While honored on stage a mere 6 weeks after the attacks, paddles were lifted and $1.2 million was raised in a promise that these victims, and no other challenged athlete will be denied the chance to be active. As the founder and Chairman of this event, and a CAF Board Member, I am proud to share that this event has raised $7 million since its inception in 2007 and has helped OAF support more than 8,200 physically challenged athletes to become whole through sports.
