B-3 St. Thomas, VI 00802 Dear Mrs. de Jongh: Por As you advised, I am resending Heather's letter and attaching our "Wish List" as to our needs to move into the world of technology. The timing is perfect as two new teachers have been hired for the next year with considerable skills in the field of technology. We took great care in compiling our list. We know we are asking for a lot, but in truth, many of our students don't have access to computers or the internet at home which hinders their education. This would be a giant step forward for them and for The Kingshill School. The laptops and Kindles will belong to the school and the students will be asked to sign a responsibility pledge to take care of them. We will periodically inspect the laptops and Kindles to ensure they are in working condition and being cared for properly. Our list of needs: 32 student laptops with wireless capabilities 6 teacher laptops with wireless capabilities 38 computer cases Wireless capability (Linksys?) for the school. Most likely only one router needed. 40 Kindles with cases 1 - 5 wireless color printers/fax/scanners that all computers could access Printer ink Printer paper Microsoft Office for Students software that enables power point presentations software for graphic design ("PrintShop" —type) 2 large flat screens that can be plugged into teacher computers (for large group viewing) 1 audio-visual cart on wheels (for storage and easy access to rooms) 1 Smart Board Thanking you for your attention and concern-- Sincerely, kickAtuukcerniotAt,_ Janie Koopmans Director Accredited by Middle States Associ
