I was just informed about this: There are plans to purchase the lot across the street and make it one big intracoastal to ocean property, tear down the lazy river and the structures by the entrance and then install extensive landscaping features instead, taking away the "Disneyland" feel and make it the only full width estate on the island. A developer wants to offer $45M for the Dion property and an additional $10M for the place across the road. They would then sell the original neighboring oceanfront lot where the tennis court is and probably get $10 - $15M for that. Might work... Just because of the Island wide bragging rights.
