In April 2013 a client of Ike Groff’s sent him an instant message asking why he had not joined “Jeff”. Lesley Groff was Jeffrey Epstein’s New York executive assistant.11 Ike Groff forwarded the exchange to her the same day, and she replied: “wow…how incredibly interesting”.4 The client was Will Ford, and the released files carry his correspondence with the Groffs from March 2011 to May 2019: dinners, a wedding announcement, a daily circular he wrote himself, business leads for Tourmaline Partners, a capital raise for a venture of his own, and a link to press coverage of Epstein, sent in March 2011 under the subject line “JE”.8 Epstein-related material passes between the Groffs three times in the documents read here: that link; the April 2013 instant message, in which the name on the sheet is the single word “Jeff”; and a second press link, which Ike Groff sent Lesley Groff in July 2015.8412
In the documents read for this page Ford appears only through other people’s mailboxes. Every document cited on this page comes from the e-mail accounts of Lesley Groff or of Ike Groff, whose mail carries the notices of Tourmaline Partners, LLC and whose signature block prints a Stamford, Connecticut address.13 No document read for this page states what Ike Groff’s standing at the firm was. Ford’s name reaches 151 documents in the released files, searched on 21 October 2026, against the 23 documents read for this page: it is a floor on the record’s extent and not a proof that nothing else is there.3
What this page covers. It covers the Ford material in that correspondence: who Ford was on the face of the documents, what passed between him and the Groffs, and the one exchange in which he put Epstein’s name to Ike Groff directly. It does not reach what Ford knew, whether he had any dealing with Epstein of his own, or what “join” meant in his question. It does not reach the circumstances of his death: the records of that are a newspaper obituary and a municipal police report, and neither was obtained or read here.10 The method of his death, the medical particulars of it, and the names of his surviving family are left out by this page, not by any producer’s redaction.
Who he was, on the face of the documents
Two firms’ legal notices travel with Ford’s mail, and which notice sits under which layer of a forwarded message matters. On the March 2011 sheets his own message carries a Royal Capital Management, LLC confidentiality notice, with a separate Tourmaline Partners notice added underneath when Ike Groff forwards the thread; the Royal Capital notice is still on Ford’s own mail in November 2012.114 By 27 April 2019 the notice on Ford’s own message is Tourmaline’s institutional-research form, which opens: “This email and any files transmitted are confidential and intended for institutional investors and is not subject to all of the independence and disclosure standards applicable to research reports prepared for retail investors.”9
A notice establishes which firm’s mail system sent a message. It does not establish a registered position, and no document read for this page states what Ford’s standing at Tourmaline was, or whether it was anything more than a footer that travelled with him.
His name appears in the released files in two forms and no others. Searched on 21 October 2026 across 1,425,556 documents and 2,925,025 sheets, “Will Ford” returns 154 sheets in 151 documents and “Will GRRV” returns one sheet in one document. A fuller legal form of the name returns nothing at all, and the single apparent hit for a surname-first spelling turns out to be a page of Think and Grow Rich listing Henry Ford beside William Wrigley Jr.3 That is a measurement of the spellings searched for rather than of the man, which is why this page uses the familiar form the documents themselves use.
By 2016 Ford was writing to the same distribution list under the name “Will GRRV” about buying recreational-vehicle parks. In a message of 3 June 2016, headed “Potential deal (2 weeks away from closing on Emerald Forest in CA)” and addressed to an undisclosed-recipients line, he wrote: “I plan to raise $1-1.5MM for this transaction.” He set out the terms in the same message: “Preferred return will be 7%, with a 65/35 split beyond that, no acquisition fee (there will be a mgmt fee equal to 6% of gross revs).”2 It is the clearest single document of what the circle was for. The list that carried dinner plans and newspaper clippings was also a list Ford could raise money from.
