Masha Drokova is a venture capitalist and a former publicist. In the release she introduces herself as “a founder and general partner at fund Day One Ventures”1; a Deutsche Bank schedule prepared for federal prosecutors in September 2019 calls her “the Founder and General partner of a venture capital firm called Day One Ventures” and notes that she “previously led a Russian patriotic youth movement called Nashi”2; and an FBI record e-mail of April 2025 records that she was hired as a publicist by the venture capitalist Timothy Cook Draper, that she was “made famous, as a teenager, when in charge of the Russian youth movement ‘Nashi’”, that she “became a Silicon valley technology investor and currently resides in Switzerland”, and that she “was also the former publicist for JEFFREY EPSTEIN”3. Between March 2017 and June 2019 she and Jeffrey Epstein corresponded constantly. What the release records of that relationship is press work, a long series of introductions, a proposal for a standing gathering of people she would select, and one reimbursed trip to Palm Beach whose paper trail closes end to end.

⚠ what this page is and is not

Nothing here is a finding of wrongdoing. The release contains no allegation against Drokova by any identified person. It does contain uncorroborated confidential-source reporting that names her, and this page reports that such a document exists and what kind of document it is, at that tier and no higher. It does not repeat the allegations about third parties that sit beside her in two FBI records.

How she reached Jeffrey Epstein

The earliest dated document in her file is not hers, and it is not about press. On 25 March 2017 a correspondent of Epstein’s, whose name is barred on the sheet, wrote to him:

Jeffrey,

Would you like to be connected to Masha Drokova ? Info on what’s up She is in NY next month

She is amazing as a person. So many successes

Epstein’s reply, nested directly beneath it, is two words: “Too old”. His next message in the chain is “20-24”. The correspondent then answered:

Masha Drokova doesn’t want to be assistant. She made her first million at age of 20 , now she just invests in companies and creates her own VC, collected abt 10 MLn USD since 6 months. Google, check my msg to you on what’s up :-)

Exceptional young lady. She wants to meet you, get to know you and help me find you a young attractive assistant. Masha says that she needs to know who you are and what kind of assistants you would like

Three days later the same correspondent reported “Masha Drokova asked if you are available in NY 8-14 April” and added, of the wider correspondence, “The CVs and candidates keep on coming…i feel like a recruitment agency now :-)”. Epstein: “we can check closer to the time”.11

⚠ What the sheet establishes and what it does not. It establishes that the introduction was made inside a correspondence about finding Epstein a personal assistant, and that Epstein answered a message about Drokova with “Too old” and then “20-24”. The sheet does not say in terms what those two replies mean, and the page does not assert it: Epstein does not write that she is too old, and he does not label “20-24” as anything. What the sheet does establish is the nesting, his “Too old” quoting the message about her and nothing else, three minutes after it, and the correspondent read it that way, because the next message begins “Masha Drokova doesn’t want to be assistant”. It establishes that the correspondent, not Drokova, wrote the words “help me find you a young attractive assistant”. Drokova is not on this thread, none of the words here are hers, and the correspondent’s account of what she wanted is that person’s characterisation and is not independently corroborated anywhere this desk has read. ⚠ Nothing on the sheet indicates that any candidate discussed in that correspondence was under age, and this page makes no such suggestion.

By early July 2017 a third party writing to Epstein could say “Masha Drokova mentioned you met”.12

The press work

On 11 September 2017 she proposed a press interview, and the office’s scheduling question came back afterwards, not before. Her first message that afternoon opens with a salutation whose addressee is barred and goes on “There’s Jeffrey in person interview with Futurism editor that he confirmed. Would he be able to do that on 18th or on the first part of day on 19th?” and adds “I’d also join the interview”. The office answered “HI Masha…I will get back to you shortly!”. Half an hour later she wrote the sentence that is the clearest statement on the record of what she was doing:

I think just in case it’s better to reserve 1.5 h. And I’d be happy to have another 30-40 min chat with Jeffrey about other media opportunities

printed with no terminal stop. Only then did the office reply “Great! I will let him know …would 1:30pm work on the 18th for the interview?”8

She asked for time with Epstein on either side of the interview (“Lesley, and one hour before/after this meeting for me and Jeffrey”), the office offered “Great. Would you like to come at 12:45pm to speak with Jeffrey first?”, and she answered “That works”. Later that same day, 12 September, the office sent her the address of the townhouse. That reply prints as three separate paragraphs: “Great.”, then “9 east 71st street between 5th and Madison.”, then “See you then!”8

