Starting with the media room I understand Jeffrey wants to forgo the remote I showed him that he really liked and he just wants to do the new receiver, holding off on that remote till a later date. In an effort to have that media room done once and for all, fully upgraded, and so there isn't any more down time I strongly suggest replacing that remote. Due to the age of the remote and since it has been discontinued by Crestron it's only a matter of time until it fails and then we are back to square one with the media room being nonfunctional. If we're allowed to complete this room the right way and not to piecemeal it I think Jeffrey will be very pleased. Moving forward the less time we spend in the home troubleshooting and repairing old equipment the better, the only time we should be called upon is to add something new to the system like Sat TV or cable. As far as the gym is concerned we know there was an electrical event that caused both amps to malfunction on the left channel, we spent quite a few hours on site troubleshooting it. First we had to rewire the system, it was wired incorrectly form the start and then we were able to narrow it down to the amps. We pulled the amp to test it at our facility and still there was the hum on the left channel, we then sent it out to our Krell authorized repair shop where they are awaiting a decision from us whether to repair
