We are meeting with the AIG rep at 2. Will we be discussing other open items after that or before? The woman I would have you meet works all the way down at the Bank of NY in the Atlantic terminal in Brooklyn. Late afternoon would probably be best if it works for you. This is the person I mentioned when we spoke last week. Rich sourced Tam. Rich and I had numerous conversations on this on Friday. I believe Tara is a solid hire for the family office. Although she can help Rich with the reconciliation work he is doing now I do not believe she is the "accounting" hire. She was an art history major and has spent the last 8 years doing mutual fund accounting but no formal accounting training otherwise. I would see her as great to take responsibility for the art and collectibles inventories and all related transactions. I would rather use her for functions other than those purely accounting. More so than other people we have interviewed, Tara is the right type to interact with the family and longer term would be perfect as the need to serve G2 grows. To me, she may be able to grow in multiple directions. We have one other candidate we like with more accounting expertise but I feel we need to do a bit more looking. See you tomorrow.