Epstein’s calendar for Monday 18 September 2017 carries both halves of the visit:

That is the act this page is built on, and it needs no inference: she proposed media work and his calendar for that Monday puts her on the schedule for it twice, an hour apart. ⚠ A calendar entry is a schedule, not attendance. Nothing in the release says the interview took place or what was said in it, and the parenthetical after her name in the first entry is covered on the sheet and is not supplied here.8

Futurism was not the only outlet. On 11 October 2017 the office’s day sheet for Epstein carries “4:00pm SKYPE w/Jeff Tollefson (Nature Correspondent) and Masha. Masha will initiate”, and a later message the same day records the office trying to move it: “I have emailed/texted/LM for Masha to delay=the Skype to 11:30am EST.” ⚠ Again a schedule and an attempt to reschedule it, not a record that the call happened.13

The introductions

The repeated act is connecting people to him, and it runs the whole length of the correspondence. No count is given. An earlier draft of this page put the figure at 96; that number could not be reproduced from the method stated for it, and a count that cannot be re-derived is withdrawn rather than hedged.9 What can be named are the instances, each with a document:

  • Bryan Johnson, 3 October 2017, in her own words: “Great meeting you Bryan. Putting here ▮ Jeffrey’s assistant. She’ll help to coordinate”. A video call was then negotiated between Johnson’s assistant and Epstein’s office, and a calendar recovered from one of Epstein’s devices carries entries titled “Sync: Bryan/Jeffrey Epstein/Masha Drokova” for 6 October 2017.9
  • Daniel Schmachtenberger, 7 September 2018: “Jeffrey, Daniel, Connecting you here. There’re very few people in the world whom I respect as much as I respect each one of you. You both are amazing thinkers and world-changers. I’m excited to connect you. Please meet when Daniel is in New York on Sept 18-25.” Epstein replied “of course look forward to it”. This is the one introduction on the page that the release shows producing an actual meeting: on 9 October 2018 Schmachtenberger wrote to Epstein, “Thanks for taking the time to meet with me last week.”9
  • “Alexandra”, 28 December 2018, in three lines: “Alexandra, Jeffrey,” / “Please meet each other.” / “The intuition of both amazed me many times. Excited to connect you.”9
  • James Peyer, 28 February 2019: “Dear Jeffrey and James, I’ve told you about each other.” Within hours Peyer had written to Epstein (“Heard very kind things ▮bout you from Masha :)”), Epstein had proposed the next day, and Peyer had asked where to meet.9
  • Zoe Bernard, a journalist, 8 and 29 May 2019. Her message of 8 May opens “Jeffrey,” and “How have you been?” and goes on: “Very smart and fun friend similar to Samantha — She lives in New York. Would be happy to connect you. I think you’ll enjoy knowing each other.” Epstein answered “when i am there definitly”. On 29 May she wrote “Please meet Zoe and schedule meeting with her directly when Jeffrey is in NYC. She is excited to meet him.” The office asked Epstein “Would you like to meet with Zoe Bernard on Monday June 3rd?”, he answered “monday 9 ok.”, and the office confirmed “Zoe is confirmed to come see you at 9am on Monday June 3rd.” Epstein’s calendar for 3 June 2019 then reads “9:30am Appt w/ Zoe Bernard (Masha Drokova’s friend)”. ⚠ That is an appointment. Nothing in the release says the meeting happened.9
  • “Samantha”, on her own account: on 1 January 2019 she told Epstein “talk to Samantha, she’s definitely smart and adequate▮ I’ve connected you yesterday”.10

Two people the page does not count as her introductions, because the documents show something else. The approach to Ben Goertzel in November 2017 ran the other way: on 6 November 2017, on a message relaying a request of hers to meet him in New York, Epstein told his office “tell her meet up with Ben goertzl he is in lisbon”, and the assistant then wrote “Hello Masha and Ben—.Jeffrey requested I `introduce’ you two!”. And the November 2017 exchange about Gino Yu is not an introduction at all but a warning, Epstein cautioning her about Yu. Both are set out on those pages and are not re-told here.1

The list, and the gathering that was proposed

By the end of 2018 the introductions had become a project. Epstein’s message refers to it as hers, “re your ten woman swat team”, and what the sheet shows as his is the instruction to expand it and to start.

