We did touch on moving fwd with retainer / salary, and is open to any ideas. Darren informs, he is still listed as chief Pilot for an Agricultural Spraying company in Central Florida, different than the company he sold. Darren says he makes $2000 to $3500 per day spraying crops, as he mentions, its thought to compare with the $1000 per day we are offering him, in the past he has received W2's from $250k to $300k for Crop spraying, and was home every night, which is beneficial not that he has a 1 year old daughter, he admits Crop spraying grueling work but lucrative, its sun up to sundown and prefers Corperate flying with us. Darren also has a FAR135 Charter Certificate with his Bell 407 with Louis Beck his partner, that also demands his time, when a charter is booked, he does have a list of Bell pilots to cover him, but he doesn't make as much profit if he's not flying the charter. He's certainly not afraid to work hard, Darren is open to retainer, or even salary, I am meeting him for lunch at 11:30am tomorrow,,, planning to bring Darren back to the airport office after lunch and have Rich speak to Darren to brainstorm ideas moving fwd with Rich, certainly like to get Rich's opinion of Darren as well. ***Darren also admitted, he is OK with the current set up, the only issue he mentioned was, scheduling other pilots to cover his Charter and Crop Spraying missions, on the long demand Paris trips, When we cancel, the long trips, he's out that money,. Darren said, it would be nice when we schedule him for a Long demand flight, and we cancel, Maybe he gets paid a cancellation fee to cover his time, or similar? He is certainly open to suggestions, and