”tidbits & quotes”
Ford ran a daily circular. The documents read here carry it under subject lines of the form “Nov 7th tidbits & quotes”, “Jul 22nd tidbits & quotes” and “May 9th tidbits & quotes”, addressed to an undisclosed-recipients line with the real distribution hidden in the blind-copy field.6157 The contents were quotations, trivia, financial newsletters and newspaper clippings. Membership was by asking: on 7 November 2012 a recipient replied to that day’s circular to say she had written to Ford the day before and was now on the list.6
Both Groffs received the circular and forwarded it to each other. On 22 July 2013 Lesley Groff forwarded that morning’s edition, on Detroit’s finances, to Ike Groff with the words “Wow. Not good.” He answered, “No very bad”.15 The circular also worked as an introduction service to the people who wrote the material: on 13 November 2012 Ford sent round a piece from the newsletter The Daily Dirtnap with its editor, Jared Dillian, in the copy line, writing “Today’s piece is worth reading.” and adding that the author would put a reader on a trial subscription for the asking.14 On 28 September 2015 he pasted the full text of a New York Times column into a message for Ike Groff, who forwarded it on to Lesley Groff.16
The earliest piece of this curating work read here predates the circular. On 6 April 2011 Ford sent Ike Groff and a colleague a clipping of a New York Times report on Thomas J. Barrack Jr. and Colony Capital; Ike Groff forwarded it to Lesley Groff the same day.17
25 March 2011: the subject line “JE”
On 25 March 2011 Ford sent Ike Groff a message whose subject line was two letters, “JE”, and whose body was a single link to a Daily Beast piece about Epstein.8 The sheet prints no headline, only the link, and this page does not reproduce the link’s address: no copy of the message read here carries that address whole, so printing it would mean assembling a string that no sheet read for this page actually bears.8
Ike Groff forwarded the message to Lesley Groff, and she answered within minutes:
“yes, he told me yesterday this would be in the Daily Beast”18
Two copies of the message are cited below, and both carry her sentence in the same words.18
The sheet does not say who “he” is. Lesley Groff was Epstein’s executive assistant and the article was about Epstein, which makes him the obvious candidate; a lawyer, a publicist or any other intermediary is not excluded by anything on the page, and this page does not complete the pronoun. Handling incoming press is ordinary work for an executive assistant, and taken on its own this exchange would carry little weight. What gives it weight is that it is the first of three.
3 April 2013: “why wouldn’t YOU join Jeff”
On the morning of 3 April 2013 Ford and Ike Groff exchanged instant messages. Ike Groff pasted the transcript into an e-mail to Lesley Groff under a subject line reading, after a reply prefix, “im from Will Ford this morning”.4
The transcript records Ford opening at 10:27:03 with “question for you” and a one-word answer coming back at 10:28:32. Ford then asked, at 10:28:50:
“why wouldn’t YOU join Jeff”4
and at 10:29:01:
“have you thought that at all?”4
Ike Groff answered at 10:30:24, “well that is a long story. but Tuesday night maybe great time for that”.4
Two points of fidelity. The words at 10:28:50 are a question, not a statement: the transcript carries no question mark on that line, and this page does not turn the asking into an assertion. And the line at 10:28:32 is described here only as a one-word answer, with no speaker attached to it: the released text does not settle whose line it is, so this page leaves it unattributed rather than assembling an answer from more than one copy.4
Lesley Groff replied to the forwarded transcript:
“wow…how incredibly interesting”4
Ike Groff replied, “I agree”.19
Ford’s handle in the transcript is “ROY Will Ford”, consistent with Royal Capital Management, which places the exchange on a work messaging system.4 The name in the question is the single word “Jeff”, with no surname anywhere on the sheet. That it means Jeffrey Epstein is an inference, and this page keeps it as one, though a strong one: Ike Groff forwarded the exchange to Lesley Groff, whose employer was Jeffrey Epstein, and she answered with recognition rather than with a question.
What “join” meant is not on the sheet. Employment, investment, entry into a social or advisory circle, or an idea Ford had no standing to float are all consistent with what is written. The documents establish that Ford put the question; they do not establish what he was proposing. Ike Groff’s answer, that it was “a long story” and better taken up in person the following Tuesday, presupposes a history he thought would take time to explain, and it is a deferral rather than a denial. Whether the Tuesday meeting happened, and what was said at it, is not in the documents read here.
2012 to 2015: the dinners, the wedding, and a second Epstein forward
The social record runs alongside all of this and is unremarkable in itself, which is why it is set out.
A calendar reminder for “Dinner w/Will Ford & Jennie” reaches Lesley Groff’s mailbox for 1 March 2012.20 The first dinner documented in her own words is described in a message of 16 March 2012 as having happened “last night”, with all four of them there. In that message she wrote to her sister, who ran a promotional-products business, to introduce Ford’s partner Jenny Rogers as a customer:
“Ash…last night I had dinner with Will Ford (a client of Ike’s) and Jenny (Will’s fabulous girlfriend who sell’s Gulfstream’s for a living! cool :)”5
That parenthetical is the only statement in the documents read here that gives the direction of the Ford–Groff relationship. It makes Ford a client of Ike Groff’s rather than an acquaintance from the industry, which is what the later business traffic has to be read against. It is Lesley Groff’s own characterisation, in a social e-mail to a family member, and no other document read for this page corroborates it.
