The reality of this situation is we are not able to go full throttle with business as usual. We have to make adjustments, understanding we may not be as effective as we usually are for a temporary period. Although TFOs will likely be pulled back by the NYPD at some point to help with their difficult mission, they are not able to "tele-work" and will need to report to the office. IN and I have decided to let the TFOs have the squad area after 3pm, so agents that need to be in the office should plan to clear out by 3pm. Agents that need to come to the office should expect to do so only when necessary and for short periods of time, and shouldn't be coming into the office to "handle routine business, training, paperwork, scheduling meetings, etc. if it can wait or be handled via telework." lAs/SOSs have been directed to tele-work so they will be working remotely, available via Samsung to support the mission.
