDATE”, and its whole body is one line:
confirm philip levine and call philip, let him know and email him the conf agenda. thanks.
The sheet’s date line reads “Sat, 01 Jan 4501 05:00:00 +0000”, read as ink on paper, so the message cannot be dated from its own header, and no document read for this page dates it.13 A companion sheet carries the same subject line and almost no body in the released text.
2014: the last dated mention
The last dated appearance read for this page is a one-line message to Epstein of 18 May 2014, under the subject “su estion” as the released text renders it, proposing that Epstein introduce a third person to him. That sheet’s sender line carries no name in the released text, and the sentence begins without a grammatical subject, so this page does not say who made the suggestion. The third person is described but not named on the sheet and is not described here.5 Nothing read for this page shows that any introduction followed.
How the documents on this page were read
None of the documents cited here has a page image in this project’s local store. The three-way test was run against all four stores and returned absent in every case, with controls that returned an alias, a regular file and an absence respectively. For four of them a single copy each was fetched from the site’s own per-document path and rendered, against a control request for an identifier that exists nowhere, which was refused. Those four are the two whose reading was contested and the two whose marks mattered; each is a 96-pixel-per-inch scan, and each was read at that native resolution rather than upsampled.
Every sheet of every document cited here was read, not only the sheet a quotation sits on: the fifty documents hold ninety-six sheets between them in this project’s index, and every absence stated on this page is scoped to those ninety-six and to nothing wider. Everything else on this page is quoted from the released text. Every quoted span was checked against the exact bytes of the sheet it is cited to, newlines included; where a quotation crosses a line break on the sheet, the break is shown as a line break here and not closed up. Where the sheets print an error, among them “woody alien”, “III”, “starches” and “Ill”, the error is reproduced and not repaired.
Two sheets were read at the image and carry a printed stamp in a numbering series different from the identifier that addresses the document, and this page names both without converting between them. Two others were measured at the foot and carry no printed stamp at all: zero dark pixels at a minimum grey of 255 across the foot band, against thousands of dark pixels at a minimum grey of 0 in the body of the same sheet. Those are cited by document and served page, and no stamp is named for them. For every other sheet on this page no image was read, so no statement is made here about what is or is not printed in ink on any of them.
Limits of this page
This page does not say when he joined Activision, what he did there, how long he held any position, or what he was paid, because no document read for it records any of those things. It gives no date of birth, no age and no family detail of any kind. It does not say where he lives. It does not say whether he knew anything about Epstein’s conduct or his conviction, because no document read for this page touches the question, and it should not be read as suggesting an answer either way.
It does not cover the workplace litigation and regulatory proceedings involving his company, which are not the subject of these files and on which nothing here was read.
Several invitations recorded above were accepted and several were declined, and the page says which on the face of each document. An arrangement is not an occurrence: where the files show only that something was proposed, this page says so.

