EFTA00092643 is a four-page exhibit, Bates-stamped EFTA00092643 through EFTA00092646, in the Department of Justice’s Epstein release (Data Set 9). Each page is headed “EXHIBIT: TIMELINE OF PAYMENTS TO (OR ON BEHALF OF) POTENTIAL CO-CONSPIRATORS (PAYMENTS ≥ $10,000)” and each is stamped “CONFIDENTIAL – PURSUANT TO FED. R. CRIM. P. 6(e).”1234 “Potential co-conspirators” is a label the exhibit’s own compiler chose for some of the people it lists; it is not a charge, a finding or a description this page adopts. The document immediately before it in the Bates run is an unrelated grand jury subpoena to an attorney concerning the purchase of a property by Granite Realty, LLC; the property’s address is redacted throughout that subpoena, and the subpoena’s only use of a place name is the location of the courthouse (40 Foley Square, Manhattan). The document immediately after is the amended complaint in Giuffre v. Dershowitz itself, filed as Exhibit A to a related docket entry. Neither is part of this document, and the run’s continuity establishes only that this exhibit sits among Southern District of New York grand-jury materials, not who compiled it.56

Whose exhibit this is

That question is answered by three other documents in the release, not by EFTA00092643 itself. Deutsche Bank’s outside counsel, Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, gave the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York a written presentation dated September 12, 2019, styled “Deutsche Bank Presentation to the Office of the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York.”7 Its table of contents lists nineteen exhibits, the fourteenth of which is “Exhibit N: Timeline of Payments to (or on Behalf of) Alleged Co-Conspirators (Payments ≥ $10,000),” and the presentation’s own copy of that exhibit, at its page 29, carries the identical table this document carries, beginning two rows earlier (two payments to an entity called “Designs LLC” that do not appear on EFTA00092643’s first page) and is marked with the same Rule 6(e) confidentiality legend.78 The one difference between the two copies’ headings is the word before “co-conspirators”: the full presentation’s copy says “alleged,” and the standalone copy this page describes says “potential.” Both words are the compiler’s own, on two copies of its own exhibit, not a distinction this page can resolve further.

On September 6, 2019, Akin Gump attorney Parvin D. Moyne emailed a recipient whose name is redacted, copying colleagues Andrew Stemmer and Joseph DiPiero among others, under the subject line “Exhibit - Timeline of Payments to Potential Co-Conspirators (002).pdf,” attaching a file of that name and writing: “As requested, please find attached the payment information we identified for the names/entities you requested, as well as other potentially-related or similar transactions.”9 The title matches this document’s heading exactly, including “Potential” rather than “Alleged.” An internal government email of September 15, 2019 describes a meeting with Deutsche Bank the preceding Thursday (September 12): “we got an extremely thorough presentation from them… we met with them for about three hours, and they provided a 50-page summary of their analysis,” and continues, “See, for example, the attached breakdown of payments to individuals DB identified as having been publicly reported as possible co-conspirators,” attaching a file of the same name Moyne had sent nine days earlier.10 Read together, these three documents place EFTA00092643 as Deutsche Bank’s own analysis of its Epstein-related accounts, prepared by its outside counsel and given to federal prosecutors investigating potential co-conspirators after Epstein’s death; nothing in the release shows a court, a grand jury or a prosecutor adopting the “potential co-conspirators” label as a finding.

What the table records

The table’s fifty-three rows run from December 4, 2013 to April 30, 2019 and list, for each payment of $10,000 or more, a date, a beneficiary name, an amount, the beneficiary’s bank, a beneficiary account number, the wiring account the funds were sent from, a wiring account number and a wire-details field.1 Every account number in both the beneficiary and wiring columns is blacked out throughout the exhibit and is not reproduced on this page.1234 Most early rows are wired from an account styled simply “Jeffrey Epstein,” a form that recurs throughout the table; from 2015 several rows instead show “Butterfly Trust” or “NES, LLC” as the wiring account, and later rows show “Southern Financial” (from 2016), “JEGE, LLC” (from 2018) or “LSJE, LLC” (from 2019).1234 Deutsche Bank’s own presentation elsewhere groups more than seventy Epstein-linked accounts under an internal label, “Southern Financial Relationship”;11 this page does not assert that the “Southern Financial” wiring account printed here is the same thing, only that the bank used similar language for its own account grouping.

