She was out of the country until Sunday evening. Basically she said she cannot accept your offer of $40,000 for her entire inventory, or $25,000 for the Sea Grape, Palms and Canopy Trees. Her reason was simply economic, since it will be a significant loss for her. She has other interested buyers, and she is confident she will sell her plants. I told her if she has trouble selling them and would like to reconsider the offer to let me know. She also said if we change our mind and would like to pay a more agreeable price to let her know as well. So That's where that stands. As far as getting more trees organized from Puerto Rico or St. Croix, I think that would be wise, considering that there are several areas that need to be planted, especially with the new pools coming in. We only need to organize which types of trees, and total quantities, and then of course Organize where they are going, so we can have as smooth of a transition as possible. Since our trip to St. Croix for the Ag Fair , Saturday February 19th when you made mention of your interest in getting plants from St. Croix I have been trying to locate people and businesses selling the type of trees and plants you may be interested in for LSJ. I have found some very promising leads, however to be sure of the quality of the inventory and also of the logistical concerns for shipping, I would have to make a trip to St. Croix to visit these sites first hand, take photos and make contacts, I will say the potential is very promising.