Reply to Ghislaine Maxwell, header
Date: Sat, 24 Apr 2004 08:07:46 +0000, subject “RE:”, one sheet. Read at the image at the sheet’s native 96 ppi. The body is a single line, “Mend it together and bring that sexy body that goes with it out to my town. Ill ring.”, then a blank line, then “B”. The sheet prints “Ill”, with no apostrophe; the released text of this sheet reads “111” at that point and the source material this page was built from gave it as “I’ll”, and the image settles it against both. Beneath a rule the sheet carries the earlier message,Sent: Fri Apr 23 16:21:19 2004, with an empty subject line, reading on three lines “You don’t ring, you don’t write..”, “Yours heart broken”, “Ghislaine”. The reply’s header stamp carries a zone and the earlier message’s does not, so they are two clocks and no interval is derived. The address lines on the sheet are covered by the producing party; nothing is supplied into them and no contact value is reproduced. Forwarded message from Kotick to a colleague, subject “FW: Activision - Bear Stearns Media Conference UPDATE”, one sheet. Read at the image at the sheet’s native 96 ppi. The body is the single line quoted, set in a monospaced face below a rule. The date line reads “Sat, 01 Jan 4501 05:00:00 +0000”, read as ink on paper; it is a placeholder a mail system has supplied and not a date on which anything happened, and no document read for this page dates this message. The image also corrects the released text, which renders the subject line’s “Stearns” as “Steams”. No part of this sheet is covered by the producing party. The foot of the sheet was measured against the body of the same sheet and carries no printed stamp, so this is cited by document and served page. A companion sheet at https://epstein-data.com/EFTA00580446 p.1 carries the same subject line, addressed the other way, with almost no body in the released text. https://epstein-data.com/EFTA00580447 p.1. ↩ ↩2

Counts taken from the released files on 24 October 2026 by exact-phrase search, column-scoped, with an invented control phrase returning 0 documents and 0 sheets in the same invocation. “bobby kotick”: 113 documents, 116 sheets. “kotick bobby”, which is how the tokeniser reads the headers’ “Kotick, Bobby”: 159 documents, 168 sheets. The two document sets were then intersected in a further query on the same day: 27 documents carry both forms, 86 the natural order alone, 132 the surname-first form alone, 245 in union, with the invented control returning 0 in the same invocation. “robert kotick”: 0 and 0. “billy kotick”: 4 and 4. The bare token “kotick”: 300 documents, 312 sheets. “activision”: 84 documents; “activision blizzard”: 9 documents. Co-occurrence searches on the same day, each bracketed in one invocation by a firing positive control and a zero-returning invented control: surname with “ceo”, 0 documents; surname with the phrase “chief executive”, 0 documents; surname with “blizzard”, 0 documents; surname with “activision”, 32 documents. Denominators, measured in the same invocation: 1,425,556 documents and 2,925,025 sheets. For context, the single word “Epstein” was measured in that same invocation at 578,565 documents / 879,730 sheets, about 40.6% of the release, a figure this project has now arrived at four times independently, and one that is the reason a count of 113 documents is not by itself a finding about anyone. A count of documents counts copies, not events. ↩ ↩2 ↩3 ↩4

Six-sheet attachment headed “St. Barth’s Christmas 2010”, forwarded to Epstein’s address under the subject “Fw: St. Barths” on
Tuesday, December 21, 2010 11:24 PM. The sender of the covering message, and the sender of the message it encloses, are both covered by the producing party and neither is supplied here. The final sheet prints the address block of Peggy Siegal Co.; see the page on Peggy Siegal. The quoted covering note stands on served p.1. Entry 24 was read at the image at the sheet’s native 96 ppi on served p.4, where it reads “24. Ghislaine Maxwell” above the indented line “Staying on Billy Kotick’s boat”. Where the producing party has covered anything on this sheet, nothing is supplied into it. Served p.4 carries the printed stampEFTA_R1_00125051at the foot right, read as ink on paper; that is a different numbering series from the identifier that addresses the document, and neither is derived from the other. The sheet’s own folio, “4”, is centred at the foot and agrees with the served page. The list runs to forty-three numbered entries with contact lines beside many of them; nothing from any other entry and no contact value is reproduced here. This page cites one copy of this list and names no other. https://epstein-data.com/EFTA01792909 pp.1, 4. ↩ ↩2 -

Message from Epstein’s office to two assistants of Kotick’s,