Named recipients, and the compiler’s own characterisations

MC2 Model Management receives three payments (December 4 and 10, 2013, and January 21, 2014, totalling $79,440).1 A footnote keyed to the first entry reads: “Jeffrey Epstein has been accused of conspiring with the owner of MC2 Model Management, Jean Luc Brunel, to lure young European models to the United States for illicit purposes. Epstein and Brunel allegedly housed the models in apartments located at [address redacted], New York, NY.”1 That is the compiler’s characterisation of an accusation, not a finding; MC2’s own record as a business, and Brunel’s, are set out on their own pages and are not repeated here.

Larry Visoski (also printed “Lawrence P Visoski”), Epstein’s pilot, receives payments on eight dates between December 2013 and January 2019, ranging from $10,000 to $225,000, several marked “Petty cash,” “Promissory note” or “Loan,” and a single payment of $1,235,900 on December 28, 2015 to Horizon Title Services, which a footnote explains was “made directly to Horizon Title Services, but the wire details indicate that Epstein purchased a home for Visoski.”1234 Unlike the MC2 entry, no footnote in the exhibit attaches any accusation to Visoski; the compiler’s own footnote describes him only as “Epstein’s longtime pilot.”1

301/66 Owners Corp receives ten payments between April 2014 and February 2019, several referencing specific apartment units or renovations at the property, and later ones referencing annual figures (“2016 J Epstein,” “2017 J Epstein,” “2018 J Epstein”).1234 A footnote on this document states that the corporation “appears to be the entity that owns the property at [address redacted], the property where Epstein allegedly housed young models,” and cites a July 2019 Crain’s New York report that the corporation is an affiliate of Ossa Properties, a real-estate company the footnote attributes to Mark Epstein, Jeffrey Epstein’s brother.1 This copy of the exhibit redacts the address; a copy of the same footnote embedded in Deutsche Bank’s full September 2019 presentation does not, and gives the address as 301 East 66th Street, New York; that address is already documented, from that and other sources, on Mark Epstein’s own page, which this page does not duplicate.12

Lesley Groff is named, unredacted, as a beneficiary twice: $100,000 on January 3, 2017 (Bankwell Bank) and $100,000 on December 19, 2017, jointly with “Daniel Groff” (E*Trade Bank); both are wired from “Southern Financial.”3 Her page sets out her role in Epstein’s office and her place in the 2007 Non-Prosecution Agreement’s co-conspirators clause; this exhibit adds two dated payments to that record without characterising them further itself.

Alan Dershowitz does not appear as a named beneficiary; the exhibit records three table rows paying his law firm and a consulting entity in his name: $20,532 and $10,000 to “Coffey Burlington (Alan Dershowitz)” in 2015, and $85,000 to “Alan Dershowitz Consulting LLC” in March 2016. A footnote explains that “Epstein appears to have paid for Alan Dershowitz’s legal expenses in connection with a lawsuit filed by an Epstein accuser, Doe v. United States of America,” and that Dershowitz, not Epstein, was Coffey Burlington’s client in that suit; a further footnote mentions one more payment not given its own row, $6,504 to Coffey Burlington on May 7, 2015.12

Ghislaine Maxwell likewise does not appear as a named beneficiary. Three payments to “Haddon, Morgan and Foreman, P.C.,” her counsel in Giuffre v. Maxwell, are parenthetically marked “(Ghislaine Maxwell)” and routed through “Darren K. Indyke PLLC” (the third row’s parenthetical and footnote marker are split across the page break, at the top of the fourth page); a footnote states that “[t]hrough his attorney, Darren Indyke, Jeffrey Epstein appears to have paid for Ghislaine Maxwell’s legal expenses” in that suit, and a further footnote lists three smaller payments ($6,422, $7,756 and $3,795) that “may have been use to cover Ghislaine Maxwell’s legal expenses,” as printed.4 A further payment of $50,000 to “Alston and Bird LLP,” also routed through Indyke, carries a redacted parenthetical and a footnote stating only that the firm “represented [name redacted] in the lawsuit referenced in Footnote 11” (the Maxwell footnote) “and did not represent Epstein”; this page does not guess whether that redacted client is Maxwell or another party to the same suit, since the exhibit itself declined to say.3

