I feel the eastern side that faces St. John should sit on a stone base like a fortress, even if we have a lower floor. It will give the appropriate feel to the base of the building, which will sit on top. I will push it further away from the pool. I was just trying to reduce wall height. I will send a revised site plan and elevations next week. JPW From: John P. Woods [mailto: Sent: Friday, March 10, 2017 11:13 AM To: 'jeffrey E.' Subject: RE: LSJ Pavilion I thought we were eliminating the privacy wall and doing the screening with landscaping. What about a light structure like a vertical trellis with plants on it to form the back drop for the courtyard? We can also put palms in front of it on the courtyard side. If you do two floors, what do you want to put on the lower level? The primary area to incorporate a lower level is under the terraces facing St. John. The main part of the building sits mostly on grade. The terrace is between 12 — 14 feet wide, but we can make it wider. JPW From: Jeffrey E.