Sent Tue 11/13/2012 4:30:17 PM, subject “Jeffrey Epstein-Friday Nov. 16th??”, one sheet. The quotation crosses three line breaks on the sheet, shown above as line breaks. The salutation names the two assistants by first name and is not reproduced here. The message closes “Let me know if it might be possible for Bobby to adjust his agenda…” above the sign-off “Assistant to Jeffrey Epstein”; no name stands in the sender line in the released text and none is supplied. Jeffrey Epstein to Ian Osborne,
Date: Wed, 14 Nov 2012 19:18:45 +0000, subject “Re: Peter’s schedule”, three sheets, all three read end to end. The quoted line is Epstein’s whole message. Beneath it on served p.1 stands Osborne’s message of the same day, which includes the words quoted above. Served pp.2 and 3 carry the earlier part of the chain, in which the “Peter” of the subject line writes under the printed name Peter Thiel; the identification is the document’s and not this page’s. Those sheets also concern a separate introduction Osborne was pursuing between Thiel and two other people, which has nothing to do with Kotick; they are named in full on those sheets and are not named here, because naming them changes nothing this page concludes. Sent: Tue 11/20/2012 4:20:21 PM, subject “Jeffrey Epstein”, one sheet. The quotation crosses two line breaks on the sheet, shown above as line breaks. The message goes on to name Epstein’s island staff and two office contacts by first name and prints an office telephone number; no name and no number from it is reproduced here. Calendar-service reminder delivered to Epstein’s account,
Sent Wed 11/21/2012 8:50:12 AM, one sheet, the reminder text reading “did bobby kotick and howard lutnick get my email yesterday re island #‘s?” and timed in the body forWed Nov 21 4am - 4:30am Eastern Time, which is how the released text renders it. This is a reminder Epstein set, not a message anyone sent him. This project holds no page image of this document; quoted from the released text. https://epstein-data.com/EFTA02155312 p.1. ↩ -
Jeffrey Epstein to Kotick,
Sent Thur 11/22/2012 5:13:20 PM, no subject line, one sheet. The sheet prints the message as two questions separated by seven full stops, which the released text of this copy closes up to a run of spaces; the two questions are therefore given above as two quotations and are not joined. The seven stops were read at the image on the sheet cited at the next footnote, which quotes this message back in full, and independently at the image by the page on Steven Sinofsky, which cites this document. Kotick to Epstein,
Sent Thur 11/22/2012 5:33:31 PM, subject “RE:”, one sheet, quoting Epstein’s message ofThursday, November 22, 2012 9:13 AMbeneath it. Read at the image at the sheet’s native 96 ppi. The two sentences are two separate paragraphs on the sheet: measured on the native raster, the first ends at 0.35 and the second at 0.26 of the sheet’s established text measure, against 0.88–0.89 for the sheet’s full-measure lines, and 56 blank pixel rows separate them against 3 to 6 rows between the lines of the header block. The released text of this sheet renders that gap as a single newline, and they are not joined here. Epstein’s quoted message below them shows the seven full stops described at the previous footnote. Served p.1 carries the printed stampEFTA_R1_00512610at the foot right, read as ink on paper; it is a different numbering series from the identifier that addresses the document and neither is derived from the other. The sheet prints an e-mail address several times and none is reproduced. The published page on Steven Sinofsky cites this document as “a second copy” of Epstein’s message and states that nothing in the released material records an answer from Kotick. This sheet is that answer, and the two statements cannot both stand. https://epstein-data.com/EFTA02011128 p.1. ↩ -
Daily schedule kept in Epstein’s office for November 2012, eight sheets. The entry quoted stands on served p.5 under the day heading “Sat. Nov. 24-PB”, as “Possibly go to the island for the night? (Bobby Kotick on St. Thomas)” followed by a contact label whose value is not reproduced here. This page cites this document at served p.5 only, and reproduces nothing from any other sheet of it. A copy of the same schedule is cited for a different entry on the page on Erika Kellerhals, which records that it stands in thirteen documents in the release. Monthly itinerary kept in Epstein’s office for April 2013, eight sheets. The reminder headed “People to see in LA:” begins at the foot of served p.7 and its list of names runs across the sheet break and finishes on served p.8, so it is described above rather than quoted as one line. Eight names stand in it, of whom Kotick is one; one is a bare first name of a private individual and is not reproduced here, and the rest add nothing this page needs. The two sheets also carry travel and hotel details and several telephone numbers, none of which is reproduced.
