And so those are -- those are the kinds of matters that law firms tend to really like. Q Understood. And what did you understand Mr. Epstein's job to be at this time? A I understood, you know, just generally, that he was someone who had a lot of financial expertise and acumen and had acted as an advisor to, you know, wealthy people and families. Q And obviously he had this gigantic mansion that you went to, but did you already understand Mr. Epstein to be a wealthy man when you first met him? A I didn't know anything other than the size of the house, and no normal person lives in a house like that. Q Understood. And you mentioned that he had done some sort of -- or it was your impression he had done some sort of financial work for families or other individuals. Do you know how -- did you know how he acquired his money? A I didn't. Q At the time of your first meetings with him, did you learn who any of his clients were or purported to be? A No. Q When did you first learn who his clients were? A I knew -- I don't remember exactly when I learned, you know, over the course of time. And I didn't know the exact nature of the client relationship. It wasn't -- other than what I observed about my own -- the client I did come to represent, who he was the primary advisor for. But I didn't -- I didn't have any insight, if you will, into his relationships with other clients.
