We leave NYC on the 31st into St. Thomas, pick up a SUV, load it with some provisions, and then take the ferry to St. John's that same evening. We are renting a house on near the water on the southwest coast of St. John's, outside of and south of the town named "Cruz Bay". After we settle in, I'm free for a whole week. No laptop, very little e-mail, just some free, very intense thinking time...which I need each year. Looking forward to some solitary hiking in the park if it works, and staying away from any places with lots of people.
