They were very knowledgable and have done a lot of Caribbean business. They did ritz courts, 5 courts at caneel bay and a lot of other work in bvi. Two bothers own company that has been in business for 40 years. Bruce runs office in Antigua and brant runs miami office. We will have formal quote tomorrow however some of findings are as follow: I) astro turf is original name of surface which is now called sand filled turf. Turf is laid and then sand is put on top to help absorb rain in addition to give a bit of slide while playing 2) court size is 60 x 120 and inside of berm is 95 x 135 3) turf comes in 12 feet by 120 feet strips. 4) we can do all green turf or blue court and green sides ( same look as us open) See link below for corn an website 5) agile will ship materials in 40 foot container from Miami which would include fencing, turf, sand, net, lighting etc. materials will take 2 weeks once ordered. 6) agile requires surface to be prepared by us and would prefer asphalt or concrete. They also mentioned but do not recommend using finely graded and compacted sand as base. We will need better roads to quote asphalt pricing once we get specific specs tomorrow. 7) once surface is prepared they will send 2 laborers to install and asked for assistance from 2 of our employees as well. They figure two weeks to prepare court and install fence, lighting etc. 8) lighting comes in 21 foot (1000 watt poles) or 27 foot (2000 watt poles). They recommend eight 21 foot poles or four 27 foot poles. 9) other things to think about a) will court be centered in berm or pused all the way to one side in width to allow for separte shaded structure b) do we want fencing on ends only, 3 sides or none 10) vendor Is very busy but hopes to b