On 20 December 2018 she asked whether he was at his Florida house that Saturday: “Jeffrey, Is there any chance that you’re in your residence in Florida this Saturday? I’m flying to Moscow and can fly through Miami to see you.” They fixed a time, and on 22 December she messaged “almost there (had to make a turn as someone crossed the road)”. The meeting took place; she wrote the next day “ok, on it. thank you for the fun meeting!”10

What she was “on it” for is on the sheet. On 23 December 2018 Epstein had written:

re your ten woman swat team make a list of 20 candiddates. plus 10 smartest guys. . lets begin

On 24 December she sent the list. It runs to twenty women and twenty-three men, counted at the image, each given a one-line profession: a lawyer, founders and chief executives, venture capitalists, executives at named technology companies, a film director, an actress, an anti-trafficking activist, a head of finance, two journalists, two scientists, an artist. Her own name is the last on the women’s list, against “General Partner at Day One Ventures”. Beneath it she set out “Their common qualities”: “1. Smart 2. Ambitious 3. Learning fast 4. High level of energy 5. Trust their instincts”.10

Over the following days she described some of them to him one by one and he reported back on whom he had spoken to and what he thought. On 31 December she asked: “Tell me honestly what you t▮ink of everyone you met so I can better curate the rest of list.” On 1 January 2019, asked for “other s smart like neil and jay?”, printed with that space, she answered “guys — yes. girls, even successful, probably less smar▮”.10

On 3 January 2019 she set out the scheme in full:

  1. We pick 12 people for the start. Say 6 guys, 6 girls. […a sentence naming four candidates is omitted here…]

  2. Gathering them every 3 months or more often. We can start in the begging of February so people can put it in the schedules. For every new gathering we’d ask first attendees to nominate new people and select 2-3 best. Some people can also be excluded. We can grow it up to 15-20 people at he first year.

  3. We discuss some global topics so people fill like they participate in designing the future. We can also invite one additional person who’s an expert on the topic.

She proposed three subjects (the state of science; the United Nations sustainable development goals; climate, crisis and artificial intelligence), a year-end retreat, and a reading list, and she described the object plainly:

This would look like something between an informal think tank and salon. This group can be used to run through it any ideas/policies that can influence society on international level. Positioning: something like a global young intellectual elite group.

We don’t have to say that, we can give a sense of it.

Epstein’s answers were short. On the names: “samantha jay neil great. not sure katya fits. with this stew”. On the subjects: “has some better topics. . taboos. why and how they change.? gender. sex food. each one has a topic to explain to the others.” and “the idea for the next needs to be self generated.” She replied “that sounds more flexible and fun. I like it”.10

⚠ On its face this is a proposal for a curated discussion group of adult professionals, and nothing in any of these documents indicates anything else. This page alleges nothing else. ⚠ Nothing in the release indicates that any gathering took place. ⚠ This page does not reproduce the list. The people on it appear there as a name and a job, and most of them appear nowhere else in the release.

Palm Beach, and a cheque that took a year to clear

This is the one sequence the release closes end to end, and it runs from a Christmas message to a bank statement twelve months later.

On Christmas Day 2017 Epstein wrote to his office: “plese coordinate with masha and her friend to visit and stay in palm beach we pay all”. The body of that message is set two characters to a line across a page break, and the misspelling is the sender’s.14

Later the same morning she answered Lesley Groff in two short paragraphs, “Thank you Jeffrey.” and “Hi Lesley, we’ll arrive late tonight. Where would you recommend to stay?”; Groff asked “Hi. MAsha. Are you sharing one room? 2 beds? One bed? How long will you stay? The breakers is nice but probably all booked up.”; and she reported “Thank you Jeffrey said to book Breakers or four seasons so I booked four seasons as they have rooms available”. Groff offered to pay the hotel directly and she declined: “I’ve already booked it from my card. I’m fine to pay from it reimburse later. What is the best option for your convenience?” The office proposed the mechanism, enthusiastically: “YESS!! That would be fantastic! We can have Our accounting department send you a check!!”14

She stayed two nights, 25 to 27 December, in two rooms. The Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach folio, made out to “Ms. Mariia Drokova”, shows arrival 12/25/17, departure 12/27/17, rooms 0109 and 0305, four room-nights at $1,169.00 with four tax lines at $151.97, and $92.20 of food and bar charges settled by card. Balance Due: $0.00.4

