Hi Jeffrey- Paul has had extended conversations with the governor's office — specifically the general counsel rick figlio. The next clemency board meeting is on December 9. This is last one of year — as they meet march, june, sept & dec. The usual process is to apply and parole board then proceeds to do full evaluation and recommends position to the board- As you know, clemency requires a vote by the governor & 2 of 3 cabinet members (sink, Bronson & mccullom) If one of the cabinet members is willing to bypass the usual procedure and request it being placed on agenda, the board can consider at the December meeting. However, GC indicated that he did not believe that Crist would ever support this — Appears Crist believes he is still alive and kicking in politics and is contemplating a run for Congress in his st. pete/tampa district.
