To: Jeffrey [email protected]] From: Richard Kahn Sent Fri 2/22/2013 4:03:52 PM Subject: Zorro Fiber & Phones after three weeks of waiting for a breakdown of costs from Richard Boltz below is his response which focuses on the only item he and his firm can earn recurring revenue on which is managing the system currently we do not have any properties with managed systems and see no reason for this the majority of the work on richard's bid would be subcontracted out to other vendors the main difference between richard bid and ITC bid (worth shepard) is their approach on burial of wire Richard approach is to lay fiber using direct burial which does not require boxes at shorter intervals ITC approach is to lay fiber with an outer jacket which serves to protect the cable against environmental hazards and gives a means of managing the cable This approach will also require boxes at shorter intervals for cable pulls and allow for future growth or expansion without having to dig up wire ITC which does DOD work in addition to work for local universities says that they all have used an outer jacket I need guidance on which approch you prefer and then i will negotiate and get best pricing Brice and vendors agree that April is best time to do trenching (3 to 4 weeks) and then another 3 to 4 weeks for ITC or Richard Bruce the telephone vendor will only require 3-5 days Lead time to order fiber is 3-5 weeks Would you like to meet with Shepard from ITC and or Bruce on your upcoming visit to ranch If so please let me know what day and with whom so i can arrange Richard Kahn HBRK Associates Inc.
