Q And to your knowledge, that 2001 dinner that I keep going back to, was that the first time that President Clinton had met Jeffrey Epstein or Ghislaine Maxwell? A Again, I'm not exactly sure whether it was 2001 or 2002, but -- I'm not sure of the distinction. I don't know. I'm sorry. Could you restate the question? I'm sorry. Q Yeah. So I just asked how you would describe the nature of President Clinton's relationship with Mr. Epstein, going back to that dinner back in 2001, was that the first time that President Clinton had met Jeffrey Epstein or Ghislaine Maxwell. I know you were present there. But can you just expand on President Clinton's relationship? A You know, as I said, I don't know whether or not that was the first time that he met either of them, and I was a staff member staffing him at that dinner. So it was the first time that I did as I, again, have a vague recollection of. Q Can you explain what you meant by you thought President Clinton and Mr. Epstein were friends? A Well, you asked me to describe their relationship, and I -- they appeared to be friends to me. I mean, Jeffrey Epstein had an airplane and things that were important to the President, and the potential of being a supporter of his and friend of his. So that's what it seemed to be to me. Q So they had, to your knowledge, friendly conversations any time that you were present around President Clinton and Mr. Epstein? A I don't recall ever being present for any of their conversations. Again, as I said, I have a vague recollection of being at the dinner, but I was staffing the dinner. So I wasn't incredibly involved in it, and I don't recall any other conversations that I was a part of with the two of them.
