Gm ii 09-17-2014 - Service Zach Bland < Wed, Sep 17, 2014 at 3:07 PM To: Brice Gordon Brice, This is what we accomplished today at Zorro Ranch. - Ungrounded the grounded plugs on gear - no change in hum - tried new power cords on amps - no change in hum - Unplugged all sources from Sony Receiver - no change in hum - Unplugged all sources from Speaker Amps - no change in hum - ran gear through power conditioner - no change in hum - ran new speaker wire across floor to test both amps with speakers - no change in hum - plugged speaker into Sony Amp - hum greatly decreased. Could barely hear it on maximum volume. - must be bad amps for the speakers - measured the area for the new rack - looked at klipsch speakers for replacing and upgrading - inspected cabling for possible upgrades - got info for new proposal I will email you on the new gear and proposal as soon as possible.