Aviloop LLC receives three payments in 2018 (November 27 and 30, and earlier $40,000 in February).234 The exhibit’s own footnote about it is partly redacted: “Aviloop LLC is [redacted] aviation company.”3 Separately from this exhibit, Nadia Marcinkova’s own page records that The Daily Beast reported in March 2020 that she “is a licensed pilot and flight instructor” and “runs an aviation consulting business called Aviloop”; that reporting is independent of this document, which does not itself say whose business Aviloop is.

Two of the four women named in the 2007 Non-Prosecution Agreement’s co-conspirators clause do not appear anywhere in this exhibit’s visible text: neither Sarah Kellen nor Nadia Marcinkova is named as a beneficiary on any of its four pages. Lesley Groff is, as set out above; Adriana Ross, the fourth, is also not named.

Rows where the beneficiary is redacted

The beneficiary’s name is blacked out entirely on three of page one’s twelve rows, seven of page two’s fifteen, four of page three’s sixteen, and two of page four’s ten (not counting a Maxwell-firm row that is split across the page break): sixteen wholly redacted rows in all.1234 Four further rows are only partially redacted. One, on page three, is the Alston and Bird LLP payment described above: the firm’s name is printed in full and the client identifier beneath it is blacked out, the same cell shape as two firm-and-client rows elsewhere on that page whose client is not redacted. The other three, all on page four, print “Miss” followed by a redacted surname, wired through “LSJE, LLC,” in two cases, and the beneficiary field redacted except for the trailing words “Condominium Corp,” wired through “NES, LLC,” in the third.34 Wholly and partially redacted together, twenty of the exhibit’s fifty-three rows withhold some or all of the beneficiary’s name, ranging from $10,000 to $250,000. This page does not supply any of these names from elsewhere, consistent with this wiki’s practice of never identifying a person a production has redacted.

Two footnotes on the exhibit’s first two pages describe redacted beneficiaries without naming them. One, keyed to a redacted entry on the first page, opens with the subject’s name given twice in redacted, quoted form, then continues, of that redacted subject: “has not been publicly identified as a co-conspirator. However, [her] name appears in flight records for Jeffrey Epstein’s private plane at the time the alleged activity took place. Jeffrey Epstein added [her] as a beneficiary to the Butterfly Trust between March 2011 and January 2014.” It goes on to say that in the bank’s Know-Your-Client records the same person lists a primary address, also redacted, that the footnote describes as “the address where Epstein allegedly housed young models.”1 A second, also on the first page, states that a redacted individual “appears to have opened bank accounts in multiple names,” which the exhibit does not reproduce.1 A third, on the second page, describes a redacted individual as someone Bradley Edwards, an attorney for several Epstein accusers, alleged in a civil filing that Epstein had paid legal expenses for, “and implied that she may be a co-conspirator.”2 This page cannot confirm which specific redacted row each footnote is keyed to: the superscript numbers that would show it fall inside the redaction boxes themselves on the rendered image, except in one case.

That one exception is a $100,000 payment dated February 1, 2016, wired from “Southern Financial” through First Republic Bank, whose beneficiary name is blacked out but which visibly carries a footnote marker, “10,” immediately after the redaction.2 Footnote 10 is not redacted and identifies a named individual already documented elsewhere on this wiki. Because the marker is legible and plainly keyed to that row, reproducing the footnote’s text here would supply the identity of a beneficiary the exhibit’s own table withholds. This page states its limit and keeps it: it does not reproduce that footnote, and it does not otherwise name who received that payment.
