I only discussed briefly with him over the phone last weekend so maybe you can confirm he's OK with doing this on top of the $11,000 whole genome (through Illumina). After a long hold up the IRB paperwork to do the whole genome should be done with a consent form I expect to be newly approved in 10-14 days. We are ready to go with collecting samples for the exome work which will include a memory stick of his compressed data for him to keep and indefinite bio banking if he opts for either of these.
