Search the public DOJ Epstein corpus by image content (CLIP) or face (InsightFace).

Scope & terms of use

This tool searches the publicly-released DOJ EFTA production (DS1–DS12), House Oversight, USVI, FBI Vault, and DOJ-OGR. Faces of victims have been redacted by the DOJ; you cannot un-redact them with this tool. Public figures appearing in these productions are intended search targets. Misuse for stalking, harassment, or doxxing of private individuals violates the terms of use.

Minimum similarity ⓘ Cosine similarity measures the angle between two vectors in a high-dimensional space. CLIP encodes each image as a 768-dim vector; cosine similarity between query and result vectors ranges from −1 (opposite) to 1 (identical), with 0 = unrelated.

Roughly: ≥ 0.95 ≈ same image. ≥ 0.85 ≈ same scene. ≥ 0.75 ≈ similar visual elements. < 0.75 ≈ noisy / coincidental overlap.

What we do with your image: the image is sent to our server to compute a CLIP/face embedding. The image is held in server memory only for the duration of the request and is not written to disk. Embeddings are not retained. We log: timestamp, IP, embedding query type, and result count, for abuse prevention.
