7011— No complaints from the Khans and a Longeteig Hello everyone — here is the years' news from all of us here in Lexington — our 17" year here! (How time flies.) Hasan and Karen welcomed in the New Year at a gala event thrown by our local and excellent Lexington Symphony — managed to dance the night away and just about stay awake. Ayesha left on January 1" for Karlsruhe, Germany, to start a new job with GameForge, an on-line game developer — her third job in the industry. She has settled in nicely and enjoys the work and her colleagues, but especially the fact that her boyfriend, Fraser Moore, moved from Scotland to be with her (and is now working at the same company). She visited us twice this year on her way to/from Austin for work. Her cats, Mowgli and Amenti have settled in well with us and here they will stay as she lives in a "no•pets" apartment. There remains squabbling between them and our older cats Cleo and Naima, but no blood has been drawn — yet. Zehra went to Scotland for a couple of weeks in February to look after Vimal and Gill's cats again. She continues to live in Provincetown, three hours' drive from Lexington, and continues to paint and co-create installations for several exhibitions, working with her boyfriend, Tim Winn who is also an artist. We went to a couple of their whimsical installation openings — she seems to have stopped drawing rats and has moved onto other animals, foxes, weasels, and structures such as Pawn Shops (pictured), thank goodness. She attended several friends' weddings, and in May we also joined her to attend the wedding of her good friend and former roommate, Lillian. EFTA_R1_01993365 EFTA02681684
