The key is to make the transition so that even though I am ending the job it doesn't get viewed as reflecting negatively on you. I think this is valuable for you. We need to work on a plan that looks natural where ideally you say you have chosen to leave to pursue other work and living elsewhere. If we can't work this out it will not change the fact that our work has to come to an end. We need to have a conversation about what that transition looks like. You are very employable. You will be able to earn income in the future. You can't look to me for all your financial expectations. Your future work for someone else will have to be the key element there.