On 29 December Yury Molodtsov, who handled her scheduling and her expenses in this correspondence, sent the office the invoices and a calculation totalling $7,387.48. Groff passed it to accounting; Bella Klein found an error and corrected it: “Four Seasons exact number is 5376.08 v. 5736.06 on the report, she just made a mistake. Her total for reimbursement is 7027.48. Please confirm”. The arithmetic reproduces from the folio to the cent: four room charges plus four tax lines is $5,283.88, plus $92.20 of incidentals is $5,376.08. Molodtsov confirmed, Groff wrote “ok, super…check will arrive in the mail!”14, and Klein sent “check will be mailed today”.5 ⚠ Two cents of the submitted total remain unexplained and the page prints no reconciliation the documents do not contain: $7,387.48 less $7,027.48 is $360.00, while the stated report error of 5,736.06 against 5,376.08 is $359.98.

Cheque #1146 was drawn the same day, on Epstein’s Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas account, payable to “Mariia Drokova”, $7,027.48, over a manuscript signature on the line marked AUTHORIZED SIGNATURE, which this page does not attribute to anyone. ⚠ The cheque’s own MEMO line is blank; it is the two payment-record stubs below it that describe the payment as “PB Expense reimbursement”. The payee address block on the cheque is covered.5

Then nothing happens for fifteen weeks. On 13 April 2018 Klein wrote to Groff:

Lesley, Maria Drokova did not cash her reimbursement check 1146 issued no 12/29/17 in the amount of 7,027.48. Please contact her and advise.

Three days later Epstein’s accountant Richard Kahn answered:

lesley if you have not already reached out then don’t chase her.. if reached out and no response please just let it be.. thanks

Two minutes later the reply came back, “I have not reached out as of yet…will let it be.” ⚠ The sender of that reply is barred on the sheet and is not supplied here. Kahn closed the thread with two lines, “ok” and “thanks”.6

The cheque cleared on 19 December 2018, a Deutsche Bank statement line reading 12-19 | Check 1146 | (7,027.48) on the December 2018 statement, 355 days after it was issued. ⚠ The page offers no explanation for the year, because the release contains none.6

The payment surfaced again nine months later. When Deutsche Bank presented to the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York on 12 September 2019, five weeks after Epstein’s death, its schedule of notable payments carried a ruled row for “Maria Drokova”, 12/29/2017, $7,027, with this background note:

Maria “Masha” Drokova is the Founder and General partner of a venture capital firm called Day One Ventures. She was recently named to Forbes’ 2019 30 Under 30 for Venture Capital. She has garnered attention because she previously led a Russian patriotic youth movement called Nashi, which has been implicated in harassing people critical of President Putin’s regime.

The rows immediately above and below hers are Lawrence Krauss and Noam Chomsky. ⚠ That description is the bank’s, written for prosecutors. It is not a finding by anyone. It is also the only corroboration of cheque #1146 outside Epstein’s own office records that this desk has found.2

⚠ The page does not say this was the only money that passed between them. The bank statement that closes this chain does not contain her name at all; it was found by searching the amount, and the bank lists cheques by number alone. A second payment would be invisible to a name search, and nobody has walked the cheque-image batches.6

What the file consists of

A document count this size has been an artefact three times on this wiki, so it was measured before anything was written, and every figure below is re-derived with its query printed in the footnote.7

