Present for the interview were FBI Special Agent (SA) FBI Task Force Officer (TFO) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) SA and Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) AUSA advised that the interview was in lieu of an appearance before the Federal Grand Jury and is voluntary. SA provided with an OIG "Warnings and Assurances to Employee Requested to Provide Information on a Voluntary Bases" form, which signed and was witnessed by SAs and . After being advised of the identity of the interviewing investigators and the nature of the interview, provided the following information: worked for Corrections Corporation of America (CCA) from approximately 2000 until 2002 when he started working for BOP at MCC. On August 10, 2019, was assigned Internal #2 on the morning watch, which is 12am-8am. This post helps with the count, getting paperwork and rosters ready for the count and sometimes helps conduct the count of some of the units. Units 9 South and 10 do not require help for the count because there are officers stationed in those units that do the counts. During the morning watch shift on August 10, prepped the count by getting the paperwork together. Officer , as the Control Officer, took officers' phone calls, receiving the verbal count for the 12am, 3am, and 5am counts.
