Following Hurricane Matthew last October, the city made the determinat=on that we needed to install at least one permanent generator in Sunset Ha=bour. The Public Works Department immediately set out to evaluate which pu=p station would be most effective with a generator. Their determinat=on was that it would be best if both pump station number two and three had=permanent power. With this recommendation in place from our city sta=f, my colleagues and I authorized in February the purchase of these genera=ors so they could be in place ahead of the summer rain.
