Can you describe any threats that were made towards you that made you feel that way? A That, | think, is one of -- like, | think the most important thing to understand in all of this, that it wasn't so obvious, and it wasn't so, like, in your face. It was very covert, behind closed doors, the grooming process of, you know, being targeted as a vulnerable person and then him gaining your trust and then making you dependent on him and making false promises to you. It was like he kept you trapped, and, you know, making him seem like he-was your savior. And then you saw the power imbalance and the power dynamic of him knowing everybody in the world, and | remember -- | remember during my employment talking to‘one of my friends, and they were like, "Sarah, you -- you work 24/7, traveling every 2 to 3 days” The amount of hours that you i work, you should be making 2- to $300,000 a year." And | was like, "Yeah, but anybody that could hiré me or would hire me in that capacity, like, they are all friends with Jeffrey, and he's not going-to let me leave. Like, he won't let them hire me." So it was just knowing that he really-had full control over everything and then just the fear of a5 not knowing where else to go and not'wanting to upset him. Mr. Higgins.
