We have for consideration the report of the Civil Procedure Rules Committee recommending revisions to the Statewide Uniform Guidelines for Taxation of Costs in Civil Cases. We have jurisdiction, see art. V, § 2(a), Fla. Const., and approve the revised guidelines with the modifications discussed below. BACKGROUND In October 1981, the Statewide Uniform Guidelines for Taxation of Costs in Civil Cases were approved for publication and distribution by administrative order issued by the Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court.
