The only payment that should go out ASAP is the exome sequencing work. That comes out to $1000 for the saliva sample I collected on Sat from him PLUS $1000 for exome sequencing of his fibroblasts PLUS $1000 for each person he wants to add to the study (if any). The whole genome sequencing through Illumina does not need to be paid until he gets the second consent form from me - about 2-3 weeks from now. But if he wants to send and just have me hold on to it, that's fine. This cost is $11,400 for rapid turnaround. If he wanted to include his parents for "trio analyses" that would be $21,000. All the other stuff is optional and explained in the attached invoice. Happy to discuss with him if there are any questions (specifically the large bioinformatics item / #7). I think if the check is in the $5000-6000 range just for the exomes, it can just get made out to me and sent to my home address. For larger checks including those other items, I wonder if it could be mailed to one of my family members. This is embarrassing but since I'm divorced and owe the ex some money, I don't want a large amount going into my personal account and potentially being at risk when it all needs to get used for this research. Anyway, let me know what Jeffrey is willing to cover and if the check is large, I may ask that it go to my dad (who is absolutely trustworthy - he would just be ha
