From: "Emad Hanna" To: "Jeffrey Epstein" <[email protected]> Subject: RE: Boats Date: Sun, 13 Jun 2010 02:50:10 +0000 Jeffrey, The survey was done with the boat in the water. I myself know very little about boats but when Carlos talked to me about this he said we should have done a more diligent survey and we would have probably discovered some of these issues. I would recommend we have Carlos speak with you and explain this better. Brice says below in this e mail that Carlos is involved in these matters yet Carlos says differently From: Jeffrey Epstein [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, June 12, 2010 5:41 PM To: Emad Hanna Subject: Fwd: Boats Forwarded message ---- From: brice gordon Date: Sat, Jun 12, 2010 at 5:39 PM Subject: Re: Boats To: Jeffrey Epstein <*[email protected]> Cc: Darren Indyke >, Gary Kemey < The problems where high lighted in the survey reference, hull work and rudder work. The seller advise us in regard to the engine replacement The work that was done outside of initial proposal was discovered after the engines where removed, it was only then that prop shaft/bearing issues where discovered, with the rudders shafts and bearing, it was not until the rudders where removed that the bearings and shaft work became apparent, this was explained to Emad. The survey does not involve removal of engines, rudders or prop shafts only visual inspection and sea trial Gary K did advise you at the time of inspection that Hull was the main point of the survey and the Mechanical would require refurbishment due to the age of the boat.
