The walk last week went o.k.- but I was a little dismayed at the amount of maintenance that needs to be done (spraying, weeding, removal of dead plants like the sea grape that were transplanted, etc.). Chris stated that he's ordered a new sprayer, so that should help. But it appears to me that he's short on manpower. When the guys are planting, no one is available to continue on with routine maintenance, and it brings down the overall look and feel of the site. Perhaps you could consider bringing in a few guys part time occasionally to keep augment the crews while the installations going on, provided that Chris and Peter can adequately manage them. As for our material, I'm happy with what I saw except for the grasses and the Areca palms. I counted a little over 100 grasses that don't appear to be coming back, and the Areca palms are already getting windburn.
