According to Sinai's term sheet, the compensation offered ($560) will be slightly less than I'm currently earning. Additional income will be based on a % of gross collections (not net). The offer is too low. I would require a base salary and clinical supplement of $65Ok. Administrative supplement should be based on 25% of all philanthropy collected throughout the contract. According to Arthur Klein, Sinai would cover my office expenses as a stipend to me. I would personally pay all my expenses related to the office including staff. My annual expenses were $386k. I will need an additional medical assistant at $65k and an additional $50k for the ultrasonographer. Sinai would need to cover my office expenses at $5O0k. Last, my Sinai academic title will be Professor of Urology. My clinical title will be Director of Microsurgery (Urology). Term Sheet offered to me: Compensation: • Benefits Base Salary of $160,000 per Year--Change to $250,000 • Clinical Supplement of $400,000 per Year • Administrative Supplement - $25,000 (This supplement will be paid once you achieve a philanthropic target of 5100,000/ ear for the term of the contract) -- Change to 25% of all pilanthropy raised during the term of the contract Total Compensation of $585,000 per Year--Change to $650,000 plus administrative supplement • You can earn additional compensation at the end of each calendar year if you personally have generated more than 51,000,000 in collections.
