I contacted Latham Marine the leader in high performance steering for boats, they have a kit for Yamahas 350's that works for the 300's. This kit includes helm, steering wheel, new rams and all the hardware necessary to install it, except hoses and fittings. Nothing that we have right now is compatible with this system. This kit without power steering is 6,400$, with the extra power steering pump and hardware its 10,400$. This system can be adjusted from 4 to 6 turns no more, and is rated for 105mph. The salesman indicated at high speeds less turns of the wheel are recomended for better steering and safety meaning less turns the boat responds quicker. Right now I have the power steering pump from Prd that we took of and are going to test it on Nanna. I will report the findings as soon as we are done testing. regards Carlos Brice Gordon Little Saint James USVI Phone: EFTA00671751