The two men later dined without the women. In a message of 13 April 2012, again about “last night”, Lesley Groff wrote to Jenny Rogers: “Awesome! Hi Jenny..lke had a great time last night with Will…He is such a nice guy :)”. The released text renders Ike Groff’s forename with a lower-case l standing in for the capital I, and this page has not corrected it inside the quotation.21 On 16 April 2012 Rogers replied: “Will always loves going out with Ike - when Will texted me and said they ordered wine I knew they were having fun!!”21 Always is Rogers’s word, and it implies a rhythm of meetings wider than the two the documents happen to carry.
Further dinner alerts reach the mailbox for 31 January 2013 and for 11 July 2013.2223 Not all of the alerts are contemporaneous with the events they name: of the two alerts for the 31 January entry, one was sent on 31 January 2013 and the other on 14 February 2013, and the second alert for the 11 July entry was sent on 15 July 2013, so they are better evidence that the calendar entries existed than of when anyone made them.2223
On 24 January 2014 Ford announced his wedding date to the circle, and he did it by appending it to a thread about a financial news story: “By the way, tentative date for wedding is 6/27/15 on the Ford Family ranch in Arcata, CA”.24 Ike Groff’s reply and another recipient’s are on the same sheet.24 In April 2014 Ike Groff canvassed the same group about a food event with the line “Any interest in doing this. Will Ford is going”.25 The business list and the social list were the same list, and a wedding announcement riding on a market-news thread is the clearest demonstration of it.
Then, on 28 July 2015, Ike Groff sent Lesley Groff a link under the subject line “from yesterday page 6”. The
link’s own address reads jeffrey-epstein-isnt-looking-too-hot-these-days.12 It is the second item of
Epstein press passing between the Groffs in the documents read here, after the March 2011 link, and the third
piece of Epstein-related material once the April 2013 instant message is counted with them. No reply to it is on the sheet.
March 2016: Ford’s network as a pipeline
Ike Groff had lunch with a former colleague of Ford’s. On 15 March 2016 he logged the lunch in Tourmaline’s
contacts system, dating it “3/11” in the note itself, and forwarded the entry under the covering line “This is
who I met”. The note,
recorded against the author field igroff, begins: “I met Deric Senne for lunch on 3/11. Deric was a
colleague of Will Ford at Lehman prop many years ago. He is joining a family office in Dubai.”26 The
rest of it is a sales assessment of that family office: how it trades, how many broker relationships it keeps,
and what Senne told its chief investment officer about Tourmaline’s model.26
This is the most concrete evidence in the documents read here that Ford’s professional network worked as a source of business for the firm whose client he was. His former colleague arrives, is assessed, and is written up as a lead. Whether Ford knew of the introduction, or was paid for it, is not in the documents read here. Senne’s name appears on a single sheet of a single document in the whole release, searched 21 October 2026, so this is the entirety of that thread as the files carry it.3
2019: the last documents
The last item of Ford–Groff correspondence read for this page is from 27 April 2019. Ford sent a Bloomberg feature to four recipients, the Groffs among them, under the Tourmaline institutional-research notice, and Ike Groff forwarded it on 9 May 2019.9 Its distribution is narrower than the circular’s: four named recipients rather than a blind-copy list.9 Nothing read for this page connects the article’s subject to Ford, the Groffs or Epstein, and this page proposes no connection.
The last circular read here is from the same day, 9 May 2019, headed “May 9th tidbits & quotes” and carrying a single link to an essay about acting under circumstances one cannot control.7 The documents read for this page end there, which is a statement about this page’s reading and not about the release.
His death, and the sequence
Ford died on 26 September 2019 at Mountainside, New Jersey. He was 47.10
None of that is established by any document in the released files read for this page. It rests on two records that were not obtained or read here: a newspaper obituary, and a three-page sudden-death investigative report released by the Mountainside Police Department in March 2026 in answer to an Open Public Records Act request filed by an outside contributor, relayed to this page at second hand.10 No contents of the police report are reproduced, relied on or characterised on this page. The clinical and forensic particulars, and the identities of Ford’s surviving family, are omitted by this page’s own choice and not by any producer’s redaction.
The dated sequence, set out with no causal claim attached to it: the Ford–Groff correspondence read for this page ends on 9 May 2019; Epstein was arrested on 6 July 2019; Epstein was found dead at the Metropolitan Correctional Center on 10 August 2019, on which see the circumstances of Epstein’s death at the MCC; Ford died on 26 September 2019. This page asserts no connection of any kind between the two deaths, and the nearness of the dates is not evidence of one.
What these documents do not establish
They do not establish criminal conduct by Ford. They do not establish that Ford had any dealing with Epstein. They do not establish that Lesley Groff knew anything of Epstein’s offences: awareness that a man was the subject of hostile press is a different thing from knowledge of what he did, and this page does not run the two together. Finding a friend’s question about a career move interesting is not an act.