  • "Masha Drokova" as a phrase returns 1,622 documents across 1,825 pages. The bare surname returns 1,636 / 1,847. The prefix form Drokov* returns 1,649, her own messaging handle another 11 documents beyond that, and her firm’s name a further 2: a floor of 1,662 documents. ⚠ The 1,622 headline is a subset, not a total, and the page states the floor.
  • She is on both sides of the e-mail header, which is what a running head or a standing distribution list can never produce. Across the 1,649 Drokov* documents, a strict line-local reading finds 415 documents whose From: line names her and 326 whose To: or Cc: line does; a reading that allows a header value to wrap onto the next line finds 806 and 675. ⚠ The hinge is the wrap, and the page gives both readings rather than a single share.
  • The desk’s own act-rate tool gives 738 sender-field acts out of 1,622, 45%, against 34% for the desk’s benchmark page measured the same way. Against the narrower denominator of documents whose header maps to a sender or an addressee at all, the figure is 738 of 1,299, 57%. The tool declares its own result a floor: 37 documents were declined, not read.
  • 881 of the 1,622 documents, 54%, are a single page. The set’s mean length is 2.06 pages, pulled up by a handful of long runs, one of them 166 pages. ⚠ An earlier draft gave “1.13 pages per document”; that figure is matching pages per document, not pages per document, and it has been withdrawn.
  • ⚠ There is no second Drokova. Every token preceding the surname across the 1,847-page surname set was enumerated and all resolve to one person; the sweep was then extended to the prefix form, to her handle and to her firm, reaching 26 documents the name forms alone do not touch, every one of which was opened and is hers. The masculine and alternative transliterations Drokovoy, Drokoff and Drakova return nothing; Drokov returns 42 documents and all 42 are OCR damage to her own name.

The FBI material, at the tier the documents support

Three FBI records in the release name her, and they are three different kinds of thing.

First, an index entry for a document that has not been released. An FBI serial index of the Epstein case file lists, at row 538, a document of type FD-1023 whose title cell reads “(S) More information on Masha Drokova”. The (S) is a classification portion marking on the title cell itself, as (S//NF) is on the row above, so the title of that serial is classified secret; the index does not state the document’s overall classification, and no document in the release has been identified as that serial. ⚠ That is an index entry. The page does not say what the document contains, because the index does not, and nothing is inferred from the rows around it.15

Second, a released FD-1023, which is the weakest document in her file and the most quotable. It records an unnamed confidential human source’s account of meeting her: that she is based in Silicon Valley and runs Day One Ventures; that she did not talk about technology but said “You knew Epstein, didn’t you.”; that she said Epstein was a “wonderful man” and said it was a crying shame what had been done to him; and that the source concluded her firm was in Silicon Valley to steal technology. ⚠⚠ An FD-1023 is uncorroborated source reporting. It records what an informant told an agent, and the conclusion about her firm is the informant’s own. It is not a finding, and any sentence beginning “the FBI found” would be false of it. ⚠ Whether it is the document the index lists is not determinable from anything this desk read: the indexed one carries a classification marking the released one does not, and the page asserts nothing either way.16

Third, and this is the strongest documentary corroboration of what she did for Epstein, an FBI agent’s own record e-mail. On 3 April 2025, answering a request from the Bureau’s Enterprise Vetting Center for information bearing on who may come within arm’s reach of the President, a Washington Field Office agent set out what his investigation held on the venture capitalist Timothy Cook Draper. Six of its sentences name her. It records that Draper hired her as the publicist for his former fund DFJ; that she was made famous as a teenager, in charge of the Russian youth movement “Nashi”, for kissing Vladimir Putin on television, “such that she was nicknamed ‘PUTIN’s kiss’”; that she “was also the former publicist for JEFFREY EPSTEIN”; that she “became a Silicon valley technology investor and currently resides in Switzerland”; and that she was also publicist for QWave Capital and Runa Capital. ⚠ This is an agent’s investigative summary written for a vetting request. It is not sworn and it is not a court finding, and the page reports it at that tier. ⚠ A date-of-birth field beside her name is covered on the sheet and is not supplied here.3

⚠⚠ The same document carries grave allegations about two other, named men, for which this desk could find no disposition anywhere in the release. None of that is reproduced, summarised or characterised here, and those men are not named on this page. Her only appearance in that passage is one sentence, which states that one of those men knew her and describes her as the publicist of one of the firms named in it. Nothing in the passage attributes any conduct to her.3

What this page does not carry

⚠⚠ A trap on one sheet, recorded because a reader working from searchable text will fall into it. On a forensic extraction from one of Epstein’s own machines, two messages offering money sit directly below a block of her Skype conversation with him. They are not hers. Read at the image, those messages carry redacted participant fields: a different counterparty. Her exchange ends several lines earlier, at “I won’t”. The text layer does not mark the break.17

⚠ No allegation against her by any identified person was found in the release. Every document in which her name co-occurs with survivor or abuse vocabulary was opened and read rather than counted, and no figure is given, because a count in that class is not a finding. The great majority are a single medical-device pitch deck in which “minor” is a word in a list of pros and cons. The remainder are two very large mixed runs, an FBI serial index and a bank’s schedule of payments, in which her name sits on one sheet and that material on other sheets, about other people. One document in her set does contain massage-adjacent material: it is the device extraction described above, where the word is nine sheets away from her and belongs to other people’s conversations.18

⚠ Two of the people she introduced are given only the first names her own messages used. Nobody on the December 2018 list is named here except where Epstein’s own quoted words use a first name, which four of them do. The four whose introductions the release documents individually, and who are public in their fields, are named.

