I don't know if when they renovated they turned off all the pipes where the heat comes from then built the vents over it with no access to the controls to turn the heat up or down. Normally you should be able to access behind the vents to control this, but there is no way to access them. I had to get a small room heater to heat the bedroom at night because it's so cold in here.
