Jeffrey Esptein Page 1 of 2 Barbara Burns From: Barbara Burns Sent: Friday, October 09, 2009 10:25 AM To: Michael McAuliffe; Paul tacks Subject: FW: Jeffrey Esptein I need to know how you want me to proceed on this. Apparently one of Epstein's victim'= is suing him civilly and had an encounter with him in the lobby area of Jack Goldberger's office building, where Epstein was within 10 feet of her, stared her down and smirked until she became frantic and ran. Her attorney was with her and witnessed this happening as she was arriving for a deposition in timl ilase. The attorney has contacted Prob. Ofc. and requested that he be violated. I spoke with Det. and he indicated that she was having severe emotional problems at the time and was not part of the State's case, but became very cooperative with the federal case. Now Probation Officer,M is requesting that I identify all of the victims of the State's case and produce written no contact orders for them. I have scoured the boxes and can find no written no contact orders and the only reference made to no victim contact is a very vague excerpt in the plea colloquy. We do not know who the victims are in the probation case. On the court event form, it does not mention contact with victims. If so, I would need a written "no contact order' Thanks, From: Barbara Burns [mailto: Sent: Frida October 09, 2009 9:27 AM To: Subject: RE: Jeffrey Esptein No contact for whom?