Union: 1,662 documents. ⚠ An earlier gate gave this floor as 1,648; that was an arithmetic slip and the union is 1,662. Header positions were measured over the 1,649 Drokov* documents by two regimes: a line-local one, which requires the label and the name on one line, and a header-block one, which reads each labelled field up to the next label. The two give From: 415 and 806 documents and To:/Cc: 326 and 675; the header-block regime over-counts where a sheet prints Sent and Subject without colons, so the true figure lies between. The top-level header carries an explicit +0000 offset, but the quoted headers inside the chain are not monotonic (6:18 AM, then 6:21 AM, then 11:21 AM, then a reply stamped 9:42 AM), so at least two clocks are in play and the page gives the date and the nesting order, not the times. Her “Thank you Jeffrey.” and “Hi Lesley, we’ll arrive late tonight. Where would you recommend to stay?”, which print as two paragraphs: EFTA02232263 p. 5, read at the image at 700 dpi. Groff’s “Hi. MAsha. Are you sharing one room?…” and her “Thank you Jeffrey said to book Breakers or four seasons…”: EFTA02232263 p. 4, text layer only.   17. The misattribution trap. EFTA01210240 p. 2, read at the image at 700 dpi (re-read by the round-2 gate, 2026-09-19) by the desk’s pre-verification pass; p. 1 of the run was read at the text layer for this page. ⚠⚠ This identifier is a seventeen-page slice of a forensic extraction from one of Epstein’s own machines; its p. 1 declares itself “Case Data: Messages (33301-33400 of 54988)” from an evidence image, and it is NOT a document about this subject. Drokova appears on pp. 1-2 only; the remaining fifteen sheets are Epstein’s exchanges with a dozen other counterparties, several of them with redacted participant fields, and some of that material is of an entirely different and far graver character. Nothing beyond p. 2 is used, characterised or relied on here, and a reader following this citation should treat everything after p. 2 as belonging to other people. On p. 2 her Skype thread with Epstein’s account ends at “I won’t”, and the two messages offering money that follow it carry redacted participant fields: a different counterparty. ⚠ The text layer does not mark the break, so an extraction of that page reads as one continuous conversation. The page quotes neither of the two messages, because quoting them would place them beside her name to no purpose. ↩

  18. Absences, each scoped, each instrument named. ⚠⚠ The sweep behind this section was run at DOCUMENT level, not page level. pages_fts indexes pages, so a query of the form Drokov* AND <term> can only see a co-occurrence that happens to fall on one sheet, and on a multi-page run that is the exception. The pages of each of the 1,660 documents reached by Drokov* or her handle were concatenated and searched whole. Every document returned was opened and read, and no count of them is printed, because a count in this class is not a finding. ⚠ A page-scoped sweep reported Drokova AND massage as zero; at document level it returns the device extraction described at [^trap], where her name is on p. 2 and the word nine sheets later. No allegation against her by any identified person was found. Other absences: no deposition or testimony text names her, on Drokova AND (deposition OR testimony OR deposed OR subpoena OR "grand jury") against a live control of 819 documents for deposition text; she is on no flight manifest, the five flight-vocabulary hits having been opened and found to be other people’s travel and two tracking URLs; and no document places her at the island or the ranch. The vocabulary does occur in her set and every occurrence was opened: Epstein’s own itinerary code for the island appears on nine of his monthly schedules and day sheets, including two cited here, always against his own travel and never against hers; “zorro ranch” appears only in the bank’s schedule and the FBI serial index, on sheets about other people; and one 2017 recruitment thread that names her uses the word “island” in a sentence about other candidates and not about her. ⚠ Each of these says what was not found with the instrument named, not what does not exist. ⚠⚠ And the payment absence is deliberately NOT stated: see [^uncashed]. The instruments that would hold a second payment are cheque-image batches indexed by number, not by name, and they have not been walked. ↩
