states that he has an imaged copy of EPSTEIN's kitchen counter laptop that has phone messages that he hadn't seen before. An employee was stealing frim EPSTEIN that called the Palm Beach Police Department. EPSTEIN donated $40,000 to help purchase a machine to help PBPD review security footage. He also wrote a check for $90,000 to help them purchase a finger print machine (AFIS terminal). This was around the same time that the first victim had come forward to the PBPD. did not cash this check. It was very common for PBPD to receive donations from the wealthy like this. had one time went out screaming. EPSTEIN donated to the police scholarship fund for children. He donated more than others. asked JERRY GOLDSMITH who EPSTEIN is. GOLDSMITH said that EPSTEIN supports law enforcement and is an important guy. PBPD checked him out and saw a New Yorker article about him. became the police chief in 2001. In the early 2000's, maybe 2003 a call came into the tip line that attractive women were coming in and out of EPSTEIN's house came in. they surveilled EPSTEIN's house and 2 separate women were stopped. They were both students of Palm Beach University, both adults and said that they were working for him. The stepmother of the first victim (vic possibly named ) was the one who made her come forward. The stepmother called and said her daughter is having sex with a man in Palm Beach. They were brought in to the precinct and she said "I'm not the only one, there are other girls doing it". This case was assigned to who interviews a few days later. The case started to grow rapidly. experience inside the house is then corroborated. More surveillance is done on EPSTEIN's house. Some kids are observed, prepubescent with braces and backpacks coming from school. Aviation personnel spoke with PBPD about who is coming and going.
