I feel the eastern side that faces St. John should sit on a stone=base like a fortress, even if we have a lower floor. It will give the appr=priate feel to the base of the building, which will sit on top. I will pus= it further away from the pool. I was just trying to reduce wall height. l=will send a revised site plan and elevations next week.<=p> JPW From: John P. Woods Sent:<=b> Friday, March 10, 2017 11:13 AM To: 'jeffrey E.' Subjec=: RE: LSJ Pavilion I thought we were elimi=ating the privacy wall and doing the screening with landscaping. What abou= a light structure like a vertical trellis with plants on it to form the b=ck drop for the courtyard? We can also put palms in front of it on the cou=tyard side. If you do two floors, what do you want to put on the lower lev=I? The primary area to incorporate a lower level is under the terraces fac=ng St. John. The main part of the building sits mostly on grade. The terra=e is between 12 —14 feet wide, but we can make it wider.
