So I was going to night law school part-time, which -- you know, working full-time to support myself, which was a lot. My role initially was just a continuation of what I did of my role as the President's aide when he was in the White House. Q And what were those responsibilities? A Those responsibilities were, as was said earlier, his body man. I traveled with him, maintained the schedule, tried to keep him on time, giving his briefing materials. I was a staff -- I was a staffer. Q And did that role change over the course of your employment with President Clinton after he left the White House? A You know, as I said earlier to the Congressman, I -- the staff was small, so we all had to -- I think everybody jumped in and did whatever different roles. So my role, I think, morphed over time into doing more things but inside the staff -- inside his staff in his office. Q So, during this time, after he leaves the White House, generally speaking, if someone wanted to speak with President Clinton or arrange a meeting with him, how would that work? A You know, there's a number of ways someone could arrange a meeting or speak with him. They could call him. He had a cell phone. His house, his office, all the other staffers, his friends, his family. There was a number of ways to get in touch with him and a number of ways to set meetings and visit with him.
