There has to be a Berlin/Chinese wall of separation between the two, but it is possible to do. We have been setting up the non-profit, but we would now like to set up with the proper people the for profit entity. This is really a novel idea to use expert crowd sourcing to reduce costs and spark innovation for specific well defined needs and priorities, and then feed them into a for profit entity.
