I am attaching three documents pertaining to the story. This involves a 19-year-old Texas man who lured a 14-year-old girl over the intemet to a hotel in Boca. He pleaded guilty and at sentencing, his public defender argued for less than the guidelines. Ms. Villafana asked for the lower end of the spectrum. During sentencing, the victim's mother, however, mentioned that the defendant had prior relations with minors. This moved the judge to issue an admonishment against the Government for intentionally withholding key information at sentencing. I am including Mr. Acosta and Lourie's argument to amend the judge's order, which I will mention in the story. But this all happened just before the Epstein deal was signed. And, as we've previously reported, Ms.Villafana wrote in emails in September of that same year that she didn't want to tell the judge the scope of Epstein's crimes and how many victims were involved.
