August 30, 2011 Mrs. Cecile deJongh Manager Financial Trust Company, Inc. 6100 Red Hook Quarter, B-3 St. Thomas, VI 00802 Dear Mrs. deJongh, My name is RECEIVED SEP 13 2011 and I am about to become at the All Saints Cathedral School in the upcoming school year. This summer I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Junior Statesmen of America Summer School Program Session I at Georgetown University Session I. Although I intend on becoming an Obstetrician/Gynecologist, I always wanted to attend the Junior Statesmen of America Summer School Program at Georgetown University since my freshman year of high school. Hearing stories from my classmates and schoolmates who had previously attended made me become even more interested in attending. I would just like to say thank for your support. Without your help I may have missed out on a beneficial opportunity. I would just like to share with you my experience there with you as a symbol of my gratitude. When I first arrived, I was shocked that I was placed into Constitutional Law when I had chosen Speech and Political Communication. I even learned that undergraduate law students do not even take this course until their junior year, but my professor, Dr. Martin Sheffer, made it easy to understand. Surprisingly, I knew most of what he was talking about and referring to. He was down to earth and spoke to us and not over us so it was easy to understand what he taught .The main part of this course was completing briefs for one hundred cases. It was a lot to do but we were all separated into groups to lighten the work. At first I was nervous about the Congressional Workshops, where students are placed into different houses and debate amongst themselves. As the debates started, I started to get EFTA01221341
