The soffits have been packed out to accommodate stone (which is a different width than stucco) in the areas we chose. All that will have to be changed. I already changed the garage side soffits to stone pack out width. The areas that will receive stone have a vapor barrier installed, that is being done this week. If you want to cut back, I would suggest cutting out the garage side stone, but keep in mind, we'll have to change the pack out. And I'll have to stop them from doing the vapor barrier there and on the front which won't have stone. Another way to save money and still make it look consistent with the plan would be to do stone just in the entry way (like you suggested) but also do a stone water table about 4 ft up all the way around the house. The front entry would be all stone and pre cast. I think that would look great. Adjusting the soffit is not the end of the world. It would be consistent like we had a plan. I had planned a precast entry way and also was going to ask you guys if we could do a piece of precast over the gothic window in the front of the house to make it longer. I need to know what you want today to call off the dogs. However a lot of this work may already be completed. Bob, we are thinking of only doing stone now on the area of the front door all the way up to second floor..basically, the popped out portion of the front door area...then ALL the rest of the ho
