Subject: St John Villa Cecile, As I explained even now in the off season it is difficult getting 6-8 weeks in a villa on St. John. Many of the larger villas are shut down due to the storm season. It is difficult for a property manager to secure several villas with a storm threat. And then the ones that do accept reservations have some spotty rentals, a week here and there in September and October so difficult to get 6-8 weeks together in one place. Here is a great villa on St. John. It was actually on the very short list when we were looking in May/June 2009. http://peterbayvilla.com/ Slight issue is that the availability is from now only until October 6. We have captured a special rate based upon a minimum 4 weeks rental at $6500/week for 1-2 people. Of course, the rate will be adjusted for more people but I thought initially just to lock in a rate for 1-2 people. (The rack rate for a max of 10 people is $11,000/week). It is 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths and just beautiful. Rate is plus 8% hotel tax and a refundable $1,000 damage deposit. All utilities included. Thoughts? Sharon Warm Regards, Shan:m/E.
