Further, we would insulate open pocket areas in the main cabin area window line that exist randomly throughout. You were partially correct in your assessment - you may have heard noise coming from the UH fwd seat outboard area, but it was not from the headliner - it was most likely from the window line area where there was absolutely no insulation at all (an open pocket between ribs, exposed to the fuselage skin). Please note that the headliner panels and the valence panels have been previously treated with an acoustical barrier material laminated directly to the panels. EFTA00983601
