For some reason I was having major difficulty getting online in the inter-island area of the San Thursday June 10th I drove from San Juan to Puerto Del Rey (about 1.5 - 2 hours) which is a fairly large port and Marina on the Eastern coast of Puerto Rico just south of Fajardo. The marina serves as a storage facility for many private yachts, fishing boats and other boats, they have a very protected entrance, slips, fuel dock, dry-dock stacks, and it is all very secure. There is only one entrance by land that I could see, which is guarded by armed security officers, who also patrol the property on foot and in carts. I was approached several times by the guards as I walked around taking pictures. I was also denied access to one of the dry-stack areas where the huge forklifts were putting boats up for hurricane season storage. I had to go to three different offices, and talk to two different Managers before I was able to speak with Yvette Cortes who is the General Manager of the Dry-Dock area, which is also where the ramps are located, as well as the two Travel Lifts, and the Boat Fork Lifts.