What they do establish is narrower, and it can be checked against the sheets. Epstein was a nameable, discussable subject inside the Groffs’ own correspondence from at least March 2011. Epstein-related material passed between the two Groffs at least three times between March 2011 and July 2015 - two press items and one pasted instant-message transcript - each time at Ike Groff’s initiative.18412 A client of Ike Groff’s raised the prospect of Ike Groff joining him, by name, in 2013, and Ike Groff answered that it was a long story better taken up in person.4 And the same distribution list that carried that relationship also carried dinners, a wedding, a business lead and a capital raise.526224
This page records the documents, and leaves the questions they raise to whoever puts them.
How this page was checked, and what was not checked
No page image of any document cited here was available to this page. All 23 cited documents were read in the released text that accompanies them, and none was read as a picture of paper. Checked on 21 October 2026, none of the 23 is held in the local mirror of released images, and the route that serves them sits behind an access control this page does not go around. That limit applies to every quotation and every name below, and it is stated here rather than worked around.
What stands in its place, where it can, is a second independent reading of the same paper. Eight of the spans quoted on this page survive in two separately scanned and separately recognised copies of the same message, produced in different datasets, whose released text differs in its errors while agreeing word for word on the span quoted. Checked by execution on 21 October 2026, those eight are the subject line “im from Will Ford this morning”, the handle “ROY Will Ford”, “question for you”, “why wouldn’t YOU join Jeff”, “have you thought that at all?”, the 10:30:24 line, “wow…how incredibly interesting”, and “yes, he told me yesterday this would be in the Daily Beast”.184 Agreement between two independent readings is weaker than reading the paper and stronger than one reading alone. Where a line does not agree across the two copies, this page does not quote it and does not merge the copies.4 The outer layer of that thread, which carries “I agree”, exists on only one of the two cited copies, because the other copy begins further down the thread; that is a difference in what each message contains, not a claim about how either sheet was treated.19
Quotations are reproduced exactly as the released text prints them, which here means two full stops in one place, three in another and four in a third, an unclosed parenthesis, a lower-case l standing in for a capital I, apostrophes in the writers’ own plurals, and six lines that carry no closing punctuation at all. Nothing inside quotation marks on this page has been tidied, corrected, extended or joined to any other quotation.
Six of the quotations run across a line break in the released text, and each is closed here with a single space. Every one of those six break points was opened and read, and all six are ordinary mid-sentence word wraps with consecutive words of one sentence either side and no gap of any kind at the break. This matters because the character recognition does not mark a gap where a producer has removed something, it closes one, so joining across a break is only safe once the break has been looked at. The footnote for each such quotation records the join.
Dates in this page’s prose are given in the page’s own words, and no e-mail header line is transcribed. That is why the page gives no clock time taken from a message’s own delivery furniture; the clock times it does give are inside the body of the pasted instant-message transcript.

Name-form search of the released files, run 21 October 2026 with column-scoped phrase queries, bracketed by a firing positive control and an invented negative control that returned zero. Denominators measured the same day by execution: 2,925,025 sheets, 1,425,556 documents. “Will Ford” 154 sheets / 151 documents; “Will GRRV” 1 / 1; “William Ford” 0 / 0; “William Russell Ford” 0 / 0; “Ford, William” 1 / 1, which on inspection is a list of American industrialists in a copy of Think and Grow Rich at https://epstein-data.com/EFTA01220520 p.13 and is not this subject. “Deric Senne” 1 / 1; “Jenny Rogers” 2 / 2. “Royal Capital Management” reaches 5 sheets in 5 documents in the whole release, and all five are documents cited on this page. For scale on the same day, “Tourmaline Partners” reaches 2,870 sheets in 2,550 documents and the word Epstein reaches 879,730 sheets in 578,565 documents. A zero in this list is a fact about the spelling searched for, not about the person; the first form of the 2013 question returned a false zero because the index discards the apostrophe, so the figure quoted at 4 comes from the re-run form. ↩ ↩2 ↩3 ↩4

The released text of the two copies does not agree on the speaker of the 10:28:32 line, so this page neither quotes nor attributes that line; it does not say how either copy reads it, and it assembles nothing from the pair. The attribution of the 10:30:24 line to Ike Groff is taken from the first copy cited above, which prints that speaker label; this page makes no statement about any other copy’s rendering of it, and no page image was available to settle anything about either sheet. Same document, earlier layers: Lesley Groff to Jenny Rogers, 13 April 2012, and Rogers’s reply of 16 April 2012, both at https://epstein-data.com/EFTA02170494 p.1.
